A beautiful old hotel with a lovely courtyard. The room was very spacious and had a gorgeous large modern bath. They had a beautiful bar area also. Our breakfast was in a room with candlelight. Very nice! My only exception was that we were on the 3rd floor with heavy luggage and a small staircase -no elevator! Good location within walking distance to almost everything.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Les Remparts Hôtels et Demeures Historiques earlier this week (Sept 2024) as we wrapped up a two week trip. Having spent 7 nights on a longboat down the Rhine River, we loved the spacious room and bath/shower, along with the beautiful accommodations and finishes in our room. We didn't realize the significant historical significance of the property until we had gotten home. Arnaud greeted us and took great care of us, including getting us settled and luggage to our third floor room, restaurant recommendations, directing us where to grab our bag lunch for our all-day wine tours, breakfast service, pouring the best wine, etc. And Louie saw us off and ensured our prompt trip to the train station. Thank you, Arnaud and Louie! We loved the fresh breakfast and great coffee, nice breakfast area, wonderful patio/courtyard area and cool bar area with an awesome wine list. The assistance with wine tour recommendations, restaurant reservations, tips and advice, etc etc was spot on. We commend Bruno and Emmanuelle on a beautiful property and preserving such a historic treasure! Along with employing the nicest and most courteous staff we came across on our two week trip to France, Germany and The Netherlands, you won us over as the only place to stay when we are back in Beaune.

Short but very enjoyable stay. Lovely room in beautifully restored period building. Arrived a bit late and the very knowledgeable concierge did a fantastic job in finding us a restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. Hope to return.

Beautiful historic hotel in great location. Very close to parking. Staff excellent. Only criticism is that the staircase is a narrow spiral staircase and not great for older people. I would recommend and stay again.

The attendants at the front desk were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful and the bed was extra comfortable. It was located at the top of a tower. We had a tasty breakfast in a nice old castle room. The blending of old architecture and modern design is stunning and of high quality.

Beautiful hotel with large, elegant rooms. Only issue is no elevator and the stairs are steep and narrow. It is right in the middle of town, convenient to everything. Staff was very helpful with restaurant reservations.

Incredible hotel filled with history. The front desk staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast is fabulous. It is important to note - no elevator and areas with small staircase. Otherwise the setting is beautiful and peaceful. Location is absolutely perfect

This is a wonderful Hotel in town walking distance to bars and restaurants. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when a come through Beaune.

We stayed here for 2 nights and would not recommend.The 1st room had damp/mould on the walls not great for health & safety.We moved rooms and in both rooms couldn’t sleep.Beaune is a stop off to the south and unfortunately a lot of jet lagged travellers who were up banging away all night.Impossible to sleep and wdnt let us check out after the 1st night of no sleep.Our worst stay.

We loved the old charm of this hotel. At the same time, we had just enough modern amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. They reached out before our stay, asking how they could make our stay more comfortable. They made a reservation I requested, which was very helpful. We will definitely return. And the town of Beaune is a must see. Merci beaucoup!

We were looking for a charming, old world hotel and we got it. The renovations and updates were well done. Our room was located on the 3rd floor with spiral staircases which was difficult for us. The staff was helpful in transporting our luggage. Next time I would ask for a room on a lower floor.

The room, No 1, was large and nicely decorated but it had a terrible smell of moisture and mould. Woke up in the night with a headache and lack of fresh air. Sure it was due to the indoor climate and high humidity in the room. Even the linens were moistured. Mentioned our experience in the morning and they said it was du the low floor above the cellar. But in other public rooms in the ground floor the same moisture smell was missing. We hadn't stayed there another night and a room which is harmful to your health should be possible to rent out until it had been "renovated". At Hotels.com it was displayed as with double bed and two single beds. But the latter was a bunk bed with bad comfort for a grown up. Poor description from Hotels.com.

I love this place. So unique and a stunning building. Exceptionally clean. Staff lovely. Bed linen gorgeous and bed comfortable. Had a great night sleep. Perfect location to explore this wonderful town. Managed to park right outside so it was really convenient, but I noticed the car park is only round the corner too. Wish we could stay longer. Will definitely be returning.

Beautiful hotel and incredible history associated with it. We stayed on Christmas day. Arnold the manager was excellent and he took a great amount of time to answer all our question and even more found us a place for dinner and made reservations as most places were closed.

A beautiful hotel in a great location to walk and explore Beaune. Lovely staff gave us a warm welcome and had really helpful advice on where to eat. This was a one night stop but it deserves a longer stay. Secure off site parking was a short 2 minute stroll.

Beautiful stone walls and timbered ceilings. Vaulted stone in breakfast room and lovely patio when the afternoon warmed. Walkable to all our agenda items. Staff so very friendly and supper helpful with everything.

Lovely small boutique hotel in the heart of Beaune. The hotel is located in a renovated building from the 18th century and is full of interesting historial remarks. The room was spacious and well decorated, the bathroom was very large and felt luxurious. Staff was great and responded to all my queries. Would definetely stay again! This hotel has a great charachter. Due to the historical nature of this building there is no elevator so keep in mind if you have heavy luggage.

Great location and friendly staff. The room was great, but there is no elevator. We had the top floor and it was three flights of tiny stairs. Highly recommended - unless you have bad knees. ; )
