Really cool boutique hotel. Great decor, beautiful room. Got upgraded to a suite. Staff very amazing, went above and beyond to assist us from check-in to check -out.

Upon arrival, was underwhelmed by the staff…not very friendly or welcoming. When we saw our room which was a “garden view” I was shocked to see what looked like a war zone…there was no garden view to be seen. Called the reception three times yet phone kept disconnecting every time they answered. Finally someone came up to our room to ask if everything was ok, I shared my disappointment and was told they agreed with the lack of view and would try to find a different room. We were moved to the first floor which was no better but were promised a better room the next night. Needless to say, we did not sleep in what felt like a dungeon room but were moved to the fourth floor for night number two. This room was better but were surprised that no one asked us about our room etc. We asked for directions to the port and the staff were not exactly warm or helpful. The room smelled musty, especially the bathroom! On our final night, we called down to the reception to ask if they had a scale to weigh luggage and were told they would call back to let us know. No one called back! When we checked out this morning, we were asked to pay for the city tax and that was it…the service and lack of professionalism at this hotel was extremely disappointing!!

The location was excellent with great dining, shopping, and attractions near by. The staff were all fantastic with any assistance we asked for. The restaurant and bar onsite are both wonderful. Our room had a balcony overlooking the outside space that was a nice added bonus.

Funky hotel in great area, away from really touristy part but close enough to walk to everything. We saw this hotel recommended on a travel blog and it was definitely a good recommendation. We arrived early and a room was ready but the guy who welcomed us advised us to wait for the room we had been allocated as it was better. He asked for a priority check in and saud they would call if this was possible. We freshened up and headed out for the day. Early check in didnt happen but it was no issue as we had plans for the day. Room was great, a little warm when we arrived as curtains were open and a/c was not turned on so it took us a while to cool the room down as it was a very hot day. Nice balcony overlooking the pool garden which was.a really unique feature. Grest shower which didnt steam the whole room up which is always a bonus! We were staying 3 nights so space was fine but if it was part of a longer trip and we had more luggage it would have been a little tricky for hanging space in particular. Lovely big bed, very comfortable and very large towels which we love. Staff were all great, really helpful, offering information etc. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice, all very good quality and really nicely presented with regular replenishment. Hot options were more limited but still really nice and high standard for buffet breakfast.

The location was perfect, lots of restaurants and beautiful things to see in the area but the room was always quiet and staff always friendly. The hotel had a unique theme and charm which added whimsy. The breakfast was a little disappointing as it was the same thing every day and often they were out of some of the main/hot dishes. I was never told where to sit but twice was told to move after I had already sat down but wasn’t helped in moving my plates and cups. Otherwise my stay was wonderful. I felt safe and the hotel was very clean!

I stayed at Chic & Basic Gravity for 3 nights as a solo traveller and had a wonderful time! The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful & welcoming. The location of the hotel is perfect/walkable to everything, it's spotlessly clean, modern and the breakfast was plentiful. I can't wait to return and highly recommend Chic & Basic Gravity. The people who work at the hotel are all very friendly. The breakfast is super, the room is quite large and the shower was fantastic. Beds were also perfect. The location of the hotel is close to shops and restaurants. The only thing that bothered us a bit was the noise that came from the pub nearby.

Appreciated the friendly staff, willing to sit down and help us plan our sightseeing or recommend a great sunset spot. We enjoyed the cute bar in the lobby and had a really great pizza one night when we were too tired to venture outside the property.

Up and coming neighborhood with lots of evening activity. Staff was very helpful and friendly The bedding and towels were the best! The internet allowed casting from my phone (i connected my amazon prime) to the room tv. Great place to stay!

This hotel was a great choice for us! The entire staff was super friendly and accommodating.Down to the detail of bringing sparkling wine and raisins to our room on New Year’s eve.The room was very basic but at the same time met all of our needs. The bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet in-spite of being close to the elevators.Definitely will recommend as per the location was excellent as well.

Chic hotel, awesome deco and amenities. Walking distance to centre, well connected with airport and tren station. Friendly and helpful staff. Free merienda and welcome drink. Nice prices and food. Couple of bars and restaurants right outside, but quiet inside (soundproof). Recommend you to book a room with balcony :) Highly recommended.

Great hotel, within walking distance to metro (trinidade) and city centre. Hotel has a fantastic deco, friendly staff and some rooms have a cute little balcony. Highly recommended!
