My stay was perfect for my short trip, 6 min walk to the subway and 20 mins away from the city. I would leave early and come home Late so just slept and showered. The area is a bit rough so I would just be aware of your surroundings when waking to the subway but I’m from SFO so if you know you know

Staff is indifferent to customers. At check in - given a room, upon entering the room - it looked like occupants had just gotten out of bed - not cleaned. Had to wait for a room to be cleaned. 2nd room clean - found balcony door would not latch or lock closed - allowing cold air into room. Heater not working. Shower did not have a full enclosure - only a swinging glass door - and about 18" of gap - allowing water to splash all over the floor creating a slip hazard. My wife found hair on the "clean towels". Also this hotel rents rooms on an hourly basis - cash only - suspect clientel using this place. Unfortunately, with its location and arrangement, this could be a great place if properly managed.

I will not stay there again. The pics on website were misleading. It is an hourly hotel.. it looked just like a rundown. I was shocked i booked my stay there
3.5
Not so good. Needs manitence

Pimps junkys and hookers oh my . They rent by the hour .

I did not stay because I tried 2 different rooms and they were disgusting. There was no top sheet on the beds and the bottom sheets were stained and had cigarette holes burned in them. The mattresses were saggy and the cloth bed frames were filthy. The doors didn’t have locks, the light in the first bathroom was burned out. The hotel didn’t offer me a refund for my $250 room even though I was only there for about 20 minutes

I can only say that I do not regret my stay. The service was good, the room was good. In order to return, I will gladly stay again, I have no regrets.

This hotel has an option to rent the rooms by the hour which is not clear on the website or at Hotels.com. The bed had a single top sheet and a single, easily washable polyester blanket since the room is likely used in the sex trade. Do not stay there. The hotel also was unable to give me a receipt for when I left.

This is a boom boom hotel ! After the club drunk let’s go lay ! Balcony was full of trash windows were cracked & the price they charge on the weekends is ridiculous!!!…. Not enough light in the bathroom! Also 1 washcloth 1 hand towel ,& two bath towels that looked dirty … don’t waste your time ..

The room was not clean. Dead roaches on the floor and stained sheets . We wont be going back there

A soon as I get in the room I saw a few small roaches around the bed and I just couldn’t stay there not even a minute

"The overall experience at the Moca Hotel was exceptional in every aspect."

This hotel is pretty run down. When we arrived, the heat was on in the room - in August. We switched it to air conditioning and the room cooled off after about 2 hours.
There was a used wet towel in the corner of the bathroom on the floor.
I will say the beds were comfortable.
The bulletproof glass across the front desk was a little disconcerting but I get it, it wasn't in the greatest neighborhood.
The price we paid was way to much for the quality and for what this hotel provided but we were booking last minute under duress after a flight cancellation. All hotels through the city were expensive that night.
3.5
The room was filthy. Even after cleaning it with my own bleach, it still smelled dank. The amount of roaches alone should warrant a discount.

Good property, I had a nice stay.
3.5
Terrible, cockroaches, loud, definitely not what hotels.com explains, expresses, or shows
3.5
There was one table and one chair. Need another or larger desk for two people and another chair. No suit rests for luggage. Beds were comfortable, but nail polish on comforter. Checking in was a bit distressing as you cannot pull up or park to check in. No bars in shower. That said, Nellie was so helpful and check out was easy. Convenient and reasonable parking right across street. Access to many good restaurants nearby.

fair for price. not the hyatt but not the friendly

This is a prostitute hotel, literally. The staff was nice and did everything they could to make us comfortable. But this is literally a hotel that charges by the hour.

The stay was okay and I'm pleased..

Check in was great. Check out was terrible.

It was awesome, they accommodated us well. The location of the hotel has easy access to mass transit (trains and buses) I-95 and the GW bridge.

Door to my room didn't lock. When i told front desk, i was told that there are cameras and no one goes up there. Elevator is weird. You press for 8 and the light says 9. But you are on the 8th floor. As soo as we got there a roach crawled across the front door. Will not be staying here again. Good if you on a budget and dont care.

It’s a good place to stay some nights in

This room was so small and stank like cigarettes. The balcony door didn’t open.
3.5
The shower door was broken and the sliding glass door had duct tape and foil on it.
3.5
The toilet did work right I had to fix it
3.5
Not a place i will go back, thats for sure.

Thank goodness

Being that NYC decriminalized weed some guest thought that it's ok to smoke in a non-smoking establishment. Which in turn made me have to request a different room because of the 2nd hand smoke seeping into my room. BUT THEIR BREAKFAST IS AMAZING!!!!!
3.5
not clean

This place should be labeled for adults only

Honestly you get what you pay for, as I paid less than $150 for a 1 night stay.
It’s a very unconventional hotel, the hourly rate for rooms definitely suggests as much.
The room itself was the bare minimum. Bed? Check. Shower? Check. TV? Check.
However, the lights were very dim and poorly placed, so the room itself was very dark. There were fruit flies in the room, and no comforter to the bed, just sheets and a tarp like top blanket. So that was… less than optimal.
The front desk was ok, I had to prompt them to figure out how to check in, but it is what it is.
If you’re strapped for cash and you need a place to sleep for the night, this is your place. If you have money to spend, go somewhere else.
