We had a beautiful one bedroom suite at the Peridot Grand. Yes, it is a luxury hotel. The entrance is grand and the lobby has beautiful decor. There are 4 reception desks so checking in and out was quick. Our room was spacious with a gorgeous marble bathroom. We loved the rooftop Skybar with an incredible view and great drinks. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of Western and Asian options. The hotel is very centrally located in the old Quarter of Hanoi and we walked everywhere. We highly recommend staying here!

Staff was amazing, each and every single person we met was polite, attentive, friendly, and efficient. Our room was spacious, the bed and pillows were glorious! Breakfast selection was plentiful and delicious. Location was good and though in a busy area, we couldn’t hear any noise in our room. Very nice lobby and bar, welcome drinks and a towel was very much welcomed and needed. Learned about Vietnamese gin at the bar which was a nice treat. Little touches are missing such as lotion in communal restrooms (i.e., bar, spa, etc) which you would expect to find in luxury restaurants, hotels, etc. Hotel could be more eco-friendly and move away from little plastic bottles of amenities. Looked under the mini bar for my car which fell and discovered it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time and found peanuts, a spray bottle, disposed contact lenses, and few centimeters of dust. Disappointing but easily fixable and I wouldn’t write this place off. I made the front desk aware and they were horrified and very apologetic. I very much think this will be rectified immediately with the room cleaned, other rooms inspected to ensure they are clean, and staff spoken to, training reinforced. Overall I do recommend.

The hotel prepared a honeymoon decoration before our arrival which was a very special gesture from them, we also recommend the Spa, it was a great experience. Hotel location is great and the restaurant on the 10th floor is also very good, a must try.

Loved everything about this hotel. The service received was over and beyond, the staff couldn’t do enough for you. They were very attentive at all times. After breakfast they escorted you to the lift and took the time to ask about your plans for the day as they saw you off. We were allowed to store our luggage as we were going on a halong bay cruise for two days, on our return we were told we could use the shower facilities and swimming pool at no extra cost. Our luggage was taken to the spa area ready for us. This hotel and service is of an extremely high standard.

Fantastic boutique hotel right in the heart of the old quarter. Lots of hustle and bustle outside, but calm and tranquil in. Transfer from the airport was perfect, the team in the hotel cannot do enough for you, and all round great value for an upscale hotel. Breakfast is on point too. Would defo recommend. 10/10

We had a fabulous stay at the Peridot. All the staff were wonderful. The rooftop patio is absolutely stunning. We had cocktails there every evening and watched the sunset. Thanks to Helen, Quinn and Lucy and all the staff

Exceptional service and no stress whatsoever from the team. They’re polite and respectful and efficient, speak English. And the breakfast was exceptional and lots of varieties and choices. Homemade coconut wine and passion fruits jam were excellent. And they home baked gluten free bread for my husband. Celebrated my mum 78 years old birthday and the staff were very attentive to the details. Best hotel we’ve stayed in Hanoi. Food in the restaurant was delicious. And the hotel isn’t by the road which is an added bonus as it’s quiet. And the infinity pool was amazing. They’ve their own hotel-airport transfer in comfort and luxury with just around USD 24.00. An amazing experience overall!!

Top notch service. Hotel was beautiful. Staff was friendly and attentive. We utilized the airport pickup and drop off service. The driver was waiting for us upon arrival. An absolutely stunning hotel, located in the heart of the old quarter. You can't see the hotel from the street, so it's a lovely surprise to walk through an archway and into such a spectacular and peaceful hotel. Being tucked away also means that you are less affected by traffic noise than most hotels in the Old Quarter. There are lots of cafes, restaurants and spas within walking distance, and Phung Hung Train St is a 5-10 minute walk away. The Phung Hung St murals are also nearby and worth looking at. Every aspect of the hotel was beautifully decorated, and our room (junior suite) was extremely well presented and comfortable. The rooftop infinity pool was a delight and there are comfortable sun loungers; there is also an indoor jacuzzi which is available free of charge (down the stairs from the pool). The breakfast buffet was excellent with loads of Western and Asian choices, and some fabulous fresh juices and fresh baked croissants and pain au chocolat. My only minor grumbles would be that the spa and rooftop bar prices are significantly higher than local prices. E.g. 100,000 VND for a can of local beer, compared to 25-30,000 in nearby bars and restaurants. A fabulous hotel - would definitely stay here again.

I genuinely had the best experience staying at Peridot Grand Luxury Hotel. Amazing staff, very high attention to detail when it comes to service. Great breakfast, attentive and personable staff. It was my honeymoon, they took exceptional care for me and my wife. They had the bed decorated in a lovely way and we kept getting these little surprises (like a cake during breakfast, etc). If you want to experience what a 5 star hotel really feels like, you have found the right place. Could even find a thing wrong with my experience. Great great great hotel. I will be back for sure

A fantastic hotel in a very convenient location. Easy walk to all main attractions. It’s Vietnam so there’s good options everywhere. The stag was lovely and helpful. Amazing hotel right in the centre of the old Quarter. The staff are so friendly and helpful they honestly can’t do enough for you, the customer service is some of the best I’ve experienced from a hotel. They arranged our airport transport and excursions before we arrived all of which were really good. The hotel facilities are really good, we used the gym and pool daily and the spa to have a massage which was amazing. The rooms were a good size and clean. Breakfast was also included which was good with a large selection to choose from. This hotel was recommended to us by friends and we shall definitely be recommending it to anyone visiting Hanoi.
