Mattress was in very bad condition, Bed was very bad over all and I didn’t like the fact that we needed to take ours shoes off every time we get in the building.
2.0
The ad was fraudulent - no spa, no gym, no views (except from the lobby.). We booked a “family house”. It was two blocks away from the main building. It was in a very noisy neighborhood. There were lights on at night outside the house with very flimsy curtains. Between the dogs barking, the drunks yelling and the bright lights glaring in our bedroom, we got no sleep at all. When we asked to speak to the manager, all we received were “maybe later” messages. We checked out after one night - We are working with our credit card to get a refund. Expedia was no help at all in this regard. I am certain that no one will ever see this review.

We had a great stay at Villa Alejandro while in Boquete. We loved our suite. The grounds are beautifully surrounded by a lush garden. We enjoyed drinking our coffee on the balcony, where we could hear the sounds of the river and birds, with views of the mountains. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Villa Alejandro

First, this is a great location. We were able to talk around town very easily and there was a grassy area near the main building where we could park.
We stayed in one of the little house-like buildings. Overall it was clean and set up great for anyone who might be having an extended stay. The only thing was that at night it wasn't a very dark room and as soon as the sun is up there was a lot of light. One side is just a wall of window and unfortunately the curtains were not very good at blocking out the light. I had a sleeping mask so I was fine, but this might be good to keep in mind for anyone who needs a really dark room to sleep.

Gorgeous, conveniently located, clean and all the staff was great. We loved every minute of staying at the villa. Just a few minutes walk to restaurants and the main plaza. Clean and comfortable room, and a shared kitchen with all the amenities. Looking forward to staying there again.

Very clean, homey and inviting. A beautiful facility.

Great view, private, great shower, grounds are beautiful, the deck is as shown in the picture(very nice with a great view). I was here in the rainy season, so you can hear the stream as a steady sound. When the rains come in the afternoon it’s runs pretty quickly. I like the location as it is a little out of town and quiet. Not on a busy street. Would stay again

Beautiful house. The room in the shared house was quite small, with a tiny private bathroom. Overall, very clean. Shared areas were very nice. Staff was great!

The good: Conveniently located, very tranquil setting, and comfortable beds.
The not so great: WiFi was slow and the place needs updating and maintenance, and more forks lol.

Fantastic view location, colourful hummingbirds on site, lush gardens. Clean comfy well appointed room, staff are super. They have four properties here we would stay at any of them. Staying at the first one we tried last week again. Best of Boquete don’t hesitate to book with them.

We loved the property, especially the staff was so friendly, and helpful in every way. We just had a barking dog in the neighborhood kept us awake a bit, but that's not the hotel's fault. The bed was not very comfortable for my liking.

Friendly staff, great communication. We were there during the flower festival and very loud music from the town played until 4am the first night. The next night the music didn't go on past midnight. Then the next 2 nights it was quiet. I guess the loud nights are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and especially during flower festival. The room was okay, but felt more like a hostal. They have casitas but we were in a room. It's like a house with entry, common sitting area, kitchen and our room was right next to all of that so we heard everything in the house. The staff are in the main part of the house from about 8am-6pm so we saw and heard them during that time. They require shoes off so needed to carry shoes outside before putting them on.

Communication was good and when we arrived the room was clean and ready.

Great location easy to get to town by walking.

The casita was lovely and quite comfortable. We had a couple of minor issues like a light bulb out. It was replaced very quickly. The staff is excellent no matter who is on duty. They could answer all questions, responded quickly if we needed something, contacted a very good, safe taxi driver for us. They made our stay very pleasant. We will return and stay here.

Easy check in, the staff was extremely friendly, and they ensured we were well aware of expectations upfront. When we return to Boquete, we will stay at Villa Alejandro again.

The views from the outdoor (shared) terrace was absolutely stunning. We had it to ourselves each time we sat out there. We loved the location- it was 3 blocks off the main street in Boquette, so it was quiet and peaceful, but still very walkable to everything in town. The staff was wonderful, especially Abdul. He helped us with anything we needed. He even arranged for a cab to pick us up for an early flight on a Sunday. We cant wait to return for another stay!

