The owners did such a great job renovating this motel! I really appreciated all the small touches - there were plenty of outlets available for charging devices, they provided ear plugs if you were bothered by the road noise (I was not - I did not find it that loud at all), and I loved that they had large bottles of soaps in the bathroom to be more eco-friendly. For a one night stay, I have nothing to complain about and would recommend this place to anyone!

This was an overnight stay on our way to Canada. Even though it was a small motel it was so nicely decorated and in a beautiful setting. I loved our stay here!

Really clean and well renovated property! Great amenities and again, SUPER clean!! The location is not near restaurants, but is near a gas station for basics. The train and highway nearby was the only negative. But I would definitely stay here again!!

Very beautiful rooms and super friendly staff. The only downside is the loud road and train. They do provide a sound machine and ear plugs which I really appreciated!!

This is the 1950s auto court updated with just the right modern amenities that sophisticated road ramblers require as the sine qua non of quality. The room is clean in the small details that matter. Everything is laid out immaculately. There's a pleasing, soothing air about the room. You feel wanted and welcomed.

Great place to stay after a long day of driving. Well equipped and comfortable. The street noise tapers off and wasn't an issue. Wish there were more windows and a view of something other than our car.

We’re not smokers. I understand it was raining when we arrived, but to have 3 people standing around the door to our room smoking was not the welcome we were looking for. Your rule sheet says 20 feet from the front of the motel, not 2 feet. We waited in our car until the smokers were done and left.

My family and i had a great 1 night stay at this motel. Self check in/out with electric locks on the doors. The room was clean. Parking right in front of our room. Sound proof was more than adequate but the staff provided ear plugs just in case as it sits on a busy road. The room had everything we needed- toiletries, fridge, microwave, chairs out front. Customer service was excellent, owners were very friendly and communicative. They accommodated a last minute late checkout. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The property was easy to access and the self check-in was very convenient. The air conditioner was going and it was greatly appreciated in a 36 degree heat wave. The bed was comfy, the fridge and bathroom were immaculate. We loved the teas/coffees and beauty products. We’re stayed for the easy access to Sandpoint Public Beach, and it didn’t disappoint. Hipster vibe was 10/10.

Wowzers! What a gem! The reviews were spot on! This place was absolutely perfect for our two night stay over the 4th of July weekend. The rooms are adorably decorated and had everything we needed! The owners even offer a toaster oven and hot plate if needed (talk about attention to detail). Pros: Everything! Checking in was simple and done over the phone. Same with checkout. Comfortable beds. Blackout shades. AC. Air purifier. Two luggage racks (yes!!). Small kitchen items. It was perfect! Light Sleeprs: The location is on a busy highway, and there are train tracks nearby. However....they offer ear plugs, and I used a sound machine on my phone along with the AC fan to drown out any noise. I heard nothing and slept great. So light sleepers, give this place a chance! Don't hesitate to book here. You will not be disappointed. Amy, Sam and Eric....your hard work has paid off. Thank you for making your place so lovely!

Great stay in a modern motel room! Beautiful decor and a clean space. Noise from the train and traffic but it wasn’t enough to bother me. I’d stay there again!

Our stay was excellent. The room was great, clean. The only thing that we didn’t care for was the train going by because it was noisy when that happened. But the hotel obviously can’t do anything about that.

The Outdoors Inn is such a clean, simple, and cute place to stay. It was very comfortable and easy to access, even late at night as we were passing through on our way back home! I love that it is a family-owned place and because of it, they corresponded with me in a very friendly and hospitable manner. Although it's just three of them running it, and just one on sight, they were very prompt to respond to back to me when I needed something. And the check-in and check-out was very efficient, too. I would definitely stay again when we're in the area.
