reception was not friendly and had a low service understanding. on arrival 1245 I was told. no rooms to you before 1500. very rude. after 30 minutes a room was available. when asking for a taxi. she said. call yourself and gave me the phone.

It's a nice new hotel, a little away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Nearby is a bus stop, McDonald's, Burger King, and Aldi. A buffet breakfast is served, and you can have a hearty meal. There are no balconies. Saunas and swimming pools are also missing. The room is clean, and the air conditioner is working. The window opens only on the window pane. There is an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, and TV. The mattress is of medium hardness, and convenient for both sleeping and active activities.

This property is in the middle of a building site and next to industrial units. This wasn't made clear at all. They said 24hour snacks availabile but the older lady refused this totally, and I had to go out in the dark and pouring rain to get food on my first night - alone in an unfamiliar place. Pretty dreadful.

The hotel and the rooms are good. The breakfast is very basic. What I did not like is that they do not give you the "beauty package" which is the shower cap and some other items. Instead they charge for this.

We stayed for two nights and were overall content, but: 1.In the middle of the first night, our telephone rang and woke us up. It rebooted and rang again. The next day, the people from the reception told us that they were sorry, this was a known problem and unfortunately they didn't know what caused it and how to fix it. Well how about at least telling customers that they should unplug the phone if they weren't planning to use it and valued their night's sleep? 2. The sink in our bathroom was clogged so that the water didn't run off properly (and neither did the toothpaste, soap, beard stubble after shaving etc). This is very unagreeable! We told the people at reception on the first afternoon and again the next morning, but nothing got fixed, i.e. the sink stayed jammed the whole time. We didn't even get an apology, explanation why it couldn't be taken care of or an offer to switch rooms.

Hampton by Hilton is a new hotel in Konstanz. Breakfast is provided and is extensive (though nearly the same each morning). A bus pass is included with the city tax, and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, going directly to the old city. Wifi worked well but there was no desk in the room (the "laptop space" was not satisfactory.

We were on a flying visit on our way through so didn’t want to spend a small fortune. Needed a clean comfy place to put our heads with a possibility of having a wonder and finding a restaurant or bar to relax in for the evening. This place did tick the boxes. I’m sure if you were staying longer you’d want to find somewhere a little closer to the action with more to do etc but you’ll be paying a higher price. We managed to find a nice restaurant and neighbouring bar to spend the evening in about a 10 min walk from the hotel so we were happy. The hotel seems to be having a extension at the moment so you are next to a building site which isn’t awesome but there was no unpleasant noise pollution or anything during our visit so it wasn’t an issue. Very handy and safe parking in front of the hotel which was great. The breakfast provided was enough to fill us up and send us on our way.

Fantastic room in modern, clean hotel. Good breakfast. 30 minutes walk from centre of Konstanz in an area which is currently a building site. There is a free bus pass, but only one bus an hour at night.

Hotel comfy rooms big enough surprisingly quiet very good Breakfast. Parking for 24h charge 12 Euro is also acceptable no issues for long weekend. Price was competitive for time of year. If pricing stays the same we will definitely be back.

The hotel is new, so we were excited about it, but the dirtiness was unacceptable for a hotel of this leve. There was dust all over the room, and when I looked under the bed it was discussing. My children coughed the whole night of the excessive dust in the room. The filter of bathroom fan was overflowing dust and way past the time to be replaced. Very unfortunate to have to deal with such condition.

Several mistakes from hotel personal : 1/ internet access with wrong user and password not according to hotel instructions (double name not possible and wrong room number) 2/ a piece of paper found inside the bed 3/ the card key did not work the second day, it needed to be reprogrammed, my stay of 2 nights was not coded in the card 4/ the door of the bathroom could not be locked 5/ the water boiler in the room did not work 6/ no restaurant in this hotel, deep-frozen type of pizza proposed
