Arriving after a long drive from a week of camping and hiking in northern Newfoundland, we were amazed to find the Hew and Draw. It was startlingly stylish and incredibly comfortable. Two things we loved in particular were the french press coffeemaker in the room and the adjacent microbewery, Boomstick, where we had an excellent IPA and a tasty meal. We highly recommend Hew and Draw: loved it!

The hotel is in a great location. The room was great. The bedding was ripped but it was at the bottom of the bed so it didn’t bother us. The hot tubs are a great option. Would have been great if there was a divider between them for more privacy. Rooftop patio is great. Food was a little too eclectic for us so we didn’t eat there for supper. We did have breakfast the day we left. Food was good but service was a little slow and it wasn’t a busy day. But those are all small things. We had a great stay and would def stay again.

Awesome hotel, the TVs are insanely hard to manage, when 3 rooms housing 3 generations of people can not figure it out and actually need to go to the desk to get them to fix them it is a little insane. Rooms were amazing restaurant service left a lot to be desired but it was a great stay.

Clean. Modern. Good Location. Breakfast food wasn’t good. Dinner was good. Hotel service good. Restaurant service not so good. We chose to eat elsewhere, which was disappointing given it’s a very nice atmosphere but the menu and service need upgrades. Walking trails near by were enjoyable.

The restaurant was amazing. Supper was superb. The atmosphere was great. Breakfast was the best I've experienced with a hotel stay. The hot tub area was great, a privacy wall between the 2 tubs would have been ideal. The building and rooms were perfect. Microwave would be convenient. Staff were fabulous at hotel and restaurant.

This hotel has become our "landing place" in Newfoundland for the past several years, as it is close to Deer Lake airport (YDF). The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. For those with allergies, please keep in mind that this hotel is pet friendly. The restaurant next door (also a brewery) offers a decent variety of food for supper, and the breakfast (usually included in the hotel stay) also offers a decent variety, and it is good. We've had a couple of times where parking was a bit limited and we had to wait around or go down the block to park, not a big deal unless it is raining. The Gros Morne coffee that is in the rooms is great. We look forward to staying here the next time we land in Newfoundland.

This was one of our most comfortable stays, especially bedwise, in ALL of our travels! We were also delighted with our 3rd/top floor room location and charming rooftop view across the town. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed complete with nice linens and high-end finishes throughout the space.
