Big thanks to the manager, Yvan. Without him, we would be totally lost. He managed our tuk-tuk transportation to Panajachel and ordered our trips with a travel agency. Otherwise, unfortunately, I was disappointed. We bought the room/jurt because of the Lake Atitlan view promised in the description. Our room didn't have ANY view of Lake Atitlan!!! The place is not within walking distance from the city of Panajachel. Get ready to pay extra money for each transportation to the town and back. I understood it was a rustic area, but the room wasn't worth the money we paid.

We had a great 4 night stay at Jenna’s. Our room was small but comfortable and very clean and the view was amazing. We used the restaurant every night because we had been out all day and didn’t want to go out again to eat, but it was fine and the staff was so lovely. I’d totally recommend Jenna’s!

First… you cannot get a better view it is gorgeous. The staff are wonderful and helpful. That being said… our yurt did not have screens on the windows and the room had to fans or AC of any kind. We went to the local appliance shop and bought one. Some of our windows did not lock and there was no safe so that was sketchy. The food is okay but not the best.

Here is my honest feedback the good and the bad. I was absolutely excited to stay in this property seeing the photos online. When arriving the first thing I noticed was the view. The staff member was very kind when we checked in and gave us a map and contacted a tuk tuk for us as this property you can not get to Panajachel actual hot spots unless you get in a tuk tuk which is 20 q for one person or multiple 15 q per ride.
Now let’s get into what turned this into a horrible experience. Our bedroom was not clean at all! I am honestly not even a complaining type of person and the first night I texted if their would be cleaning service as I gave the benefit of the doubt. That is until I woke up to bugs in my bed, a black scorpion spider in the tub, and on the ceiling light a thick spider web that you can tell has been there forever.
We stayed up all night killing bugs. One day we were coughing so much from the dust and bugs that we ended up feeling sick and not going into town. The cleaning service came and she was in and out the room in less than 5 minutes and the tub still had dead mosquitos and bugs. I’m very disappointed also eventhough 15 q is cheap if added up having to go back and forth as for a couple it was 30 q each time.
The breakfast was good but the same everyday for the included option. Coffee, beans, fruit, eggs, tortillas.
They had pancakes etc option but that was 65 q if you wanted.
The room walls are thin you can hear everyone’s convos nearby.

Jenna’s B n B is a special place on the outskirts of Panajachel. If you like rustic, eclectic and scenic spots this will work for you. The food they serve is superb and the manager, Ivan, and staff are not only good at what they do, they are wonderful people!! I had a lovely stay.

Loved being away from Panajachel near nature, birds and beautiful view of lake. Food is excellent!! Staff, especially Yvan are helpful and truly love serving their guests.

There are 92 steps to access the property. This information should be included in the hotel bio.and 3 levels down from that is the pool which was dirty. The property is beautiful but very disappointed in access to it.

We enjoyed our stay however we did not realize it was similiar to glamping and wasn’t prepared for all the loud bugs while we sleeping. And crawling all over us with the added heat and no fan in the room made for a long night. I should mention I absolutely love camping and glamping on a normal planned and prepared weekend with fans, citronella candles and tons of bug spray But this was a weekend getaway with my husband not prepared for camping and the heat.

This is a lovely place to stay; very friendly atmosphere, warm vibe, easy to engage with other people. In a lush environment. Meals are excellent.

lovely venue. Great views. Accommodation was as expected for a yurt. Very acceptable. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

We loved the owl yurt for its view and privacy. Listening to the birds in the morning was our favorite part. The staff was so nice and patient despite our poor Spanish. They helped arrange transport around town and to Guatemala City.

The view here is great and Yvan the manager was ever so helpful in helping us navigate the lake and set up excursions. He helped us arrange a village tour by tuk tuk, paragliding and a sunrise hike at Indian Nose!
Unfortunately, the rooms were not as clean as we would have liked and the dinner service was disappointing (food lacked flavor, servers were not attentive/kind and this was the priciest meal in our entire trip). The breakfast was much better, though.
P.S. the entire property shares 1 hair dryer. I learned the hard way! :)

I couldn't have asked for a better view of the lake! This hotel also offers a generous breakfast included, a restaurant where you can eat until 8 PM, Tuktuk service, and organized tours. There's also a small library where you can borrow books. My room had a very comfortable bed and a bathtub with a window overlooking the lake. The only thing missing are curtains to darken the sunlight that enters at dawn and to ensure more privacy. Definitely recommended.

We have a great time views staff and breakfast were excellent however mattress could use an upgrade, doors should have a shade for privacy also for the sunlight, a better mirror the one in our bathroom you can barely see yourself there’s a lot of stairs so keep that in mind

Staff was amazing and responsive. We arrived late with a last minute reservation and they were very helpful and accommodating. Dinner and bar service was excellent. Breakfast with a view was exceptional, try the French toast!

Really good stay, the views are amazing and the yurts are very well decorated. Dont worry about it being slightly out of Panajachel; a tuk tuk driver is always 10 mins away so there's no delay.
The only issue we had was that our payment cards wouldnt work (we were then told this is because we only had debit cards and required a credit card to pay). This resulted in us having to get a large amount of quetzales out in panajachel. However, i imagine for most this isn't an issue ad thry have a functioning credit card.

