Second time at this hotel - 2 years apart. Clean, efficient, comfortable and large room. Hotel visit was great and breakfast is very good. Only issue - billing - ordered the room thru One Key / Hotels.com and paid in full with a combination of points and money. After checking out a pending charge for the entire amount is shown on my credit card after one week. Will dispute the charge. Otherwise an excellent hotel stay.

This is my 3rd or 4th time staying at this hotel. It has now become my go-to hotel everytime I am in Gainesville. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, parking lot is well lighted and safe. The breakfast is always good and filling. I will always look for openings at this hotel first when there.

We arrived at the hotel late on Saturday night after Hurricane Helene had blown through the day before. Apparently a transformer blew out and the hotel was running on a generator. They did let us know that there was no air conditioning in the room, but more like it was an afterthought. When asked what we were suuposed to do, the concierge snottily said, "Just go to Walmart and buy a fan". 1) there was no sign ANYWHERE that the AC wasn't working in the rooms. The AC was working just fine in the lobby, though. 2) There was no attempt to contact anyone and let us know so we could have figured something out in advance. 3) there was no apology or recompense offered. Not even a bottle of water, a coupon for a free night in the future, or anything. 4) to suggest at 11pm that I go find a walmart and shop for a box fan is ludicrous!! We happened to luck out that a local CVS was still open and happened to still have a couple fans, but that's not the point. 5) t was cooler outside than in. If the windows opened, we could have at least pit the fan in the window to suck the colder air in If I hadn't prepaid for the hotel room, I would've canceled right then and there and driven the 2 hours back home. As it was, we didn't even bother to stay the 2nd night. I'm never staying there ever again.

Well we came from 60miles away too thinking our room was like I paid for and it wasn’t. I get there the clerk tell another family the a/c is out in the rooms not the lobby or the hallways an I was like ok did I hear that right? So when it got to me she welcomed me I signed an then after she gives me my room keys she goes” oh I forgot too inform you that there is no a/c in the rooms….lol I just couldn’t be mad because we had no power at the house so I just stayed up all night with the room door open so everyone could get some air at least. But room 104 we can’t complain it was better than staying in the dark with four kids and just went grocery shopping an can’t cook. But having the door open maybe wasn’t safe but we well they slept ok after it cooled down.

I was leaving Florida ahead of hurricane Helene and there was a really nice place. The staff was friendly. The hotel is only three years old and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

The staff was helpful and the room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and the next morning we took advantage of the free breakfast. We stayed for a sporting event. I was concerned the location may be too far from the stadium ,but, a shuttle service was available which was awesome. We chose to walk back to the property after the game. I would stay again.

Stayed here for a visit to UF Health/Shands. The staff were all wonderful. So helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, and that was a big plus. The location was convenient, close to UF campus but nice and quiet. I already booked my next stay.

Very clean hotel. Friendly staff and service. Great rooms. The only negative if I have to pick one was that the shower head was smaller than what I’ve seen in some other hotels. However, the room itself was great!

PROS - it was quiet on my floor; several places in walkable distance to shop and eat; even though room wasn't ready at check-in (around 3:30), Chris (front desk agent), was very cordial, offered beverage for waiting, never made you feel ignored, and continually checked and advised of updates; easy parking; staff was very polite; room very clean and didn't have to ask for more linen; microwave worked; and refrigerator was cold inside; next time I'll ask for a room on west side (heard vehicles as they passed); provided enough luggage racks. CONS: didn't feel quite safe because a customer didn't need a key card to get on elevator, so you didn't know if you were riding elevator with someone or got off on floor with you belonged or if they were strangers in the hotel; re the breakfast I rate "7" because butter should have been soft for toast or waffle, grits were could have been cooked a little longer, and sausage patty needed seasoning; however fruit, bread and juice fresh; was not able to access guide or info about the show on tv but was provided a list of channels/networks; some construction happening (had to do a lot of surfing).

It was filthy. The shower , floor etc.The refrigerator wasn’t even emptied. I requested the room be cleaned in the morning. When I arrived in the evening the didn’t even leave clean towels. Just horrible.

The Wi-Fi on the 5th floor didn’t work the first day. I told the front desk manager and they told me it was my phone. My phone worked fine in the lobby. I told them again the second day, they sent a tech to check it out and sure enough it was broken. As for the free breakfast, they had no forks and I was told to use a spoon. The sausages the first day was under cooked and the second day was hard as a rock.

We’ve stayed twice at this hotel while visiting UF Health Gainesville. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

There was a lot of noise from other guests in the middle of night 3 am!! There was argument in the hallway for a long time.I don't know if any of the staff did anything about it. Water pressure was really bad in shower and faucets.

The room was large, tidy, and cozy. However, I had asked for a baby crib or bassinet for my son, but it was not provided at check-in. After waiting for hours, my husband had to remind the staff downstairs about the crib. It took another hour and a half before they finally brought it to the room. Unfortunately, when they did bring it, one side of the crib was broken and wouldn't stay in place. We had to put it aside and try to sleep. Tragically, our baby fell off the bed while we were sleeping and woke us up with his cries. It was a terrible experience.
