It was great. I had a layover in the Solomon Islands that required a night stay and throughly enjoyed my time at the hotel and airport shuttle. I would recommend to anyone. Good food/restaurant, spent the morning before my flight at the pool and water lounge chairs and found the staff accommodating and helpful.

Great place to stay for a work trip.

Stops looking, this is where you want to book. We had the unexpected pleasure to spend an extra week in the Solomon Islands. There's limited lodging in the city, this is by far your best value. Four-star is pretty accurate, there is some minor room maintenance that could help. The five-star hotel nearby is unaffordable and the three-star looks it. And where this hotel shines, is the very attentive, friendly staff. Plus two good restaurants on site, a pool, an amazing activities concierge (Francis!) For the somewhat rough city you are in one of the safer areas, we felt safe walking nearby. I highly recommend if you're in town that this is one of the best places to go.

First the positive, the staff are very nice and friendly. The room was clean but the bathroom could have been cleaner. The shower head was so clogged there was only a trickle of water coming down, but to their credit when I complained the hotel fixed it right away. There is no complimentary water in the room, one must buy it at the restaurant for US$2 equivalent for 1.5l. Wi-Fi is weak, and it is only included in the room for 3 days. After the 3 days you must buy additional GB at high price (or buy from the telecom company and use your cellphone as hotspot). The beach and the waterfront is generally dirty and the water is not very attractive, probably due to the activity on the wharf next door. The pool was not open to the public during my stay, no explanation given, just a sign. The ‘’buffet’’ breakfast (not included in the room) is quite expensive and frankly not very good.

Standard not living up to the price. It is worn and in need of renovation. We had breakfast for only one person, the other one was asked to pay - but the brakfast was not worth paying for. WiFi should be free, but was severely limited, so we had to pay for most of it - something we have not seen anywhere else in the world for at least 20 years.
If the price had been half it would have been ok.

I asked the half day tour. That was amazing. Compared to other countries, the price is more expensive here.

Centrally located and has a wonderful staff.

The worst hotel ever… Dirty moldy bathrooms, bugs, floor of unit dirty, old beds, outdated bathroom with all types of stains, bad room with direct view of parking lot and busy, noisy street. Free internet is charged after 500MB(3 days). Basically we checked out 2 nights early and buyer new tickets not to be there…

The staff is wonderful and friendly and helpful. Some of the rooms are very dated. Food quality was not very good, although they really tried.

Dirty beach, slow service. Only decent service were the gents working the bar.

Thr rooms need serious renovation, especially the toilets

Friday’s night party in the hotel lasted until 2am. It was not possible to sleep with the music blasting so late.

Beautiful lobby and grounds but rooms very basic and spartan with uncomfortable mattresses, no drinking water, mimimal decor.

Not a fan. Staff very friendly but room was very ordinary.

Location was good, but pool water was green and filthy. Rooms were not very clean. Chaise by pool so old and dirty could not sit on them. Gave you very limited wifi usage and then had to pay. The place needs an overhaul. Shoreline in front of hotel was littered with trash and debris, wouldn't think of getting in the ocean water there. Hopefully they will be able to bring this hotel up to their previous standards. For now I suggest stay away. Never tried the food, with how dirty everything else was, didn't want to take the chance.

Rooms were clean and the air conditioning was effective. Water pressure was also good. Wi-Fi was very poor. The hotels two restaurants were ok but overpriced - breakfast was the best option. Service was friendly but more responsive than proactive. This hotel is better than most others in Honiara and I would stay here again.

I can't say there was anything really good about the property. It needs a really good cleanup - tiles falling out and not replaced; place smelt very damp (and I know it is a humid climate); the sheets were yellow with age; the shower was horrid and just the general decor was so old and worn and smelly. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.

The executive rooms are very good. However some areas of the property are showing their age and could do with an uplift, especially the rooms in the West wing. This is not that apparent when booking via the web site.Service is uniformly friendly and relaxed.

The hotel is dated and needs to be refurbished if they expect guest to pay the prices being charged. The main restaurant meals are below standard the only saving grace is the Japanese restaurant.

Stayed here only for two nights but pretty sure I got bed bugs from here. The room was very dated and the bathroom was dirty. There are very limited options in Honiara so Ill have to go back to stay here. Next time Ill bring bed bug spray.

Considering where we are the rooms were nice. Staff could react a bit faster when the AC goes out or a wing has no hot water. Food at the main dining hall was good. Delivery at the Japanese location was very slow but the food was good.

Horrible place, terrible stay...
Room old, wet and stinky. Old dirty blankets on beds. Bathrom in disrepair, shower leaking all over the place.
Pool unusable and covered by green slug and murky.
Internet very poor constantly dropping in and out.
Person doing the eggs for breakfast was the most unfriendly waitress I ever saw.
Terrible mistake staying at this place and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Small things count. Only one towel in the room, but one extra was delivered promptly when requested. No hair dryer in room.

Leaky toilet, dodgy sound on TV, wouldn’t allow late checkout past 12pm despite offering to pay, airport shuttle bus unavailable, tired and 3 star at best

Was pretty comfortable stay, people that work there seem nice and the food there is reasonable , but aircons could be regularly serviced, wifi could be better and it would be better if breakfast could be included in that price!!
