Our second stay at Castello di Buttrio! We love the charm and staff in this beautifully renovated old manor house!

We loved the ambiance of the entire property and the breakfast was very good. Dinner options were very limited but good quality. Several stink bugs in the room were off putting.

This was simply one of the most amazing places I’ve ever stayed. The photos do not capture the true beauty of the property. The rooms, staff and service, the view, the grounds, location, breakfast, the restaurant and access to everything in the region- fantastic. I can’t say enough about this place. Castello di Butrello is not a hotel, it’s a tranquil villa.

The hotel staff went out of their way to ensure we had a reservation at the Michelin rated restaurant that was on the property. The tasting menu was spectacular. The grounds are beautiful and while one waits to be checked in, a honor wine bar avails to relax in the sitting room under a beautiful chandelier.

A place to relax and recharge!!! The staff is accommodating. The concierge recommended a nearby restaurant where we had the best seven-course dinner in Italy!

Castello is a unique place to come and relax. Architecture and views are astounding. Food and wine entertain. We feel blessed.

Beatufiul hotel with beatuful rooms. So nicely done up and feels really special. Could do with having a pool for the summer months to make it even better. We were very disaapointed with the service though. For an expensive hotel you would expect them to offer to take your luggage, at dinner we wanted to taste the wines as there is an on site vineyard (the main reason for our visit) this request was met by confusion and then we felt pressured into ordering our dinner early in order to try the wines. The food came quickly but the wine incredibly slowly so we were frequently left with empty glasses. Eventually we gave up and ordered a bottle of wine but the whole experience felt a bit awkward. Breakfast was also very limited and we were not offered any cooked breakfast although appeared available as when we left we saw others with this? Again just left us feeling a little like an inconvenience!

This stay was the highlight of our trip. We were treated to the cellar tasting and enjoyed our presentation, by Andrea, who was personable yet professional. He made the experience special. Nello served us, as well and the meal was superb. We would highly recommend this place to everyone. We will be back.

It is so much more than just a place to stay.A huge estate situated on top of the hill overlooking the vineyards.
We only stayed for one night but wish we could stay longer and just walk around the vineyards for the whole day. The area around the castle is simply stunning with many old villas and farm houses.
They have their own wine label and you can buy their wines and olive oil.
The castle itself is tastefully decorated in pastel colors. Rooms are cozy and some of them still have that old castle feel.
For sure we will be coming back again.
