The long time parking is always a problem booking with Hotels.com or Expedia. One should call the Doubletree directly otherwise they won't allow you to park there for a week... This is nonsense.

I stayed for just one night before an early flight, and the quietness of my room was a big plus - I couldn’t hear any other guests at all. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced, though it would be nice if it stayed open a little later. Another positive is that the security deposit was refunded almost immediately after checkout. A few things could be improved, though. The lighting in the room was frustratingly dim, even after turning on about ten lamps. It seems like there’s a trend in hotels to keep rooms intentionally dark, and I’m not a fan. It would be much more convenient to have better, centralized lighting. Also, I’d prefer if the duvet was in a proper duvet cover rather than being placed between two flat sheets - though I understand this is common in North America. Lastly, a handheld shower head would be a welcome addition, so I wouldn't need to take two full showers just to wash my hair at a different time.

Hotel was nice; staff made the stay! The lady at reception was fantastic and was able to sort late checkouts for us! At breakfast the lady overseeing was very nice. Got extra items that were finished and was friendly throughout.

We were only here for one night but would definitely be back. The hotel was clean and modern, as was our room. Service was good. The only thing is we found 25$ for parking a little steep. Otherwise, we had a great stay. We were also given warm cookies upon check in which was a nice touch especially for our kids.

We arrived pretty late in the day after an 8 hour flight and were tired. We booked two rooms. The night clerk put us in rooms right next to each other which was great. However, the key to one of the rooms did not work. It did not work after the first visit to the reception, it did not work after the second visit. They moved us to the room next door thinking that it was the pad that did not work. The digital key did not work for the second room either; it continued to NOT work after the fourth visit to the reception close to midnight. The person at the reception did not show much empathy for a traveler with an injured ankle who had to come back to the first floor four times and still did not get the key working until morning crew came on board. The hotel did not feel that they should compensate us for any troubles (e.g. with complimentary breakfast!) which we considered a poor business.

Unfortunately, when we got there after many flight delays, the only room they had left was out of service for plumbing issues. They did find us a room at a nearby hotel. We hadn’t planned on starting our first night of vacation going to bed at 3:30am. Now I have to watch and make sure we get a room credit from Expedia. I am hoping Taft the hotel did their part and it won’t take weeks and multiple phone calls to get our money back. The hotel lobby looked very nice. The night manager and shuttle driver were very kind.

Close to the airport, gated parking which made us feel our vehicle feel protected, there was a hair in our sheets so they quickly had it taken care of and changed all our bedding.

The hotel looked brand new with a big size gym and indoors swimming. The staff was very friendly and our room had very comfortable beds and a very nice spacious walk-in shower. Finally the hotel was very close to the airport with 24 hr shuttle service.
