Newish and clean. I would have given it a higher rating, but I needed to use my computer for 4-5 hours and there was no desk chair. A/C was loud but worked OK. Staff apparently not on duty full time, maybe because it is so small.

While the outside looks like an old Ma-andPa motel, the rooms have been beautifully redecorated and impeccably clean. The restaurant was closed the evening we stayed, but its location directly on the river can't be beat.

We had to book last minute, and we were grateful for the accommodation. But the walls were thin and we could hear people partying on both sides of us until 3am. Not a place to bring family or to chill.

We booked The Gator Den last minute and we were not disappointed. The front desk staff was very nice and very helpful. The room was filled with clean towels and was very clean! The only thing that I was upset with is the bar/restaurant is closed on Wednesdays! Other than that it was a great stay!

Very nice room. Super clean, and appears to have just been remodeled. Entire motel was spotless, and well maintained.

Great place! Rooms just got redone so they are great! Service was so top notch! Boat rentals there and we fished off the dock and caught a bunch of fish. They were there the whole time to help us! Stay here if you are in the area!

The room was amazing, so clean and had everything we needed. Love, love that they had a keurig in the room. Microwave and small refrigerator! We there for a Wedding and was concerned that it was close to the road, no worries slept like a baby. I do recommend they need blackout curtains! Would definitely stay there again

This is a small gem. Parking was right but there is a space for each room. Convenient bar and restaurant attached. You can rent a boat or a slip. Personal is friendly and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about this stay.

We stayed one night. We are building in close by Citrus Springs, so we stay frequently, and have always been satisfied. This time there were bugs all over the room, and it was not as clean as usual. Apparently there were bed bugs. I suffered for a week with bites appearing daily(which apparently is how these bites present). I had many sleepless nights because of this and have never experienced anything like it. I reached out to the property with no response from them. I was extremely disappointed, because we had always loved staying at the property. I WOULD NEVER EAT OR STAY THERE AGAIN.

Very friendly staff, the adjoining restaurant was very good and your right on the river. Close to kayak launches and easy to get in and out of parking lot. Very clean and quiet even though it is right off the hwy. I would definitely stay again.

Really nice motel - very clean, updated and comfortable rooms. We were worried about traffic noise with the location right along the road but it wasn’t bad at all. Staff were super friendly and accommodating- restaurant beside motel had great food and atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!

What a unique experience. They had actual motel keys! The rooms were very clean and suprisingly modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

It took forever to find the place! There is no sign that's visible from the road. I drove by the motel 3 times and had to ask several people to find the place! Also, the website said it was just north of the Rainbow River. That
wrong! It's just north of some other river--but not the Rainbow River.
The room had no chairs in it. We had to specifically ask to get a chair because there was no place to sit--except for the bed. Also, no carpeting anywhere on the floors, so mud was carried in with no place to wipe dirty shoes..;..

An employee there did their best to assist us
The owner "on vacation" declined to allow us to check out ...so we left...had to pay the room fee there AND ANOTHER HOTEL!

Family owned very friendly and professional. Restaurant was an adorable tiki bar with friendly staff and wonderful food.

From the check in to check out everything was amazing. The staff are just incredible. The restaurant is very nice and scenic.
