Room was clean, comfortable, well-maintained and reasonably priced. A/C worked, elevator was fast, food was good. Laundry service was quick. Room phone often didn't work, so couldn't call front desk, housekeeping, or room service. Great view from rooftop pool. Location was just a block from the beach.

We loved our hotel and the receptionist, Kate, was very helpful in giving directions and suggestions on fun things to do - especially the huge Son Tra night market next to the Dragon Bridge! We highly recommend!! The neighborhood was great for walking- in the middle of everything and one block from the beach.

3rd time I have stayed here I upgraded my room for very little price, close to everything like restaurants, shops, spas, but most importantly the beach is a 45 second walk. This is my go to place in Danang staff and hotel are excellent, roof top pool is great with a fantastic view. Rooftop bar and restaurant are also really good and never crowded

Close to the beach, restaurants and bars, everything one needs is in walking distance. Nice roof pool with great view. The room was very well cleaned every day. Friendly staff. Special thanks to Mateo, Kelly and Ruby for the excellent service in the breakfast lounge and the pool bar 😊

It was actually quite a strange initial check-in when we arrived on a rainy day. No one came to assist to help carry the bags into the hotel, even the taxi driver said to me “I don’t think this is a good hotel”. However as we continued on into the stay things got a little better as the staff seem to warm up a little bit. Overall the hotel definitely seems a little dated was a reasonable size and decent location. I think this hotel provides reasonable value however I would not be rushing back to stay here again, wasn’t great, wasn’t bad, was just okay

Hotel is very near My Khe beach , just 3 minutes by walk in. There're a lot of restaurants, mini mart, coffee shop ... around the hotel. Room is clean and enough amenities for us. Bar and swimming pool on the top floor with sea view, the staff always smiles when they meet us. We will come back next time.

Our stay at Sunny was disappointing considering the good reviews it had. We got a king bed room which ended up being two full beds and bedframes in a bed sheet. It means that if you have the misfortune to stray towards the middle, you will be laying on the bedframe edges. As the room wasn't designed for a "king" bed, the outlets, light switches and AC control were inconveniently located also in the middle of the bed. The staff was friendly but the service was also lackuster. When we asked for extra pillows as there were only two in the room, the pillows were unceremoniously dumped on the reception desk to be brought up by ourselves. The cleanliness standards were also poor. For example, the two elevators were very dirty and full of stains and the provided slippers had brown feet stains on them. All in all, our experience at Sunny made each return to the hotel quite bitter after walking past the array of much better looking hotels close by and in the same price range.

Wonderful stay from start to finish. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was huge and the beds were comfortable. The room is clean and well furnished. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options and changed every morning. I didn’t use the pool but the view from the pool is great. There is also a small gym with a treadmill. Could definitely recommend this place. Especially since it’s a 5min walk to the beach

This hotel is conveniently located to get to the beach but is not overlooking the beach. You have to walk no more than five minutes. All in all it is a good structure but it would have to revise some parts. The gym area is not well maintained and the pool should be repaired where the tiles have come off. Cleaning is not always done carefully. I had to urge the cleaning of my room daily. The staff is friendly and very polite. Breakfast is limited to the same things. There is not much variety. I missed the sweet part of breakfast, like cakes or croissants. Little fruit.

Great, cheap, clean, I don’t like rooftop pools which this hotel had, went up once for a quick swim, not a very nice area, pool water was clean but this is the only positive, very small area and unkept, dirty three pool lounges only, area needs painting and basically a make over

4 night stay in room with partial sea view. While the room was very cheap and the staff at the reception desk were brilliant (helped us with tour booking)- this wasn’t anywhere near 4* it was very noisy all night. Breakfast was ok. Location was great. Spa was authentic.

What a gem of a hotel. My family of 5 (3 being children) really enjoyed the ammenities. The rooftop pool was great and what a view of the city and the beach. The staff were more than happy to help out whenever needed. The buffet breakfast was a nice change as it gave options for western and VN food. The beach is super close being only a 2min walk. You'll need to bring some money if you want to buy some snacks or drinks and rent a shaded chaise (well worth the money to stay out of the sun). If you have an adventuresome soul you can pay to go parasailing, boogieboarding and surfing. Body surfing was awesome and free. The only thing that was not good was the room service for food. It took about 1.5hrs to get our food order. We would mormally eat out but we were so tired and exhausted we couldn't leave the room. Plenty of great seafood around the hotel!

We stayed at Sunny Ocean for three weeks, and it was absolutely amazing! All of the staff members were very friendly and helpful, and we felt very welcome there. The hotel has a great location, and the receptionist staff helped us find everything we wanted to see, from My Sonh to a hairdresser. The spa and massages were really great! The perfect solution for swollen airplane feet and achy backs! Highly recommended! The tours from the hotel were really fun and interesting, both with and without guides, because they have a great taxi service. We really recommend doing the tours, because we did them all:) We would like to thank Kelly for giving us such great service (and lovely drinks🍹)at the sky bar, John for always greeting us with a smile at the door when we came and left, Mateo for making sure that we had everything we needed, if it was at breakfast, in the sky bar or heading out to the beach, and Ben for being an amazing tour guide with profound historical knowledge. A very special thanks to the front office manager, Henry. He was extraordinary, and thanks to him we were able to do all we wanted and more. He was always giving good tips and recommendations, and he really went the extra mile to answer all our questions! In short, if you are planning to go to Da Nang, we highly recommend Sunny Ocean if you are looking for an authentic experience!

Everything was handled extremely well from the moment of entry to the moment of exit. Staff were delightful, particularly enjoyed meeting Matteo in the restaurant and Henry at the front desk. Location is The ocean main entrance with access to all other points in city. This is a full service shop with a spa, restaurant, lovely breakfast buffet, Desk support, Drivers, cleaning and laundry, etc. and we really couldn’t have asked for more. And are very satisfied.

Staff were excellent !!! They help ensure a fantastic stay. Henry was flexible with our check out time & helped with our airport transportation. He was so sweet wanted us there earlier-he was worried for us ( miss flight) John helped us stay hydrated. Always have a smile when I ask for ice Mateo got our food ready on arrival as we came late (missed a day of stay)
