Staff really needs to clean the property. There's stains everywhere and sheets smelled terrible.

There was blood stains and urine stains on the towel I was given. The room smelt terrible, my air-conditioning rarely functioned and only blew a worse smell in the room. The bathtub was rank. If I could upload photos here you would think they'd be of a horror movie set. The only complement I could give the bathroom is that there wasn't mold and I wasn't chained to the radiator having to cut my eye out to escape like in SAW. I would've cut my eye out to escape. The bedsheets just smelt bad, felt dirty and were a very dark purple, I know they do this because they want to mask how disgusting they are. if they were white Id have enough photo evidence to have everyone in that building executed for attempted murder via poisoning. The outside area was okay, nice koi pond. The pool looked clean but I wouldn't trust it enough not to catch dengue. The staff were polite, very disorganized, the checking in process took a while, I should have seen that as a warning from the lord to sleep on a pile of garbage bags.

I was really disappointed as the room I hate was so dirty. There was black mould on the mosquito net and pillows. The room smelt overbearingly damp. There were cob webs everywhere, mould on top of the fridge etc etc. I couldn’t stay any longer than a night and had to check out early and book somewhere else. When I went to check out, no one spoke to me, I was just motioned to leave the key on the front desk

Very dirty, pillows and mattress were old, mouldy with the latter being now more stain than mattress. Roof leaked when raining and destroyed laptop. Checked out early. It was a cheap option so you get what you pay for but just be prepared as even for cheap the place is pretty rough.

I liked the quirkyness of the place. Walking distance from Monkey Forest, loads of restaurants/clubs, and the best massage ever!

Dirty dirty dirty. We stayed in a private room, and thought it would be OK as all the negative reviews seemed to be about the dorms. It wasnt. The bedding and towels smelt clean/of washing detergent, but everything was stained and old and had holes. The paint was peeling from the walls in places. The bathtub had what looked like cigarette marks all over it. The tables where we ate breakfast looked like they had years of accumulated dirt. The swimming pool water was cloudy. And the rooms were locked by a simple padlock that hooked through the door handles, meaning if you just pushed on the doors they opened about 3 inches. We had booked this hotel as the last few nights of our 6 week trip, located to be near friends. If possible I would have moved, but my husband got sick and had to go to hospital and we had day trips booked, so it seemed more stress to move than to stay. Even so, we still checked out a night early as we couldnt bare it. Over 6 weeks in Indonesia this was by far the worst hotel we stayed in. And wasnt the cheapest. I know it is cheap by western standards, but basic cleanliness should still be expected. Just do yourself a favour and skip it.
