I wish I could give this hotel the highest ratings but there were some huge drawbacks for me. The property itself is amazing—very clean, luxurious, comfortable beds, beautiful pool and great staff. It’s the surroundings that left a lot to be desired. It was like they put lipstick on a pig—it’s VERY noisy, even with the windows being sound blocking, and *red flag* they actually give you earplugs on your bedside table, which tells you they know it’s super loud. Apparently the surrounding community has no mufflers on any of their cars/motorcycles, and they like to drive around the area just because. And then there’s the rooftop concert that was happening at their sister resort next door. I think if I were 30 years younger and still drinking a lot, this would be the perfect property. It is just steps from the beach, there’s lots of little food huts and people watching around, and live music. But if you’re looking for a relaxing stay, this is not it. We usually stay in Encinitas, and we will be staying there in the future. This was not it for me, sorry MPBR.

Awesome stay, can’t wait to return. The property is really nice, lots of places to just hang out and relax. The rooftop bar is great. Service was wonderful all around. The hotel and room were clean and really well decorated. The hotel is pet friendly and they did a great job supporting pet needs as well.

Love this place I’ve stayed here a few times and won’t stay anyplace else while I’m in Oceanside. Staff is fantastic. Had an extra charge for the room bar and I don’t drink and it took a right off. Can’t wait to visit next year.

I am unable to get around without a wheel chair or walker. I knew getting to the beach usually has issues but I can usually get there. Not this time. first theres a very busy street blocking the way, then the only way to get to the beach is going up a very steep driveway which my spoouse had to push me upand once there, you can only go so far I was unable to walk on the beach because there were too many obstacles in the way. we paid for a ocean front room but ( the photos were not realilistic and gave those in my position no way to see the true situation. i did appreciate the chairs and umbrellas and appreciate the help from the young workers. But that doesnt help the frustration I had on this trip. I wont be back

Amazing O'Side location. Across the street from the beach. Loved the vibe at the hotel and coffee shop. Pool is not family friendly and would improve if their was a time families could hang out. Could improve their valet as well

The only downside was the parking. The choices are either (very expensive) valet or a crappy parking lot across the street-positive note is that you meet really fun people at midnight when validating your parking! Otherwise, I would say this was the best hotel stay and most beautiful property I’ve stayed at!

Beautiful and high end experience. We went during a crazy busy time , so beach seemed over packed, but staff were great, respectful, and gave us the VIP treatment. In room dining was delicious and very high end quality. Mission provided great extras for beach rentals and convenient for all residents. Great stay! Can’t wait to come back again

We love the staff and the grounds. But our favorite is that Mission Pacific and Seabird are joint properties and we get the benefits of having access to both. We highly recommend others to stay and enjoy the surroundings with being across from the beach and the enjoyment of all that is available from restaurants and local businesses near by. We will be back again in the fall!

It was an amazing stay. We loved how close everything was to the hotel. The beach, local coffee shops, and a great donut place were walking distance. Great service by every staff member we came into contact with. Loved it so much we extended our stay another night.

Arrived early morning and the nice young man who was at the front desk was able to get me checked in even though they had a full house the night before. Front desk was super helpful and even upgraded my room to an ocean view. The rooftop bar had excellent service and though I wanted to explore other places I just enjoyed it there so much I didn’t leave!

Barking dog in the adjacent room, disturbed our first 2 days of stay The room on top of the kitchen fumes exhaust, mede it impossible for us to use the balcony. The smells were terrible. And to close our stay construction started at 8am in the morning of Moday with the room basically shaking. We took the monday pff from work to rest and this stay made it impossible

Some of the staff could use a little bit more training on customer service, example giving out the information of the rooms and what comes with it, wifi password, what is complimentary and what is not. Parking is right across the hotel but and its $5.00 but at Midnight you have to go and pay for a new day, a little inconvenient but a lot better then paying 47 Dollars for valet. When I asked about parking the girl up front looked at me as if I was annoying her. But not all employee there were like her. Some actually give me an answer with a smile and did a great job filling me in with what is all accessible at the hotel.
