Had to carry luggage up a flight of stairs before getting to a slow tiny elevator, room is small, hard to navigate, almost hit my head on the free hanging t.v. a few times, a blood spot on my sheet. Really disappointed to pay so much money for a hotel that has a good location, relatively good breakfast, and not much else

Clean and refurbished room that was on the small side for two people but worked well for one. Good water pressure in the shower, great breakfast. Somewhat noisy between rooms when people were running around like elephants but no noise from outside

Very convenient location. Small hotel. Not a lot of amenities but that isn't why you stay here. Could walk everywhere. We asked for 2 single beds as we were friends travelling together. Unfortunately, they couldn't give us one with 2 beds so we squeezed into a Queen bed together. Not optimal.

We arrived very late, very enthusiastic staff member wanted to chat while we had our complimentary tart and port. We were only overnighting. We had a view out to the Santa Justa lift. bathroom small but modern with a window to the street. Bedroom very tiny. Adequate room if you not planning to spend much time in it.

Not so good. As soon as we walked into the reception we could smell the sewer stench. It was also present in the guest room. Breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly and pleasant.

Really nicely done hotel. Very modern and great location for everything. Staff were lovely and very helpful even offering a treat and wine upon arrival. The rooms were fairly small but fine for a few nights The only issue was a strong drain smell in the entrance hall of the hotel and building works were right next to our room and started at 8am. Loud drilling noise is not very relaxing and didn’t appreciate being woken up by it. Assume when this is completed it will be fine but we weren’t aware the works were ongoing before our trip.

Of the 3 hotels I stayed in during my visit this one is on my list to not book again. The others I rated 5 of 5 and compared to them this one i give a rating of 2 of 5. The room was neat and clean with a nice appearance. The reasons I will not book again: 1. Access to my room was in a separate building with without a lobby which made me feel uncomfortable 2. There is no elevator to the second level in the building where my room was located. A staff person has to be called to carry luggage up and down the steps to the elevator level 3. There is an odor of garbage/sewage in the building entrance and air fresheners are used to mask the odor, but does not eliminate it 4. No iron/ ironing board in the room, could have called for it, but front desk person was irritated with a question I asked earlier. It was easier to endure for 1 additional night than to hassle the staff 5. Limited news channels in English 6. The shower door is divided into a top and bottom half with a sweep at the bottom of the lower door, water still spreads outside of the shower onto the floor. There a string, wire, rope of some sort attached to the walls around the bathroom and into the shower-don’t know the purpose for it 7. Limited UBS ports to charge cell phones 8. Loud noise outside early in the morning

We stayed 3 days in Lisbon at the Rossio Plaza Hotel. The hotel room was small but clean, quiet and centrally located. We had the hotel breakfast two of the three days and found it to be very good and convenient. There were many restaurants near the hotel so we decided on a change of pace and were very happy with the small coffee shop that serves specialty coffees, kinda like a ma and pop Starbucks.

Great find in the absolute centre of the city! Compact hotel as it was so central, rooms were a little small but fine for a few nights. The hotel lobby and lift and stairs did have a strong smell of I think cleaning products which was not very pleasant. Overall I would stay again. Beds were the most comfortable I have ever used and the shower was lovely and powerful.

This was the perfect location for my wife and I. Anything you want to do in Lisbon is walkable from the Rossio Plaza hotel. Breakfast was very good lots of options. I can’t say enough about the staff. Front desk was so welcoming and were able to provide answers to all our questions. The staffs friendliness made our stay the most enjoyable part of our stay. Will not think about staying anywhere else when visiting Lisbon.

The hotel was conveniently located, very clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Our room overlooked Rossio Plaza, which was very scenic but had the drawback of being quite noisy at night (the street performers only stop at midnight). Overall our stay was very good!

The staff were excellent and the cleaning ladies put in so much work every day I hope they are getting paid well! Our room was in great condition. I would just say that there’s a bit of a smell in the one stairwell and some stains in the carpet that didn’t present great. Overall it was a nice clean room although small. We loved the location and the bed was very comfortable. The shower pressure and heat was great, and it was a good room to come back to every day. I think it’s a good value and a nice option to stay!

The staff we dealt with were all exceptional. The room was not! It was the size of a closet, with an attic overhang making it impossible for both of us to stand at the same time or to move in the room at the same time. The bathroom door only opened half way as the toilet was in the way. I am diss appointed that Hotels.com would recommend this hotel - especially at the nightly price - and I used a previous reward night. We are disappointed to say the least!

We were initially put in a “‘mansard” room that was under 100 square feet (yes, we measured) even though the Expedia website said it was 194 sq ft. Even worse, you couldn’t walk around without hitting your head on the ceiling. Front desk staff were real nice about switching us to a standard double room the next day (which is what we had actually reserved) and this was much better. Still, it seemed quite a bit smaller than the 172 sq ft claimed on the website.

The hotel is conveniently located in Rossio square within walking distance to everything (dining, shopping, tourist attractions,entertainment, scheduled tours starting in the areas). The room was spacious, with modern amenities and very comfortable. Staff were very nice too.
