This inn is a hidden gem. Nice and clean and the views of Denali and the sunset over the water were magnificent. It is the perfect place to see the northern lights

Refused our stay with a registered DOT service dog saying they do not let dogs in of any kind or size. Didn't want to argue because there were not a lot of options in town. slept half the night in the car and the next night stayed with a friend who lives in town.

One night stay passing thru to Anchorage. End of the season in September, not a lot going on in town. Our room was very small but clean and comfy for the night.

The property was next to a huge river, which was just awesome! Property was small, as advertised but was clean. No TV in room, which was fine for me, but not sure I read this would be missing. Can hear others but hotel provided earplugs in rooms, just in case. Within walking distance of shops/eateries which was a plus:) would stay again!

This was a cute little place, clean and very friendly staff. Next to the river, taking stroll early morning or at 2AM under the star filled sky was quite an experience. Walked to the restaurants. would like to come back.

Good amenities and games like Cornhole horseshoes badminton. Walk out back for views of the Alaska range and Denali if you're lucky. Convenient walk to downtown shopping and restaurants.

Booked this location on short notice due to a canceled flight and needed an accomodation for the night. Quiet location by the river. Staff very friendly. Although the room was small, it certainly accomodated our needs for a short term stay. The grounds were well manicured and outdoor seating was available to enjoy watching the river roll by or just breathing the clean, fresh air. There were outdoor games available and a wide assortment of items to purchase for breakfast or for a snack during the day. Would not hesitate to book again.

Totally misrepresented condition of rooms on website. No tv???!!!! Wifi wouldn't work in rooms even though staff said it should. Had to argue to get extra towels.

Nice area. Took over an hour to get it but bartender did work to get us in. It wouldn't work. She reprogrammed it several times but had to get another to replace batteries at 02:00 am to get it to work.

Don’t stay here. It’s unsafe. Lock on door didn’t work, anyone could come in. Shower only had drops of scolding hot water. The only window was to the dark hallway. Walls very thin, can hear everything in the room next door. Comforter had a stain on it. Floor dirty under the bed. It looked like a closet converted into a bedroom. The room had a bad smell made my eyes burn.

We liked this a lot. It reminded me of cottages on lakes when I was young. Great setting next to Talkeetna River and great view of Denali on clear day when walk to river. We enjoyed this inn more than other "fancier" places in Alaska.

Excellent in everything! Very clean, cozy,, comfy beds, plenty of hot water for showers, easy and quick check in/out. Staff was great and helpful. Property was more than expected. There are lawn chairs, picnic tables, lawn games to play, fire to make at night, free coffee in morning. This hotel is 1 block from town and 100 yards for the best view of Denali!! Stay was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

No frills. It’s a bed, a shower, and a place to park. Good enough for the price and location. Beautiful riverfront property, walkable to main street and friendly staff. Bring ear plugs and a sleep mask. The on site bar has reasonable prices and seems to be where many locals go. They had $5 dinners during the week to raise money for the town’s NYE fireworks.

Everything about this place was awesome. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for a stroll into town or just a nice morning walk. It's an older place but very quaint. My only suggestion is, if you have alot of luggage don't book the room with the single queen bed. It's very small and there isn't much room to spread out. But you can't beat the view of the river right in the back yard! Unfortunately the weather didn't give us a view of Denali but I understand she showed her face the day after we left. If I return to Talkeetna this is where I will stay!
