Very nice stay here. The best part was the young people working at the front desk and bar -- very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and, importantly, the air-conditioning worked really well. The breakfast was one of the most generous I've seen at a hotel, but was also a bit pricey. The only two downsides are 1) there is no kettle in the room -- I prefer to have my coffee while reading before dressing for breakfast, so this was pretty annoying 2) the carpet in the hallways was FILTHY -- there was obvious dirty and chunks that didn't get vacuumed up the who time I was there in addition to stains that are going to require shampooing to remove. The beautiful blue couches in the lobby are also quite dirty with spills that have not been cleaned off.

Location is only a 5 minute walk from the train station in Oberhausen. Room was clean. Bed very comfortable. Very quiet environment. Hot shower was a big plus. We are here for the European Soccer Tournament so it was nice that we were able to watch games in our room.

Room was spacious, but could have done with a small kitchenette. Beds were comfy and temperature good although the thermostat doesnt work. It was quiet in the area, the parking garage was very narrow and very small park spaces so be careful if you drive. €10 per day for parking isn't bad.

Went there in June because of GIFA Expo in Dusseldorf. Book only if transiting this area as Oberhausen is not a great place to stay. Limiited choice of Cafes and Restros nearby. Liked Salvator (Italian) Cafe nearby. Hotel Rooms were big and clean and so were the bathrooms. Huge room size which i never saw in Europe. Self Service hotel with minimal interaction with the front desk. Breakfast is also decent and Scrambled eggs is the only hot dish available. Cold cuts were amazing. View from the room was super boring. Good Budget B&B types hotel.

No douchegel and hand wash soap available in the room, only an empty bottle douchegel. We arrived late in the evening (around 11.45 p.m), and it was too late and tired (after a long trip) to go back to reception. Very inconvenient evening for us. This shouldn't happen in a room reserved for new guest.

Travelling for personal reasons, the location was ideal for me, with short walking distances. The conversion of the building into a hotel seems to have been a great success, providing very comfortable accomodation.

Kind staff, pretty and modern hotel. A nice welcome in the room, with the option to make coffee with the little Krups machine or boil water for tea. After COVID they will also offer a water bottle. Very happy with the airco that could be set in each part of the suite as it was 35C outside. Little daylight with the mini windows. Not a lot of artificial lighting either. So good to be there in the evening hours. They will give you a €200 fine if they catch you smoking. We never smoked, so no issue, but it’s strange to find cigarettes in a chair behind a cushion and under the bed. Very easy system to park in the adjacent garage and pay with your room bill. There’s a ‘park’ right across the entrance of the hotel with some trees and a small playground. We were happy overal, so we will return.
