Loved the hotel. Staff were lovely and the afternoon drink and nibbles get together was a lovely event. The location is perfect with great eateries and shopping, plus close to the metro system to get to anywhere you want to go.

Excellent service! Nice Hotel! Will stay again~

Rather disappointing for one of the most expensive hotels in Taipei.
Room was rather basic (a lot of the plug sockets would not work properly, no wardrobe and few coat hangers on the open space version they had) and clinical although that seems to be the Kimpton brand.
Staff are very nice although check in process is a little fussy and wish could just do it at desk rather than made to sit and wait etc.
Location is great and main reason I stayed here.
I was hoping this would replace my old favourite hotel - Home Hotel Daan (which was around the corner, much cheaper but above this in every way but sadly closed during covid) - for the business trips I do 4-5 times a year to Taipei. Biggest thing preventing this though is that they have no changing room or shower on offer - so no way to wash etc if you have a late flight and checked out. This seems very common at such expensive hotels so surprised here. I did ask the friendly staff how I could feedback on this and given a weblink to feedback on but that link never worked hence the review here will have to do instead (sorry Kimpton!)
Finally, I would also prefer a cheaper "without longe access" option as dont get to make the use of that most times due to work and if below the crucial 6,000 NTD a night mark most me and my business colleagues use would be more likely to use and stay in future. As it is they seem very happy to be tourist orientated rather than business

We were disappointed on the breakfast. We were expecting to have open buffet. We expected more local food. My wife had an vegetarian and is very oily.
Overall is good but breakfast is not liking.
4.7
Lobby is too small, and always packed with people. You feel like walking into a pub instead of a hotel.
4.7
The shared bathroom/restroom sliding door design is very questionable.

My stay at the Kimpton Da'an Hotel in Taipei was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm hospitality made me feel incredibly welcome. The room was beautifully designed, combining modern elegance with local touches. The hotel's location was perfect, providing easy access to Taipei's vibrant neighborhoods and attractions. Every detail, from the delicious breakfast to the personalized service, made my stay unforgettable. I can't wait to return!

Spacious, unique layout rooms, conveniently located outside door 3 of the subway station! Superb service provided by awesome crew at the kimpton Da an!
4.7
three of us in two rooms for 8 days. everybody is extremely helpful absolutely not a single compliant
from the room cleaning to the door all shifts of employee are always smiling and take all the time to help us. Never in rush despite lots of customers waiting in line!
4.7
Truly an urban oasis! The lobby is really calm and soothing. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Rooms were well-designed, spacious (for the city!), and clean. We also tried some drinks at The Tavernist and we had a great experience there as well. highly recommend!

We stayed for 2 nights and love the location. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping. We love the morning and afternoon snacks and happy hour!

if you like smart luxury, I recommend this hotel to you.

Great staff and facility, would stay again.

Kimpton is one of my favority brand in the World. This was the reason to chose this hotel in this Taipei travel.
1) Excellence location: If you plan to use TSA (Songshan Airport), only less than 30 min from Airport to Hotel (by Subway or Taxi). And also can use blue (BL) and brown (BR) line subway easily. Can reach Dongmen area by walk or bike. You can rent bike from hotel too. 2) Modern place: The hotel built recently. Overall design and facility place quite new and morden. 3) Pet friendly: Love this point too. Kimpton brand is generaly pet-friendly. No need additional charge and hotel prepare the amenity for your love one (pet) too. This time, I didn't travel with pet. However I could see the time spend with the others having a great time with pet in Happy hour.

All staffs are very friendly and kind.

Amazing hospitality and wonderfully central!

It’s a nice and comfortable stay

Social hours and breakfast soy milk are a nice touch. Customer service is top notch as one would expect from Taiwanese, staff are always friendly and up for a chat. Amenities slightly lacking in room toilet though I suppose you can request for them.

This is our first experience staying at a Kimpton hotel. Previously through friend’s invite, I had brunch on the 12th outdoor area, overall was a positive experience. I particularly liked its private vibe. When it comes to value, as the Taiwanese like to quote “value of CP”, honestly it was in the low side for me.
I truly enjoyed all the thoughtful design details in the room. Overall the cleanness fell short. Not very thorough.
The staff were always very helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection was great and with more than good amount in quantity.
We stayed here for 4 nights this trip. While I understood that the room assignments are rather on a first come first serve base, for the clients who stay more than 2/3 nights should have a bit more of the latitude on the floor choices as on those lower floors at this particular location, wasn’t that aesthetically pleasing on general.

Fantastic stay at Kimpton Da An. We originally planned to stay 2 nights and move to W Hotel but we decided to extend our stay after just one night. We were super impressed by the awesome service and excellent location. The hotel is near the MRT exit and is a great licale for foodies with so many excellent eateries nearby.
A special shout out to the Kimpton team of Jeff, Hunter and everyone else. They made us feel so welcome and we extremely attentive and proactive - well done team. 6 star service and we'll definitely come back to visit.
A HUGE THANK YOU!!!

Just a minute walk to the subway, the room is modern, spacious and clean. This hotel will still be my choice next time I come to Taipei

Nice place to stay. Been here several times.

Love love this place! VERY friendly staff, convenient location, and pets are allow!!! As I arrived, I was immediately greeted. The lobby were full of guests checking out and in, but if you have Elite status, please informed them so at least you don’t have to wait in line, be seated and offer a refreshment beverage while the check in process is initiated for you. Everyone here speaks fluent English, eager to please and take cares of you! So BE kind and patience, no one’s can read minds, if you like or don’t like something, let’s them know, I’m sure they will take cares of your needs. It’s a 5 stars hotel in my book, definitely will come back again with my pet.

The staff are v helpful and professional. I really enjoy the stay with Kimpton.

Very good

All the Staff are terrific, clearly led by Matthew a terrific GM. Very congenial spirit with the Happy Hour and Breakfast coffees.

One of the most dog friendly hotels in Taipei. I celebrated my birthday here and the staff were nothing short of amazing in caring for me, my girlfriend, and my girlfriends’ dog!
The restaurant on the 12th floor, The Tavernist, also served amazing food for a decent price as well - and they are also very dog friendly! Could not have had a better experience here.
4.7
The hotel was such a nice place to stay -
conveniently located and the staff was amazing!
4.7
This is a really nice modern property with impeccable services.
4.7
Love it! Besides good condition of the facility, Nothing but outstanding and friendly staffs.
Highly recommended for sure!!
4.7
Compare to so many high / medium -rated hotels that I stayed in the past, many aspects of this hotel are below average. Consider this fact, the price this hotel charged is overly expensive.
4.7
THIS HOTEL IS AMAZING!! It is tastefully designed and the staffs are very attentive and professional! The layout of the hotel room is also very efficient and make good use of the available space. The daily morning kickstart (crossiant and soy milk) and daily evening social hour (complimentary wine) adds a unique touch to the hotel. Location is very good too. A few minutes walk from Zhongxiao Fuxing exit 3 and near alot of good restaurants. This will now be our go-to hotel everytime we visit Taipei! Do note that it's a boutique hotel with the toilet semi/partially open so it will be more suitable for couples instead. ^^
4.7
Amazingly competent and thoughtful service. Thank you!
4.7
Good quality boutique hotel, rooms nice, lobby warm. But too few elevators so every time long wait. The 2 elevators also used for service and staff not trained to make room for 1 or 2 customers to also ride elevator. Staff are friendly, but they should try to allow customers to share elevators instead of leaving luggage cart or clearing cart right in middle
