The square is noisy and tourists are everywhere. There was no table or chairs set on the balcony like in the pictures. There is no lobby and the desk is unmanned for most of the evening. There is no breakfast because there is no kitchen, so the guest must go downstairs to eat or drink. The contents of the fridge are free, which is more generous that other hotels. It is an exciting city, and the hotel is very clean. The one thing that was uncomfortable was the shower and toilet facilities, which are in the front of the room and behind clear glass. There is virtually no privacy in the bathroom. And there is no parking near the hotel. It is underground about 1/4 mile away and spaces are at a premium and the parking is tight. Plenty of eating choices on the plaza and around it. The lights come on at night and the plaza is beautiful.

Right in the centre of the old town, our welcome email was very helpful in directing us to parking nearby. (Note: tight parking spaces so not for large vehicles). The room was right above the main plaza with late revellers and while the windows were almost sound proofed, I used ear plugs as I am a light sleeper. The entry door is unremarkable and a little like trying to find Harry Potter’s platform but once located was discreet and accessible with a lift to the first floor.

We had a room overlooking the square. Staff very helpful, room well equipped. I would not class it luxury as it's really more a first floor hotel with no facilities. But great place to be in the centre.

The hotel is a fantastic little hotel. But, the bathroom is a little strange. The walls are all see through glass, so it’s a little awkward if you’re traveling with anybody. Loved the balcony overlooking the plaza. Good food options close by. Easy walk to anything if interest. Would stay again despite the odd bathroom set up.

The staff were amazing from the comms in the run up to our seamless arrival. I was already so excited about the room facing on to the (incredible!!!) Plaza Mayor (absolutely gorgeous), but upon arrival we were upgraded to a crazy amazing suite that blew our minds. The 2x balconies, spa shower with cool lighting, insanely comfortable bed, and wine on hand for purchase right in our room made the trip so, so perfect. This boutique hotel prides itself on service, comfort, and luxury, and it can be secure in knowing that they’ve nailed all three! Sincerest thanks to the wonderful staff - I will 100% stay here again when back in Salamanca. What an absolute treat!

We loved our stay here. The location was perfect with our room overlooking the Plaza Mayor. If privacy is an issue, this may not be the right room for everyone, but we did enjoy sitting watching the world go by below. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. At night with the windows closed it was reasonably quiet inside. The staff were always friendly and helpful and we appreciated their little thank you gift of a bottle of bubbly which we drank while sitting In the window looking out over the square on a lovely sunny evening. Just outside the main door there were hundreds of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops and lots more within a few minutes walk. We will have lovely memories of our stay in Salamanca and stay here again if we came back.

This truly was one of the most beautiful, small boutique type hotels we’ve experienced in years.Blanca , Javier and Paloma All were very, very kind. Excellent. I wish many hotels had people hired like these three. We would definitely be returning, especially considering the kindness of the staff and by the way, the housekeeping was perfect.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Salamanca at Salamanca Luxury Plaza hotel. The location cannot be beat! It is in the main square (Plaza Mayor). The hotel is only 5-10 min for any of Salamanca's amazing historical attractions. Additionally, the hotel and staff were absolutely great during our stay. We were lucky enough to be in Salamanca for the Three Kings Festival and see the beautiful parade from our hotel. We will certainly be back to this hotel when we come back to Salamanca!

We stayed at this hotel in the heart of plaza mayor and it was perfecto choice for us (couple). The rooms are luxurious and had all modern amenities, the views of the plaza were amazing, we couldn’t get enough of it!! We chose this place to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it felt very nice because of the amenities of hotel, and access to so many options for food and shopping once you step outside. The tourist sites were all nearby and I appreciated their minibar in the room. The staff were very friendly and helped keep our luggage after we checked out because our train to Madrid was in the evening. Taxis are easy to get from near by stand when going to train/bus station. I would recommend and stay at this place again because of the friendly staff and luxurious room/amenities.

incredible. They helped us with directions, metro sites, restaurants and even called us a taxi and walked us there. Free drinks in the fridge and always willing to give you more bottled water. The room was exceptionally clean and we enjoyed a cafe latte overlooking the hustle and bustle of the plaza. Highly recommend this restaurant! The staff was wonderful and kind!

It is an amazing, unique experience to have a balcony over the Plaza Mayor of Salamanca and to people watch in this historic setting, as well as have the occasional concert. The rooms are very well-appointed and modern and the hotel staff is delightful. Plus, it was so great to use a code for access and skip getting our room key out. So worth it!!!

The view from our balcony room was one that we will never forget. At night, the Plaza below was lit up nicely, gorgeous and busy with locals and tourists dining out. The room and bathroom were spacious and were clean. The front desk was staffed until late hours and gave us excellent advice on what to visit and where to dine. I only wish we could have planned on staying a few more days in Salamanca.
