Good location, but pretty average cheap accommodation in a hostel. I had a private room which was quite large and reasonably clean, it took a long time to check in though. Air conditioning worked well. If you just need a place to sleep & shower this would be fine.

Wasn't as described, broken lamp, bathroom light didn't work, patches on ceilings, noisy, along main road and bar underneath

Hotels being VERY expensive in Noumea I was very happy to find this hotel which offered dormitory accommodations for a reasonable price. I was surprised how nice this hotel was and how friendly the staff was and I would like to congratulate Louise and Rose who are doing a very good job. I stayed in a 3 beds room, 2 nights with a sweet Japanese woman, she left and for the last night I was alone. There is a spectacular kitchen where you can cook about everything. A supermarket (Casino) is in walking distance, the public bus stops right next to the hotel and the magnificent Lemon Beach is very close. Some people might complain about the noise of the dancing club on Friday and Saturday but it really did not bother me. The rooms are air conditioned and I had a good WiFi connection.

The nightclub in the hotel is Thursday, Friday and Saturday extremely loud. Even with earplugs it is impossible to sleep, the bed was vibrating because of the music. The staff was several times pretty unfriendly. If I wouldn’t have booked the hotel already between my travels, I would not stayed a second time. Specially when I checked in the third time, it was 10 am and I was not aloud to check in before 3 pm even the hotel was completely empty!! The lady confirmed that my room is ready, but still can’t get in. I was also asked to leave the lobby because I can only be there 1 hour pre check in!! Wtf?!?! It was rainy, where was I supposed to go?I went to another hotel down the street and it was no problem to check in at 10:30 am! Went back to get my bag and had to justify myself why I am not staying afterall she aloud me to stay in the lobby but I rather pay more and stay at a different hotel we’re I feel welcome and can enjoy the quiet!!
