A wonderful hotel with lots of elegance and charm. The hotel's property is beautiful, the staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were excellent as well. My dinner in their restaurant was outstanding. I look forward to returning to Stonehaven Le Manoir n the future.

Service was great, place was awesome. Food as disappointing although it is a relais&chateaux and the chef comes highly recommended, the display was very nice but the taste was neutral. It didn’t taste as good as it looks. Too bad

This is a remarkable property, if like me you love antiques you will be amazed ! The few flaws: no makeup mirrors and no mirrors to look at our outfits before leaving our room. No hooks for the bathroom towels or to hang our bathing suits to dry. In itself the sink is in a very small area so this was impractical. No information on how to reach the reception using their room telephone. In case of emergency this becomes a liability, and a nonsense when we simply want to reach the reception. There are only two chargers for electric cars, so we need to move the car for others to use. We were in the new building. Yet the food, property and staff are excellent. And it truly is a beautiful property, inside out.

Great stay with unparalleled customer service. The staff is extremely attentive, facilities are clean and well maintained, beautiful landscaping and fabulous dining.
Only downside I would mention is that our room was very small with no mini-fridge. Otherwise an amazing stay!

Majestic setting overlooking beautiful lake with unique history, recently extensively renovated with 19th century furnishings. Staff highly trained and attentive with daily tour of the premises, well connected with activity offerings in the region. Dining is exceptional but expensive, with busy clientele from even distant places. This is a very special resort experience.

Extremely family friendly staff.

Let's start with the positive: the food here is exceptional and the dining staff is excellent. Five stars to the dining room. Beyond that I was disappointed. My queen room was small but had a lovely view. However the bathroom sink was so tiny that when I bent over to wash my face my forehead was hitting the above-sink shelf. It was awkward and unnecessary as the bathroom was big enough for a regular size sink fixture. There was no in-room coffee/tea machine, nor was there any elsewhere in the building except in the restaurants. The Guide says there's Nespresso in the salon mornings, but I checked this morning--nada. I wanted to take my morning brew and go sit outside in the beautiful grounds and enjoy nature. They serve tea/coffee in pots in the Bar at 3 pm, but there are no light pastries like a croissant or muffin. The Bar menu had meals. Tea with hummus in the pm? I declined. I drove to town and got a chai and a cookie and brought it back to eat in my comfy lawn chair on the front lawn with the lake view. The pool is small but the gardens are beautiful. I really wanted to go back in the fall but not having these small comforts available at a high end property may send me elsewhere.

A perfect location for our Anniversary celebration

Very poor quality of sleep during 2 nights because of a recurring vibration coming from the wall. Informed front-desk but situation was not corrected. Offered ear plugs for the night which was definitely not an answer we were expecting.

The missing star is for the lack of coffee machine in our room, no night table on the right side of the bed, and a mini fridge would have been nice. The rest was perfect, very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to get in and park. I think it's worth the price. Also Ste Agathe village minutes away with the beach and food is a big plus. See you again.

What a hotel, wonderful experience. Rooms were as good as you could imagine, spacious and luxurious. The grounds were lovely and the scenery fantastic. The staff were amazing, going above and beyond to make your experience the best from when you arrive to check out. Dining was lovely, very nice food for both dinner and breakfast. Would definitely visit again.

Wonderful get away and ambiance. Staff, location, grounds, facilities, food, history were all wonderful. The "tourbillon" was great - even on a chilly rainy day.
Two minor issues
Getting the propane heaters going would help.
There is little adequate light for bedside reading in the room.

The Inn is absolutely beautiful but the lasting impression is from the staff who not only provide impeccable service but provide it with such care and kindness. In addition to the outstanding service, you can look forward to fabulous French food. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, hiking trails, Hamman sauna and massages at the spa.

Alot of bang for your money. Tastefully authentic decor from 1900's, exceptional staff bend over backwards to assist with any and every request. Bonus: relaxing outdoor Hottub, sauna, pool, hammam steam room...all impeccably clean. A hidden oasis in the laurentians.
