Wow! So spectacular. Breathtaking views. The staff were lovely and wonderfully solicitous. Marvelous decor. In a very posh, secure neighborhood. Very good food and fine drinks. Rooftop bar with little lap pool was very pleasant and again with very warm service. One beef: the bed was too firm for my tastes, and the pillows lumpy. The room could also use more hooks and a bit more seating.

Janiero was a well run property with an amazing staff. Every interaction was pleasant, friendly and accommodating. The room and amenities were much enjoyed. The food and beverages excellent. But it was the staff that made it exceptional.

The hotel is very detailed in every way. The rooms are very nice with great beds, great showers, and the decoration is a very contemporary, neutral with wood tones, modern and elegant similar to the 1Hotel in the Miami/NY. The food was also up to standards and the breakfast probably has one of the best views in Rio. The location of the hotel is also ideal with beachfront access as well as minutes away from the best restaurants in the city. The staff was all highly educated and add to the overall great experience.

The partial view was a great view!!! Loved my room and the whole staff! Julia de manager was wirking all the time. Love Lucia at breakfast and all the bartenders ans wait staff at rooftop!

The property seems to have been renovated. The view is great and the room spacious and modern. Charging for a expresso is an irritant, and I believe that power plugs should be adapted to US/European systems — this is an international hotel. The food at breakfast was innovative but mediocre in taste. The service was good.

Just a delightful hotel. Location and services were excellent. The modern design and decor were wonderful, but the staff made our stay exceptional. It was a hotel that was very hard to leave and I hope to spend good times here again.

This is a beautiful hotel and we had a lovely stay here. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating and the location was great, right on the beach in stunning Leblon. We loved the free bicycle rental too. It was so fun to take advantage of the beach front street being closed on the weekend to cars. We also appreciated the cookie/water and accompanying turn-down service. The rooftop has fantastic views and the small pool does too. Our only complaint was the lack of filtered water (not in plastic bottles) and fresh juices (only juices were in plastic bottles). If Janeiro can improve on sustainability/eliminate so many single-use plastics, it will be truly perfect!

Excellent and safe location to see all the Rio classic sights. Staff were great and the late check out free of charge was very much appreciated as we had a late flight back home. Roof top bar and pool was stunning, great views and a fantastic place to chill after a busy day sight seeing or on the beach.

Lovely hotel on beach. Excellent service etc. They said that somewhere in the fine print no children allowed, but it wasn’t clear. They would not let our grandson in the hotel or pool. Will have to find another hotel for future stays.

Beautiful boutique hotel. A bit overpriced for what you get, but still really nice.Its clear that they need to fine tune some of the "soft opening" kinks. And the walls could be thicker (can hear people outside the bedroom and walking in the rooms above).Location is awesome. And overall really beautiful.
