Arrived to find I couldn't get in, despite the given door code...and no staff anywhere to help. Phoned the helpline to be told the door was broken but I could access the hotel through the restaurant next door..but had to wait an hour til it opened!! Room was very spartan..no fridge, no safe..not even a bottle of water for what was not a cheap priced room. Would not recommend and won't be using this hotel chain again despite its location close to the station.

Didn't receive the check-in information before 48 hours. Was locked out of the hotel. Couldn't access/use the wifi. Room was different from the picture.

The room on 4th floor was nice although extremely hot. The elevator was broken. The taxi could not find the place because the GPS address sends to a dead end with constructions.

I had to walk 4F up with my suite case with my injured ankle, since Elevator was out of order. I was told that it was elevator had been broken for a good while, but they only told me just before my arrival. I asked them to move my room to lower level but they refused and instead told me to cancel the booking if I can't walk up 4F. There was no other hotel nearby so I had no choice but accept it and climb 4F up with my suite case with my injured ankle. This place doesn't care anything about customer. They just want to do the very minimum. On top of that, there were more than 150 crazy homeless drug addicts screaming outside throughout the night and I felt very unsafe. I don't recommend this place at all.

This is a comfortable hotel. Spacious bathroom. Clean. Decent size room. Only thing missing was no air conditioning (it was a particularly hot day when I was there). Location could not be any better - right by station. Check in is via machine which gives out the key card.

It was partially also Expedias fault as I didn't receive the book code email but it was rather sent to a system email of Expedia!!

Hotel suitable for those who warm to the concept of an IT-based hotel without personnel present. To me personally this is off-putting and also impacts my perception of the price/quality ratio. The quality of the room itself is above-usual, spacious, good materials. Parking is not obvious and not for free. The railway station is nearby, which can be a practical advantage; trains can be heard but did not disturb our sleep.

Usually stay at this fine and cozy hotel, it's so clean with a very welcoming and helpful staff. The hotel Herting is close to the regional train station and a few steps away from a very nice and long shopping street

Steps from the train station. Very clean. Unfortunately, our morning train departed before the buffet breakfast opened at 8:00. (It was a Saturday. Apparently, breakfast starts at 7:00 on weekdays.) However, the lovely person who checked us in was a “problem solver” and prepared “lunch sacks” for us to take with us on the train. This was most appreciated!! We would definitely stay there again.
