No hot water. Tv didn’t work.

We had a great stay at Bahia Bay Resort. The room was spacious, the A/C worked perfectly, the pool area was fantastic and the dock provided an amazing view of the sunset. If you want to walk to restaurants, bars, or shopping, there might be other options, but if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place on the water, Bahia Bay Resort is top notch and very hard to beat.

Micheal was amazing! Sunsets from the private dock are breathtaking, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Did not know what to expect of the property. Very pleasantly surprised. Two dock direct access to the gulf. Watched the sunset from one of them. Pool and hot tub were immaculate and the right temperature. Clean pool towels with some free beer left from prior guests. This place is great for small groups like weddings or business outings. As a solo guest the amenities were outstanding. The owner lives on site. Need I say more.

Window shades broken tv did not work dirty towels all over the property unkept landscape. The room was clean and spacious property has great potential if managed properly. Excellent location beautiful sunset.

This was the best place i ever stayed at!
It was like having your own secluded resort with private beach, pool, and hot tub. Beautiful sunsets and sandy beach. By far the best place to go, and i hope to stay longer next time.

We enjoyed the quit surroundings. It’s a smaller resort, so it was a great place to celebrate our anniversary. Beautiful sunsets!

The room was comfortable but my only complaint was that we nearly didn't make it in time for check in due to 2 auto accidents on the highway. Since the cut of four check in was 8pm we were stressing about that. However, since we did make it in time with about 5-10 minutes to spare it wasn't an issue. After that the stay was very good.

Only 10 units, like having your own resort. Can sit near the beach or on the dock or in the large hammock. Also enjoyed hot tub.

This property is located near the sea, with a private beach, a dock, a pool and a hot tub. Very secure with a metal fence closing the entrance of the resort. Feels like a resort in an island in the south. Plenty of chairs to lie down. This property is often used for weddings and corporate events. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. A bit pricey but good value.

Fantastic property, comfortable pool and hot tub. Loved spending time on the two docks going out into the ocean.

It had beautiful grounds with access to the water

Nice facility, the room is a bit outdated but clean. Loved being able to walk out back and watch the sunset. There are kayaks and standup paddleboard that you can use.

Great place. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. It had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in while traveling. That was our complaint, we slept too much! Beautiful property, great room. Highly recommend.

The rooms were very clean and, although it wasn't necessary, they made up the room and supplied new towels every day.

Large and comfortable room. Very nice amenities and grounds. Especially enjoyed the area next to the bay.

The property was beautiful. Rooms were nice, quiet and roomy. Hot tub was nice but pool was dirty. Seemed the pump was not running during our time here.
The “staff” was non existent. We received zero communication about what to do on arrival. When we arrived at check-in time, there was a locked gate. The sign at the gate said to call X number. We called more than 5 times with no answer and no return phone call. We only got onto the property bc someone was leaving. Once on the property, we found the cleaner (who was not an employee). She called the owner who then left to meet us. There are no “employees” at this location. It seems to be privately owned and only us and two other couples were occupying rooms during our stay. The owner was generally unapologetic about not being there in time for our check in nor answering our calls.
Ultimately a nice property, but zero communication from property owner and not worth the hassle. Would t stay here again.

My wife and I found Bahia Bay Resort simply by chance, and we couldn’t be happier that we did. We enjoyed a week there – the accommodations were wonderful. Our stay was so peaceful and beautiful, and adventure was always at the ready.
We swam in the pool and the ocean, and we also kayaked along the shore several times. The sunsets from the dock were amazing, and fishing was a ball.
Loved the orchid garden, and the iguanas and dolphins were entertaining.
Thanks, Michael and team, for being such great hosts.
We’d go back in a minute.

Michael is a super host. The place is clean and quiet. We felt there like in Paradise.

It was Labor Day weekend and there were only 4 or 5 couples there. On Monday everyone left except us. We had the whole place to ourselves.

We were told the host would meet us at the hotel between 3:30 and 7:30 pm. We were there at 3:45 nobody showed up we called the number on the reservation got a message called the internet got a message called the sign on the gate got a message nobody came finally got Expedia who must have had emergency number for the host who then called us and said we never called which was a lie. I said we were angry they were not telling the truth and hadn’t showed up. He then told us he wouldn’t let us in and was calling Expedia and canceling our booking and left us standing there. In all my life I have never seen anything like this. He said he would call Expedia and refund our money . So unprofessional

I highly recommend Bahia Bay! The pictures do not do the property justice. There’s ample room for sunbathing, a wading pool, a regular pool and a hot tub. The rooms were large and clean. The owner was great and was available to address any questions or concerns. Great location with amazing views of the sunset on the water!

The Property is super quiet, There were only one other room rented other than ours so we really felt we had the resort to ourselves. Check in was easy Check out was also simple. We had a great time. Thank you
