Very nice owners of the hotel and perfect location!

A lovely hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance of all that Guadalest has to offer. The owner gave us a map of the area and explained where everything was including the opening times of various restaurants. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was extremely well equipped with toiletries, hair dryer and plenty of towels. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a huge selection of fresh berries and other fruit, yoghurts, cheeses, meats, pastries, cakes, eggs, bread for toasting etc. There was also a selection of juices, teas and coffees. The night we stayed we were the only 4 guests in the hotel but they still put out the amazing selection of food for breakfast. If we return to Guadalest we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed in El Tossal for one night but I have to say it was a fantastic place to stay.
The warm and friendly welcome by Inez was super, she explained everything to us that we needed to know. She even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and water.
The room was lovely with French doors and a small balcony overlooking the surrounding mountains. The overall comfort and cleanliness make this a hotel to come back to again and again.
Breakfast was included and again was superb, everything was fresh and great choices.
As a base for the Guadelest area - don't look any further!

The best service I have had anywhere. They were so welcoming. I did not have to ask any questions because she wert over everything, the facility, the town, the restaurants, the hours, etc, before we got to the room. Large comfortable room with AC, very nice breakfast and a gorgeous little town. She even gave us olive oil from the area to take home as a souvenir. You will not be sorry you staying with them.

A lovely Hotel. Clean and comfortable. Provided with a map of the town showing where the castle, restaurants and pubs were. I parked in a paid paid parking area, €2 for 24 hours, 25 meters from the hotel. Breakfast the following morning was very good, a big variety of food to choose from.

My wife and I were shocked to receive such wonderful and generous welcome! The level of service remained at top level until the very last minute of our stay. Splendid accommodation, beautiful clean room, and incredibly good and generous breakfast!!! The staff uniquely nice, friendly, helpful...we have never experienced such fabulous service even at a 5-star hotel. We will make sure that we will go back to El Tossal as soon as we will travel again in such beautiful area. With grateful regards, Carmine

Fantastic Spanish hotel. We stayed for one night. The owners were excellent. We were given local wine on arrival and a bottle when we left. Great choice for breakfast which was included. Would definitely recommend.

A really excellent stay with a very comfortably room, nice balcony, a very pleasant host, an outstanding breakfast (one of the best I have experienced). I really hope I will stay again and I recommend this hotel if you are going to visit Guadalest.

High in the mountains with fantastic views. We booked the room with balcony which was well worth slightly extra. The hosts were fantastic...even with language differences she provided a full and at times funny explanation of the facilities. When we checked in we were greeted with a free glass of wine which was welcome. When arriving by car, use front entrance as this avoids stairs as no lift. Only slight problem was that the stunning tourist village is open during the day and restaurants and cafes etc close around 6pm. However a jewel of a restaurant with fantastic hosts stayed open until way after 10.30pm serving homemade food. Just across road from back entrance of hotel.

Amazing service, lovely small hotel, I almost feel guilty paying so little. The lady of the house could not be more helpful when we arrived offered a tray with water, fruit, yogurts, & a bottle of wine. When we left after a perfect Spanish breakfast. (Including fried eggs, to chocolate cake) we were given a gift of local olive oil & honey. If we go there again we will stay there. Have recommended to out friend already..

This was an amazing place to stay. The owner was very helpful pointing out all the local places to eat and drink and see. We were showered with gifts, from wine, water, yoghurt, crisps, local biscuits and then amazed on leaving to be given more gifts. The room was great, having a lovely balcony. The breakfast surpassed any one you would get in a 5 star hotel. We left feeling sorry we were only staying one night but if we went back would not hesitate to stay there again.

I have never stayed in such a welcoming place. From the moment my wife and I arrived we were treated like superstars. Wonderfully quiet rooms fitted out with everything you needed. Great views from every room and in a great position for walking to the local sights. The breakfast selection was far superior to those of a five star hotel. So many choices!! Overall I think this is one the very best hotel experiences I have ever had. My wife and I will definitely return to El Tossal and highly recommend it.

We booked this as a last minute getaway from our Spanish home. We were delighted with the efficiency and friendliness of the owners. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Highly recommended to all. Nice touch with a gift to take home.