I wish I had a lot more time to spend at this property and in the Lake Atitlan area. What an absolutely beautiful place that is a hidden gem! I was in awe with the lake and the property and the views. I am very well-traveled and thought I had seen all the beauty on this Earth I could see but then I discovered Lake Atitlan and it was like being in a fantasyland! I highly recommend.

Nice property with great view, no access to the lake, though. Only 1 breakfast option included in B&B rate, every day the same. Other options (yoghurt, etc.chargeable and very pricey, same as all restaurant menu). Outside the town, but accessible easily by tuk tuk. Rooms have bathtub from which you can enjoy the view. Staff very helpful and accessible. Rooms and amenitites a bit outdated, but functional. I find this place to be on expensive side as per local standards.

A beautiful setting. Incredible views over Lake Atitlan. Lush garden of flowers, and birds everywhere. Yvan, the manager, is very knowledgeable about the area and Guatemala and is extremely helpful. He helped us to organize private transport around Pana and back to Antigua. The restaurant serves wonderful food. All in all, a magical place to stay, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The property is a gorgeous place with the most beautiful garden and lake view. The staff are super nice and helpful. I forgot my backpack on the boat from San Juan to Panajachel. Yvan, the owner did everything he could and got it back to me. It is just an amazing experience! The breakfast is a plus!

Two friendly kittens and a wonderful breakfast and coffee. You cannot beat the views from the room and the pool was relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The room itself could've used a fan, but other than that it was a wonderful stay.

First of all, I want to share that the property manager, Yvann, is amazing at what he does, and has one of the most pleasant and helpful personalities I've met in my travels through Lake Atitlan. He made sure to answer all questions and book transportation needed at different moments. Having said that, the hotel is a bit out of the way and has very thin walls for you light sleepers. You will start hearing roosters, dogs and traffic at 5AM VERY loudly and also hear all your neighbors' conversations, including when they cough, sneeze or use the toilet. On top of that, there's an AirB&B next door that hosts parties every so often and felt they were in my bathroom until The views of the lake are amazing and I loved the soaking tub. There is no A/C in the rooms but there I a breeze that comes in if you leave your doors open, just have mosquito spray ready. The restaurant and breakfast experience was my favorite. Dinner menu is pricey. There is a daily happy hour and sitting area for that. You need to be able to go up & down several flights of stairs to stay here. Pool was dirty and not swimmable. There is no direct access to the lake from here. Area is not walkable. Ok for a short stay (1-2 nights) for couples that need to rest and not do much and don't mind noisy evenings.

A bit pricey. Better food available elsewhere. Jose was (staff member) was very helpful.

Jenna checks ALL the boxes… privacy in your own yurt style room, community in provided breakfast and available incredible dinner and bar in the evening. The food was all fresh and the kitchen was the one of every entertainers dreams. Beds were comfortable and the down comforter was toasty (which was important because it gets cold at night). We were surprised to find there was also a pool at the base of the property. And of course you are overlooking the beautiful lake on ever level. My only caution is there are 207 steps from entrance gate to the very bottom where the pool is. We were about in the middle but got a good bit of exercise. Will go again ASAP.

Fabulous views of the lake. Loved having a drink at the bar enjoying the views. Delicious breakfast. Very helpful staff. They organised transport and a trip for us.

It could have been a great hotel but it is not clean. Our sheets were dirty. It was really cold and no way to get extra blankets. Staff did not arrive until 7:45 am to begin breakfast. As a tourist, it is important to get an early start to the day. We were locked in without access to management until 7:45.

Great stay. Experienced a mini earthquake there which was pretty cool. Had dinner at the restaurant there and it was the most expensive meal I had in my 8 day trip so be prepared to pay. Cool place, would return!

Jenna’s is a great property with awesome views! The staff is friendly and helpful. The internet is not the greatest and phone signal is weak. If you’re looking to disconnect, this is the place!

Jenna’s River B&B was overall a good place to stop for a couple of days on the way to/from Antigua, Xela, or as a base to the other towns on Lake Atitlan. The property is situated outside of Panajachel and a 1/2 mi road winds down to the town and importantly to the marina (30Q for Tuk-Tuk). The staff at Jenna’s, Ivan and Claudia, are fantastic and very helpful. The ladies in the kitchen definitely know what they are doing. If you don’t know how to get somewhere, they will help including telling you what prices are reasonable. Great food! The view from the restaurant/bar is spectacular. If you are looking for a secluded and relaxing place with excellent service, this is a great option.

The good part of the hotel is the view, on the other side you have to take on count that you will find many stairs and there is nobody to help you with the luggage. The rooms don't have the best equipment in terms of curtains, blankets, pillows and care. It is a good hotel if you are just passing by.

Jenna’s B&B was such a wonderful place to stay! Gorgeous view from the property, super friendly staff, always helpful. Really loved our stay there. It is a little bit out of the city center but only a fee minutes by tuk tuk.

Jenna’s Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with a great view of the lake. It’s you don’t want to be in the middle of the craziness of the town this is where you want to be in Panajachel. Ivan and Jenna are great hosts. Thank you.
