Had a terrible experience in the bar watching staff serve all the men around us, who arrived after we did, while ignoring us. I've never been so mad about treatment I received at a restaurant or bar anywhere. All women servers who were only interested in serving men.

Wonderful building and a very classy experience. The staff were good.
There was open-air lock up for our bikes which isn't ideal but at least they were round the back.
Lovely room though no USB outlets.
Breakfast was great and we were looking forward to dinner but the quail was undercooked and my dish wasn't hot enough. The waitress was very apologetic and tried to make it up to us. Apparently they were still trying to find a long-term chef. The rest of the meal was good.
The hotel isn't absolutely in the center of Utrecht but that wasn't too much of a problem. We were able to walk in even though I have mobility problems. (I had no problems in the hotel itself.)

We were disappointed by our stay at The Antony Hotel. The Anthony sells itself as a 4 star hotel and prices itself as such. We, therefore, had pretty high expectations for our stay. However, it currently can’t seem to get some of the basics right. Air con in some of the rooms doesn’t work properly (you can get it on for short bursts before an error message appears on the screen and it turns off). When we informed reception, we were simply told that this was known issue and were given a fan instead which is obviously not the same. The fridge in our room also didn’t work (light came on but it was hotter inside than out so obviously couldn’t keep anything cool). Despite mentioning this to reception on two separate occasions and asking for it to be fixed/ replaced no action was taken (at which point we gave up!). The hotel also provided a baby bed which was fine for our toddler but you wouldn’t want it for a baby as it had an ill-fitting, sloping mattress. And, finally, it’s worth noting that not all family rooms have the advertised (and pictured) separate seating area. Instead, some of them have a bed next to the seating area.
On the plus side, most of the staff were very friendly, especially the breakfast staff, and the breakfast itself was great.

I really enjoyed the hotel and the courtyard. Music would be nice. The food was excellent and so was the staff.
I rented a bike from the Dutch Republic and it was very reasonable. I could ride to and from the hotel and that was great.
Umbrellas would be nice to have available to borrow.

We didn't like that we have to change the room once, the tv didn't work, we didn't have the refrigerator in the room and at 8 in the morning the maintenance guy was hammering in front of our room...i will never come back in thos hotel!

I liked the atrium at the hotel, it was very nice to sit there.

Definitely a cute boutique hotel. However, the single rooms are extremely small. If you’re not good with tight spaces, this might not be for you. It was fine for me, since I didn’t have much to travel with!

Water pressure in the shower was a bit low

Nice stay, had a room in the basement so the ground floor windows was a little odd, but all the same, the solo rooms are bigger than they look on the photos and the courtyard is a really nice place to hang out and have a drink. Comfy bed, shower, and I got a drink coupon for my birthday which was nice :)

We arrived earlier than expected before check-in time, aiming to leave our luggage and visit Utrecht. The receptionist thought we wanted to enter the room and told us that the room was indeed ready to check-in, but the one we booked - a family room - had an issue. She clarified it had an issue with some light bulbs or an electrical switch not working and that the maintenance person was working on it. We decided to return to the hotel after visiting the city. We arrived at 5pm CET. The other receptionist issued the same problem and proposed to give us another "family" room. I asked about the differences, and she said there was no difference. But the new room was a double room adapted to be a family room. And it was dirty in the surroundings of the windows and over some furniture - very dusty and with an old spider web (I got photos!). No wardrobe to store our belongings during our stay. Super-small bathroom. My son, who suffers from allergy, had asthma due to the dust in the room and we could only manage to sleep by having my wife exchange her bed with him. I travel for business since 1996 and I never felt like I had to leave a review before. I hate their lack of transparency.

The staff were very good, competent and efficient. We enjoyed the area - a bit off the usual tourist route, lots of green space, canals and interesting restaurants. The apartment was good, but surprisingly there was only one toilet, in spite of the very large room that had shower and sinks. The restaurant was very good as well.

