Wonderful family, and so helpful, trustworthy and friendly.
Great location and a clean and comfortable room.
Highly recommended, we are staying again!

Property is in a great location in old Havana. The property was excellent for the price and the staff are amazing and made our trip. They were extremely helpful with advice on food and finding things to see and do. I stayed there with my 14yr old son and they really made our trip with help on any language barrier issues. We felt very safe there and with the area. I would definitely go there again.

Maria, host & family were so very kind & helpful, Maria makes best Cuban coffee. 5 min walk from Plaza Vieja and close to other local amenities.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostal. The hosts could not have been lovelier people. Staying here made my trip to Cuba that much more special. I enjoyed arriving at her place at the end of my day and sitting around chatting about life in Cuba and listening to their feedback on places to go. The property itself was quiet, comfortable, clean and felt safe.

Had a very welcoming and friendly stay, the price/quality ratio is good and you are in the middle of Havana close to everything.

This casa was a perfect location in old Havana, very close to the Plaza Vieja and great for just wandering agound and taking in the city. The balcony is a good place to sit and watch people go by. Maria is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had breakfast there which was great. We stayed there at the beginning of our holiday and booked it again for our return to Havana at the end.

The Casa Perticular was easy enough to find.
When going up the stairs I did wonder what I was letting myself in for. Whoever, when reaching the apartment, whilst being basic was clean and homely.
Filtered water is freely available.
The room had air con and a fan. No frills or other luxuries except for the fridge located in the bathroom.
Breakfast was juice, cheese toastie, fruit and coffee Julio apologised there were no eggs etc (cuban economy).
Julio was a great host and was his daughter who made me feel very welcome.
His sister-in law, whilst not speaking much English (is any) also made me feel welcome and we managed to communicate in a unorthodox manner with a snake on her face.
I would recommend to anyone who wishes to experience the ‘real’ side of Havana.