If you are looking for a nice place to relax and rest, this is not the place, it’s really not worth it. The Suite Baru in Villa Alejandro is not isolated at all, you will hear dogs barking all night long as if they were in your room. Also the pictures are not representative of the reality. The balcony is next to the parking, So in addition to the dogs, you will hear the cars and people talking loudly early in the morning (6am). They have a silence policy until 8am, but their employees don’t respect it and speak loudly while (arroser) the plants next to your room (not isolated!) at 7:15am. We were unfortunately very happy to leave that place!

The staff gets 5 stars while the room quality and the deceiving and inaccurate description of the room gets 1 star: average of 3.
When we checked in at 3pm the floor was dirty and cleaned in front of us. The bathroom looked dingy but we were told those were hard water stains.
Kudos to the photographer who took pictures of the room! Deception at its best! The pics fail to show the wet bar in the honeymoon suite, which is not only an useless eyesore but also utterly disgusting as that sink was not cleaned in ages. The view is beautiful indeed, but a pic closer to the window would also show the roofs of the town not just the beautiful tree tops. The flooring is not beautiful and shining, but spotted, squeaking, and with holes between planks.
The bathroom sink is stained and chipped.
The bed is described online as having Tempur-Pedic mattress and Egyptian cotton sheets: this is what ticked the most as both are bogus. The mattress is a standard box spring that has passed its prime. The sheets are low count thin cotton.
Similar to other reviewers, is the thing about paying for towels that you stain: you stain a towel, you must pay for a whole set.
Coffee, fridge, and a fully equipped kitchen are available downstairs in the common area. Whatever you use, you must wash & put away
Room service is available upon request only.
Laundry services are available on the premises: $7.5 small load & $15 larger load.
The staff was very nice and helpful!

We enjoyed our stay at the property, the staff was great, the gardens were beautiful, and our casita was very comfortable. It was nice to be within walking distance to the main city centre. We would recommend

Weather was perfect. Love the location. Easy to walk to the Main Street and to get around. People are very friendly.

I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my stay in Casita 3. The casita is a modern open plan studio apartment. The room itself was spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The comfortable king-size bed, smart TV, closet, and fully equipped kitchenette were all great amenities that added to the overall feeling of luxury and comfort. The private bathroom was also well-appointed and provided all the necessary amenities.
One of the highlights of my stay was the spectacular views from the terrace balcony. The sunny terrace overlooked the splendid Boquete valley and provided breathtaking panoramic views that were truly unforgettable. It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the stunning scenery.
The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Overall, I would highly recommend Casita 3 to anyone looking for a spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed accommodation in the Boquete area. The spectacular views from the terrace balcony, unique touches in the room, and the friendly and accommodating hotel staff all make this cabin a standout choice for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Boquete.

Beautiful location and property. Just two blocks from the main action yet very quite.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Honeymoon suite. (A quick vacay without the kids). The back balcony was home to many hummingbirds. We were greeted by full double rainbow over the property. The room was super comfortable and clean. Perfect little kitchen. They gave us slippers and robes to use as well. It was a short walk to town. We happened to accidentally be there for the yearly Boquete Flores Festival and that was such a special treat. We also walked a 1km up the hill to the Adventure park area that had beautiful views along the way. We highly recommend this location. We frequently come to Boquete for Costa Rica border runs, and we would definitely stay here again.

It was a nice place. Easy to walk to places. People very helpful. Shower stall was a bit slippery while showering.

The receptionist, Vivian, was awesome. My complaint is the room I was in. Room three is small and noisy (by the stairs and kitchen).

This property was amazingly beautiful and well-kept. I loved the room and the surrounding gardens.

Beautiful villa, with full-time staff. Everything is within walking distance, especially the central bus area, and the kitchen is well-equipped. We had some issues with hot water, but we learned on our final day that it's because you're only supposed to turn the water on a tiny bit. (Speak to the staff and they'll be able to fix it for you!) I would stay there again if I'm in Boquete.

Very clean and great location! Easy walk to restaurants and grocery store. We had a refrigerator and microwave in our room which was great for our week long stay. The television was a smart TV with free Netflix and YouTube. Only drawback was the bed was not very comfortable.
