This was our first time visiting Hiroshima so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it’s hard for me to imagine a better location than this. The unit was clean and spacious with nice amenities like a washer/dryer and a patio area with a nice view. The unit is at the back of the building so the noise from the road is really minimized. There’s a streetcar station basically right in front of the building, too. This provided the space for our family to be together, and for privacy when needed also.
Communication with the unit owner was great. We were contacted well on advance to complete guest information forms, and received good recommendations for several questions we had before arrival. We received the check in instructions on the day of arrival and they worked exactly as expected. Checkout was equally easy.
I should note that the window coverings really do not block much light, so at the time of year we visited the sun was streaming into the main room and the back bedroom vert early. You may want to bring an eye mask for sleeping if that might bother you.
There are almost always quirks to apartment rentals so I’ll mention what we noticed- just comments for future renters, not at all criticisms. The hallways and the unit entry doors are kind of industrial- like a public storage place or a detention center. And the doors are small- 5’ 10” tall. If you’re tall, be aware and be careful. None of that should stop you from staying here, though. We would again.

It is an apartment, simple and comfortable. Older, I guess fitted out in the 90's, but well maintained.
It was comfortable and way more spacious than a hotel room. Great location. Private.
No personal contact, the key was in a lock box and instructions emailed. The building itself is like a zillion others, use the video to find it.
