Everything about The Inn at 411 York is wonderful. You are greeted with Prosecco, the room is gorgeous, staff is amazing. Loved the bed and shower. Nice to have breakfast. What was tough was the outside city noises with the tram that had a horn that would go off and the traffic sounds. The other is if you like a dark room, the room is not dark. My husband and I were super comfortable in the bed but woke up all night long due to the noise and the brightness of the room. Highly recommend updating windows and maybe curtains that help darken the room for sleeping. We did love the charm, but if we stayed again we would try a room not facing the street.

We had a lovely stay at the inn! Our hostess (Caroline) was delightful and made us feel right at home :-) The owner (Malia) was gracious and accommodated my request for some keto-friendly nibbles after our drive up from Charleston, SC. We were only in Norfolk for one night (so I could get my global entry interview) but the inn turned the quick trip from a chore to a pleasure! The room (Hague) was nicely appointed and filled with thoughtful extras (iPhone charging clock, high end toiletries/linens, and bountiful complimentary snack bar). We would definitely book the inn again if we return to Norfolk.

Beautiful old home luxuriously restored and modernized. The adjacent 411 restaurant was excellent. Free amenities and an excellent starter breakfast included in the overall cost. The staff was extremely courteous and always offering to help with luggage, recommendations for touring, etc. Somewhat out of the control of the 411 team is the location of the Inn next to a busy street. Modern windows minimize external noise, but internally, we 'enjoyed' the neighbors above us - every step could be heard as they moved around their suite. Overall excellent experience!

The staff was absolutely amazing. So helpful in every aspect. Will definitely be back and recommend anyone heading to Norfolk to make this their first choice for a hotel.

If you want to feel like royalty and home away from home, the Inn at Four Eleven York is fantastic!

First class service and fantastic breakfast. We were in the room facing the main road which provided a nice view, but also exposed us to some traffic noise. The bed and bedding were amazing and the large bathroom was like something you'd find in a magazine.

Like many places we have stayed this year the smell of perfumed disinfectant was overwhelming. We had a lovely suite . The only downside it was facing the trolley. So a little noisy but it is a city room. Otherwise it was located centrally to all we wanted. Nice place.

We stopped at this bed and breakfast for one night to breakup a trip. It was perfect. The staff was so helpful and nice. We had the whole third floor and no one complained about walking up and down to bring us a glas of Prosecco or breakfast. Lovely decor and a comfortable bed and awesome shower.

Location excellent for the Chrysler Museum and downtown activities, and close to the light rail line. Completely refurbished. Only concern for some might be that all rooms are on second and third floors without elevator.

My husband and I had a phenomenal stay at 411 York for our 40th Anniversary. The Inn is clean and updated with high end finishes throughout. We were warmly greeted by the owner Malia and Innkeeper Tijuana after giving them our eta and choice of housekeeping services earlier in the day by text and email. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious and beautifully decorated. There is a nook with 2 comfy chairs and a table, heated bathroom floors, individual HVAC and a fireplace. We chose breakfast selections to be brought to our room in the AM. Additionally, we were brought glasses of Prosecco to celebrate at check-in. We had happy hour on the patio with drink specials and ordered a thoughtfully selected charcuterie board. We were able to take our second drink back upstairs while we got ready for dinner later in the dining room. There are snacks and sodas/mixers in the room gratis with alcohol at an additional charge. Our meal in the dining room next door was exquisite with perfectly prepared dishes and a nice quiet ambiance. The waitstaff were friendly, available and attentive without being overbearing. There is parking available about a block away, but we were able to park in front of the Inn since our stay was a Sunday night. Attention to detail was obvious both in the Inn and dining venue. The front rooms over look the city street, so if you are sensitive to light and sound, plan appropriately.

I loved everything about my stay at The Inn at Four Eleven York. Malia and staff were very responsive while communicating via text about our expected time of arrival and during check-in. The design elements throughout the room were beautiful. I appreciated the heated floors in the bathroom and the shower was amazing. Breakfast was delicious.

Very quaint and elegant... It does not look anything like the photos..My fiance parked in their designated parking in which she specifically told him to park only for his car to be towed and we had to spend $155 to get it out that was absolutely the worse part of our weekend

My fiancé and I had an amazing trip to the four eleven York. We stayed in the back room I think it was called the free mason. There was a stocked bar cart with free non alcoholic drinks and snacks as well as a keurig. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve slept on in a while. The rainfall shower was really nice and the bathroom was super updated with heated floors we could control. The inn was personal (inn keeper texted about arrival time, level of service preferred and what we would like for breakfast in bed and what time) but wasn’t uncomfortable like some inns I’ve been to where they wait up for you or make it feel awkward. We also did happy hour at their restaurant patio which had nice fire pits and good social distancing! It was the absolute perfect level of attentive service and a very cozy and romantic getaway! The breakfast included was delicious!

Honestly a delightful stay...I was on business but felt like I was on vacation. The innkeeper was great and the restaurant next door that is a part of the inn was first class. Will make sure to stay again! Highly recommend.

Very Very Clean the service was excellent they even let us check in an hour early. Would highly recommend even if you are not a bed and breakfast type it’s private and worth it!!

Overall great experience and I’d love to stay again!