We had a great stay at the Anthony. Check in was seamless even though we arrived late into the night. Great courtyard and inner terrace for breakfast/drinks. They had a really fun set up for the Eurocup games. Really nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Everything was super clean and it’s a very unique building. Room was spacious and very comfortable for 3 people. Room had a really good coffee maker as well and kettle. Some great dining options (Turkish/Middle Eastern food) on the same road as the hotel.

fantastic staff. lovely outdoor seating facilities. very good breakfast. 12 minute walk from central train station on opposite side to town centre. bikes for hire. rooms a bit tired looking and needing some maintenance - door handle needed fixing when we arrived, TV not working in one room and fridge not in the other. loved sitting outside in the sun, and staff very accommodating and happy to store our luggage so we could enjoy all of our time at Utrecht.

The Hotel is nice. The Staff was exceptional. The young women who helped with check-in was extremely helpful. She gave us directions to the train station. The Staff sets this hotel apart

Nice room with a lot of space

Well designed interiors, clean room, comfy bed, fast WiFi, and friendly staff. Convenient location only a short walk from Utrecht station. We really liked the option to hire bikes directly from the hotel. Small negatives were the loud noises from motorbikes outside the hotel and poor drainage leading to unpleasant smells inside the bathroom during the evening. Overall would recommend to friends or family.

The pink presidential suite is a bucketlist priority for true romance.

Very nice hotel but a long walk from the center with few public transportation options. Loft is great but toilet on the lower floor is inconvenient.

Room ok, bedroom not much bigger than the bed and disapointed on teeny shower room for price though terrace was a big bonus. Would have appreciated some information about the hotel facilities in the room. No instruction about anything- oven was inpossible to workout! Not able to work out how to use. Very hot and inable to reset heating. No info on fire escapes etc. Kitchen facilities good though was missing basics like cups and spoons - asked twice but no materialised. A man let himself into our room on our first night using a key card. He said he had been staying there the day before and where was all his stuff! Would never stay there again for this reason. Gave us quite a scare.

This was a lovely hotel. The rooms were extremely small, however. There wasn’t even a place to put a closed suitcase.

Very cute hotel with a boutique-hotel vibe.
The rooms are lovely and the staff very friendly.
Breakfast could have been a bit more generous but apart from that 10/10

Where to start! It's potentially a nice hotel. I booked the Presidential Suite, sounds fancy!
I got a bottle of prosecco when I walked in, but than:
The room smells REALLY bad to sewer smell. I stayed 3 nights. The last night I just booked for 200 euro a extra room to sleep. I told them twice, but besides some air freshener they didn't do anything.
Next to that: Bed was only made, no clean sheet for 3 night. The bottle of wine from the first night (empty) they never cleaned up. Looked like they walked in, gave some clean towels, made the bed en left. It's a Presidential Suite! Just a waste of money

The staff of the hotel and the restaurant were great! Very cute hotel.

Room was smaller than expected but on the other hand it was all I needed. The pressure in the shower was a bit low and there is no curtain or anything between the shower and the toilet seat, so everything got very wet after each shower.
Besides from that it was all good, quiet neighborhood besides the church outside that rings once an hour during daytime.
Still, given the bit lower prices tham the rest I would stay here again. Nice with only 10 min walk to the central station.

The hotel was nice and generally as described/expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, we arrived to learn that the parking needed to be reserved in advance so we ended up having to park in a remote location. We had selected this hotel because the hotels.com page listed self-parking onsite, without indicating that a reservation was required. The property description needs to be corrected.

Beautiful property, excellent staff

Two rooms for three persons were clean and ok, although the other room was very small (this was most likely due to very last minute reservation and wish to have the two rooms next to each other). Hotel building is interesting and beautiful, and the personnell was very friendly.
2.5
Beautiful hotel with kind and attentive staff. Note if you’re in one of the apartments you are in the building next door (but still have access to the main hotel areas). The bar and courtyard are beautiful.
2.5
Cozy and elegant place 12 min walk from the train station
