Inside the property itself the stay was peaceful and nice. Spoke to the owner about not having coffee in the room and none on site, went to Costa the 2 days. Didn't opt for the meals at the property so no comment about that. Overall very nice room and informative host.

I stayed in the Love & Peace cottage. I initially was only staying a few days, but resulted in staying 3 weeks due to my father's health. Pat, the owner, was so welcoming and then so accommodating with the uncertainty of my length of stay. Going through a rollercoaster of emotions, Pat always made sure I was ok. The cottage was immensely clean. Facilities were suitable for a 3 week stay! It really did feel like a home from home when I came back from the hospital each day. If you give respect, peace & love, you get it returned in abundance. Thank you Pat. I will return, but hopefully in better circumstances ❤️

We were staying for one night as it was a convenient location but the accommodation was very poor. The advertising was for En-suite rooms but this was false and you have to share bathrooms and toilet. The cottage we stayed in was old, tired and badly maintained. These are advertised as homestay, because it does feel like you are in someone's house as opposed to a B&B. The owner was pleasant and helpful but it is better to stay at the Premier Inn even though it is double the price it is 10 times better.

Looked like a good place...host was very smiley and check in was good.no black out curtains in my bed room and sun shined in to room....i like to sleep very early and kept me awake....first night host called me woke me up and asked me to be ready to let people in....when i said im asleep she said just put door on latch had to get dressed and do that very unhappy...tv never worked properly....Honestly i felt the love but not peace...might be for some people but i work and need to be left alone.

Lovely friendly owner. One of us is allergic to dairy, and she provided alternatives for breakfast without a blink. Very comfortable bed. Quiet fellow-guests. Fairly basic continental breakfast, all nicely laid out for us.

When i read "fully functioning spa" I wasnt expecting to be staying in somebodys spare room in a rough housing area. Run by a nice helpful lady but there was no wifi, no tv in the room, no curtains. I booked late in the day, after reading all the glowing reviews but either those people are very easily pleased or Pat has been busy on her laptop. Wouldnt stay here again.

Unfortunately not at all as expected. Was told to change rooms to a shared bathroom one which meant having to change location...on the other side of town. To show me the way the manager asked to be driven there with me (10pm). On arrival this looks like a council town house. Clearly just trying to make a few bob using their own rooms and house. Breakfast was included which consisted of Weetabix in a storage jar. Having said no to milk the night before meant I didn't have milk for breakfast. Left as fast as I could. The free parking meant on the road somewhere which wasn't particularly a safe place. Although the manager was nice enough do not stay. Do NOT stay.
