I really enjoyed this hotel. It is roomy with lots of seating in the lobby. Everything was very clean and they had DirectTV!!!! I loved staying here.

Nice for price, not a boutique. 5/10 stars in 2024. The listing on Hotels.com is not accurate, needs updated. Front desk service 9 AM to midnight. Nice lady at desk, but limited English. I asked if there was more than one door to the room and she said no. There are three, including an adjoining suite that had no privacy lock. Must slam door to latch & lock. I asked for a quiet room. I got one next to pool door off the inside lobby & near hallway to laundry & back exit, but It was quiet all night. There was an old hotel smell, but the place seems clean and I came in with low expectations for the price. Open pool w/strong chlorine smell, water wasn’t crystal clear. Spa completely empty/not functioning. Wi-Fi secure, password is easy to guess. In-room microwave & fridge/no freezer, big screen TV, one easy chair, no table or desk, two nightstands. Firm bed w/soft top, thin sheets. Air conditioner works fine & quiet. Accessible bathroom but fixture needs rust removal. Shower is half pressure, drains slow. Shower wall has mildew in the cracks. No exhaust fan. Toiletries provided, no facial tissues. Towels are thin & cheap. Had to ask for missing hairdryer. Refrigerator made clicking noise from inside a console cabinet.

Pretty run down, cockroaches in the bathroom, floors were damp, beds small and way too soft, pillows dirty and flat. Refrigerator didn’t work

Great staff and conveniently located right off the highway. Easy check in! Thanks to the staff we plan to visit again.

Rooms are very clean and newly decorated. Owners are very nice and the hotel is located a short distance from the highway. There is a Casey’s General Store just a block away. I’ve stayed here several times and have nothing bad to say and the price is right.

Passing through and needed somewhere clean, quiet and affordable to stay the night. This hotel fit all 3 and the beds were very comfortable. It has a great lobby area where we were able sit and play some cards before bed. This little place is a great deal for the price.

Although looks a little sketchy on the outside, the inside was nice and comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here if traveling and need a clean inexpensive place to sleep. We started on our trip up north and on the way back.

Nice little place with friendly staff. Was very clean and felt safe. Industrial area - so nothing close by- was really surprised by how comfortable the beds were for such an inexpensive motel. Everything worked. Nothing was broken. Brick building. Clean and comfortable- would stay here again (just to give you context of my preferences- the night b4 I stayed at a Hilton)

Very cool new looking furniture. Great bed! Parked right in front of my room! With the exception of a couple marks on the bathroom door everything in there looked new and newly painted, and this place should be 100% booked every night. Because it's also a really great value!

I think I was the only person at the hotel - felt creepy.

Needs new towels at the minimum they were paper thin and so small room was dated but to be expected at price bed was comfy cleaning person needs to be fired hard to find anyone in lobby when we were arriving or departing.

Stayed 9 days, there were no water glasses at all, 2 small towels, no tissues, only 1 roll of toilet paper, no telephone! No housekeeping the entire stay, ie the 1 wastebasket was never emptied (except by us), no clean towels ever provided, bed linens never changed, no extra roll of toilet paper. If not for the urgency of our stay in the area & their no refund ever policy, we would have left it

Check in was a breeze and owner was very friendly and accommodation when we needed extra towels and bedding. Great value for the money. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, good water pressure in the shower, NO bed bugs as others have reported. A/C ran very cold. Felt safe where the hotel was located. Didn’t use the pool but it looked clean and well taken care of.

Suites have a nice amt of space.

This hotel is ok and convenient. I enjoyed my room. Staff is not always easy to find. They have a ring doorbell, and don't respond for very quickly at times.

The property is very good with large rooms and parking right outside the door. It is convenient for us to travel. As Emporia is a small town we do feel it is pretty safe. The surrounding area is not great as it is not close to Restaurants/shops and not very walkable. As this hotel does not serve breakfast, it is a travel to get food. The office is only open at 9am making it inconvenient in case you need help.

This hotel is a dump. There were more things broken in our room than there were working. The AC wasn’t working and the room was weltering The faucet on the bathroom sink would not turn to cold so we had to brush our teeth with water from the bathtub faucet. The only electrical outlet in the bathroom was dead and all the electrical outlets in the room were so worn out that they wouldn’t hold a plug. This place has the ignominious distinction of being the worst accommodations we had on our cross country drive.

Don't let the low price scare you. This is an incredible value. The hotel is not fancy but it is clean and safe and the owners are very nice. Bed very comfortable. The towels are thin but I brought my own. If you you're in town for disc golf this is an amazingly affordable place to stay. Great location to many courses.

The room was clean but spartan. I was there for four days. Zero room service. No phone, limited towels, loose toilet seat, very cheap bedding and poor mattress, no tissues, minimal shampoo-etc, no pamphlets on area food - etc., few roaches. The building sign is small, cheap and difficult to recognize. I had to retrace my steps to locate the place. The surrounding drive pavement is in terrible shape. The pool looked OK but the spa was out of service. My door key didn't work but that seems to happen frequently on my trips My venue was cut short one day but Expedia refuses a refund so that extra day was paid for but not used. Overall, I can deal with minimal, so I wasn't overly disappointed, and the owner was very nice. Difficult to rate if you are just looking for a low cost place.

We really like staying here. It offers everything we need, even laundry facilities. Room is clean and compy.

Clean room and the staff is very nice. The rooms have good beds. Mini fridge and microwave in the room.

I made a last-minute reservation so I was grateful to find a place to stay. My check in was quick and problem free. The polite attendant offered me an inside room which was close to the front desk. I appreciated this as many of the rooms had outside doors and I was traveling alone. The rooms are not updated, but they were clean and comfortable.

An older property that has been refreshed with newer furnishings and tile. We loved that the TV had TCM channel! The staff were nice and helpful.Price was amazingly low. Bed was comfortable. Nice big TV.

Comfy bed. Good shower. Very clean. Unique in that you park horizontally in front of your room for easy loading and unloading. This place is old, but has character. Front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. My only complain is the tiny, thin towels. You needed like 3 of them to get dry, but in this room with 2 guests there were only 2 thin towels, 1 wash cloth, and 2 hand towels. No extra roll of toilet paper and we used it all and had no replacement. This place was so inexpensively priced! We would stay here again and bring our own towels.
