This hotel was the first location that we saw in Havan, It is more like a BB location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was nice. As I wrote, the staff was great, the bed was comfortable. The problem was there was no seat on the toilet stool, the wifi connection was bad, you needed to be in the rooms close to the lobby to get a connection. and the area of the hotel is very poor with a bad smell.

This is a wonderful place, just as on the pictures and in the description. But what made ist special are the people working there. Especially Camila and Pedro are so caring and read every wish from the eyes.
The place is very clean, delicious breakfast, lovely interior, WiFi and the area around is safe and has amazing restaurants and Salsa schools just around the corner. I would love to come back again!

Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience here. An issue with a taxi booking ended on a bad note (and was very expensive for us to fix!).
We felt the property was very safe - kept locked at all times, and always someone on reception.
A good location in Central Havana, however if you are only in Havana for a couple of days, it would be best to stay in Old Havana.

It was a nice stay, but way too overpriced for its location compared to other options. Staff was nice and the place looked good but it was the most expensive place we stayed and many others had better amenities. Area is not that great, specially at night.

This is a charming and safe house, nearly 100 years old, located in an accessible part of Havana. A few steps away from the Malecon and dining gems La Guarida and Michifu. We were able to get to Old Havana, central Havana and part of Vedado (such as Hotel Nacional) easily on foot.
We stayed in Room 4 (double room on ground floor with Queen size bed). The mattress was firm and comfortable, and the pillows were good. The furniture was so cute and reminded me of my grandparents house. We liked the high ceiling in our room and how cool the room stayed even when it was very hot outside. The AC and ceiling fan were efficient. The water pressure in the bathroom was good.
The breakfast (fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs, fresh juice and coffee) was enough to start the day right.
Most of the staff were pleasant and nice to interact with. My favorite (and most fluent in English) was Taimy, she is lovely and so friendly!
Whoever is managing the Expedia account provided an excellent experience with fast and informative responses. Jorge kindly helped us with a late checkout - luckily, this was possible as we had a late flight out of Havana that day.
We wanted to explore Havana and live the experience to the max. We were not interested in staying in a tourist bubble. The casa is in central Havana in a neighborhood where regular Cubans live. The neighborhood is lively, and the streets are not pristine (typical of much of Havana). We always felt safe, even walking at night.

Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Safe and clean place to stay.

Good location at the central habana. Clean and spacious rooms. Helpful, kind and friendly staff. The decoration and the design of the hotel was very traditional. Small garden within and the lobby was good for socializing.

the picture looks good and the interior of the place is quite good, but the design of the hotel is so bad so the noize at the night kept me awake whole night which cause my health condition worse (i was totally sick for my second day at the hotel). Addition to that, our bed(twin room) was just too small and the base was not stable which we couldn't even turn around. If i was not sick, we definitely moved to the other place but i was too weak to move. I'm afraid we cannot recommend this place to anyone. (though 1 worker was kind enough to offered me the drink. ) They should change the door against the noise at least.
