Nice, clean property. Very nice people.

Beautiful, clean, quiet and super large family room, which was almost two separate rooms! A great hotel, with a good breakfast to boot.

A great location near lifts and restaurants. We enjoyed the room and everything we clean. The receptionist was very nice. We appreciated the hotel for allowing ua to store our luggage while we explores the town. The breakfast also had a great selection of simple fares like meusli, bread, cheeses and deli meats. Coffee was served to us by a waiter. We would come back again.

Excellent hotel and friendly staff. Breathtaking views.

We only stayed one night, had dinner nearby, walked the town and enjoyed every minute of it. The check-in was friendly too.

Loved it !
4.0
Loved the location and old world feel.
Not a big fan of deep tubs and awkward showering. Room had a big public deck outside two windows reducing privacy. Otherwise nice stay.

Across street from grocery store and equidistant to train and cable car. Great staff!

Perfect getaway

Very nice room & bath.
2.5
Continently located, not too far from the train station. The WiFi code they give you only works on three devices total, so if you both have a phone and an iPad, you’ll need another code. The balcony is shared by three rooms with two chairs outside of each set of doors. And when we came back one day, the chairs were gone - the neighbor stole them.
Dinner at the restaurant was delicious.

Although the decor is not recent, the suite was huge, in top condition and very clean.

Our room is in the back of the main building. We had to lug our baggage through hallways and staircases to reach our room. The room is quite small and did not have much amenities. The breakfast was adequate but not fancy. The check out was inconvenient as the office did not open until 8 am but we had to catch an early cable car down to the valley at 7 am.

Wonderful small, friendly hotel in the heart of Mürren. The room was nice, good firm bed, updated bathroom with good shower pressure, and a very nice breakfast. One improvement would be changing to regular glass in the dining room so you can see outside. The restaurant wasn't open the 3 nights we were there but there were plenty of other options.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Our room was perfect and spacious. Although dated, it was clean and we had everything we needed. We woke up to amazing Mountain View’s from our bedroom, and the staff was extremely helpful. The Coop was literally across the street opposite the hotel, cable cars and trains within a 3, 5 and 7 minute walking distance was so helpful. Hand on heart, if we could afford it, we would live in Mürren forever. The views were incredible, it was like scenes from the Alpine movies. So grateful we got to experience such beauty.

Exactly what we were hoping for. Cozy room with alpine decor. Had a balcony with a view. Very clean and nice bathroom. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Made dinner reservations for us at another location. We were only there one night and as luck would have it, it was their Ruhetag (rest day). Breakfast buffet was wonderful - typical bread, meat, cheeses, several cereal offerings, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs. They serve you coffee. Restaurant menu and dining area looked very nice. Across the street from a small grocery store, which is convenient. Easy walk from gondola (5 minutes?), but you can pay to have the pick you and your luggage up for an extra fee. Would definitely stay there again.

Loved this hotel. Very accommodating and welcoming, with a lovely room. It didn't have a fridge but we used the balcony to keep things cool. Would visit again any time.

We really loved our stay here. It was our first time to Switzerland and everyone here was friendly and helpful

The hotel is in a convenient location in the middle of town. Since it is a car free village, it is quiet. The young man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to leave the desk and show me the room, since it was in a different building behind the main hotel. He even helped me with dinner reservations since most places were full. Room was clean and neat, and well maintained.

Staff at the property/hotel/restaurant were very friendly. Front desk/concierge was very helpful and has a great sense of humor. Property was very well maintained, though obviously a little older. Meal in the restaurant was excellent. Location was fantastic and the scenery can't be beat. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was lovely. The location on the main street was the main issue. Though we had a view room- it was not much of one. It was over the main street and through 2 buildings. So to me the View room was not worth an additional cost. The main reasons that I would not stay here is that the walkway the hotel is on is a thruway for walkers from the train to the cable car all day long. It was beautiful and quiet in the morning until the store across the street opened up and it process of opening was very loud. We were up- but others might not be. I'd stay in Murren- but stay elsewhere.
The staff was fine. The room was fine. Just the location was the issue.

Very picturesque. Staff very helpful and pleasant. No elevator lots of stairs. Only one negative, no coffee in the room and non available until 730. Otherwise loved our stay.

Hotel Blumental is an absolute gem! The staff were so friendly and welcoming (especially Marco at the front desk). Our room was in the chalet behind the main hotel, and it was clean, comfortable, and charming. Lovely bedding and an amazing view from the deck. We had dinner at the restaurant both nights because it was so delicious. Jose was our waiter and he took good care of us. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. Ricardo helped us with our bags, and Nadine checked us out. Everyone was wonderful and we hated to leave. Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is centrally located in the village - and the room was nice. However, the staff was only okay in terms of helpfulness/friendliness and the amenities were nothing special.

I tend to believe that the high prices in Switzerland are offset by top notch service and quality. This hotel was a disappointment. Especially the bathroom - pokey little cubical, if one person was cleaning the teeth it was difficult to squeeze into the small rickety shower cabin. There was only liquid soap containers, the shower one was EMPTY.
Next day we stayed in the centre of Zermatt. Really beautiful hotel, great modern bathroom and truly lovely personal service. And that at considerably lower price than Blumental. This put the price of this hotel in perspective! Give it a miss

This lodging fit our needs perfectly. We were a 4 unit building on a street behind and above the hotel. This was actually better because it eliminated the staircase. Instructions told us to check in at another hotel on the day of our arrival. This turned out to be incorrect advice. And needs to fixed by Hotels.com. The attached next door bar was the correct location. Breakfast was excellent.

Great staff, great location and great price.

Everything was excellent, except Silvia's attention in reception, she was VERY rude with her attention, she was grumpy and not at all courteous with us.

We loved our stay at the Blumenthal. It’s beautiful and the staff are friendly.

Beds and pillows need an upgrade. not very comfortable (bed is too hard and pillows are too soft), it was hard to sleep.

The rooms were huge and the location was perfect. I loved the breakfast and the staff was very friendly.

The view(s) were spectacular and the room was quaint, but honestly after that it was disappointing. I will plead ignorance as I didn't know the property was above Lauterbrunnen and you had to take a cable car up.. wouldn't have been bad but it was $20 roundtrip per and considering the only thing that was opened past 6 were the restaurants (where the staff at these establishments were fair to midland.) Also, I believe the last cable car up to Murren was 8 or 9, so if you got in from a day trip you didn't have time to go down to Lauterbrunnen or Wengen. The area is phenomenal and I will be back, but I will stay in Lauterbrunen or Wengen.
2.5
Very nice place and very kind front desk staff that was very helpful. The room was alright and the breakfast was great. The only thing that could be worth clarifying in the hotel description is that the hotel is only reachable via cable car since the hotel is located right up by the moutains. We had a great overall experience and it was fun having to take the cable car up to the mountains, it just took us a while to figure out how to get to the hotel since the GPS couldn't find it.
4.0
We liked staying in the separate chalet which had a balcony and great views. However we got a peek at the regular rooms in the actual hotel and they looked dated and dark. We liked the breakfast. Otherwise there were hardly any staff around and check in was inconvenient because we had to do it at another hotel without any heads up.
