All the staff was kind and very helpful.
The property was lush with beautiful plants, flowers, and sculptures. Plus monkeys!!

It was a really good stay! They have a three bed room and it was so convenient. The view from the lodge reception is incredible that we were hardly in our room. All the staff were really welcoming and we made friends with them all, making the stay so much better!

Very..... noisy neighborhood!

I cannot say enough about our stay with Karama. The lodge and grounds were amazing and surreal but what made it for me were the staff members. I felt so welcomed and inspired by their hospitality and generosity. Definitely come to Karama. If I’m in Arusha again, I will be back!

This was my first stop on three weeks in Tanzania. The hotel and grounds are very well maintained. My only issue is the swimming pool, it turned my hair green!

Roof was leaking to our bed in the first lodge we had while about to sleep. Packed our stuff and got moved to a much lower standard lodge, where my boyfriend couldn’t even fit into the bed properly.
Following day needed to pack our stuff once again to get a lodge that we paid for. However, there was no hot water at all. We were too tired to change to the fourth lodge in two nights so settled to shower freezing cold.
Also the hotel pool was filthy and didn’t invite for a dip.
Upon departure I pointed out all the issues to the reception manager lady, who wasn’t cooperative at all. Rest of the staff were lovely, but she couldn’t care less about the problems we had - no refund or proper compensation. She pointed out they had great reviews already and continued watching YouTube videos after saying she’s willing to compensate 8 USD (out of ~350 USD we spent) - take it or leave it. Absolutely horrible standard of customer service.
Avoid at all means.
