My second time here, really love the hotel. The area is ok, lots to do and see. My only issue was that I asked reception to book me a table at a local restaurant and it wasn’t done so I didn’t manage to eat where I wanted to that night. Other than that the stay was perfect!

Your selection of food at Ginger could be better. No Salat with goat cheese, Cezars salat, with advocado, omelet etc. And Only burgers and pizza.

We’ve been here 2 times and
This year however we were particularly disappointed with the service, it’s no way near the level of a 5-star rating and it has gotten worse than last year:
- 2 days in a row we booked room service via the so-called “smart QR code system “ but as the food was supposed to come, we find out by ourselves, that the order never went through and we need to call via phone to fix this.
- At the pool area the service is particularly disappointing. Normally at a five star hotel, You will have staff walking around and asking the customers all the time if they need anything and if they want to order anything and they will be back with it shortly.
We experienced two times that we asked a staff member if we could order something and they said that they would be back but they just never came back so apparently they are not interested in satisfying customers and / or making money.
- At the Ginger pool bar / snack restaurant the staff is friendly but you had to wait in line for about 20 minutes just to get to Coca-Cola, even though there were seven or eight staff members behind the bar ! Again: NOT 5-star service as we are used to from other 5 star providers.
- We paid xtra for a Bali Bed by the pool, and the booking included water as stated online when you booked. We just never got the water even though a staff member came (after we had the bed for 5 hours!) and said she’d bring it.
Service and lack of structure/ overview of customer needs is a huge issue!

Hands down the best thing about this hotel is the breakfast. Funnily enough, a friend who had stayed here a few years remembered this when I said I had made the booking, and boy was he not wrong. The staff are also incredibly helpful and friendly, and the rooms spacious, modern, and comfortable. We had a sea view room and the view from the balcony was indeed stunning. Lots of great entertainment at the bar downstairs, and we caught a couple of very cool acts on two different nights. Onsite facilities like the tennis courts, the (huge) gym, and the yoga classes are an added bonus. It's absolutely perfect for a wellness getaway. The city centre is about a 20-minute bus ride away, and the bus stops are just outside the property perimeter. The little town that's sort of adjacent is a little more rundown, but the seaside boardwalk probably gets very busy during summer. We went off-season and it was pretty calm, though we found one excellent fish restaurant not too far away.

Stay was brilliant, little bit upset that we paid for a penthouse suite but got given the smallest one, with the smallest patio area and smallest pool, even the one next door was much bigger, other then this though everything was great

This is not a 5 star hotel. The service and food is terrible, when you complain nothing is done. My son has allergies and the restaurant staff didn’t even know the ingredients in the food.

The check in was relatively good
The staff was very kind and attentive.
The room was really nice, with a balcony that gave a view to the sea and pool. Really nice.
The atmosphere of the hotel is very modern and artistic. It has many restaurants with different themes and options for each one. The pool is really nice, seems to be on basis of salty water (at least that is what i felt)
Other then that, everything is quite expansive - but that is expected for this kind of a hotel.
For the room i would give 4, for the sole reason that the toilet - it was just not comfortable at all.
The bad is that again, an expansive 5 star hotel, and they charge extra money for parking and spa entrance (which you need to reserve in advance to enter)
Generally i would not recommend this place, just because there is nothing interesting around it, this hotel seems to be the most interesting thing there is to do in this town.
But if you have to go somewhere in this town, that i thing this hotel os the best option, although quite expansive one

My mum and auntie to whom I arranged this holiday were well treated and looked after.
Food was fresh and staff were great. A bottle of water was provided every day! Thank you for making the stay of these two ladies enjoyable!

Comparing to other hotels in Santa Susanna is this the cleanest and best one. The breakfast was also good! I think the hotel can invest more on wifi network. The wifi was really worst. The toilet were see-through and not soundproofed. It was not comfortable too use.

Amazing place and such a great service.

Spacious and comfortable rooms. Dining onsite which is good because there isn’t much outside of the hotel. My family did walk to a grocery store which was about 15 mins away a few times. The pool area is amazing. Breakfast has a nice selection and was inclusive. What put me off was they refused to give me a box because I wasn’t “leaving for a flight”.. I ended up skipping breakfast that day. They did have laundry services there which I used without issue but at first when I tried to get someone to pick up my clothes and the sheet I filled out for it they told me I had to use the app. The app is very poorly designed so after struggling 1/2 an hour I just dropped it off at the front desk. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just take someone’s order from their room. Anyways all in all it was a good stay just a few incidences which needed work.

The property is gorgeous. We had a suite that included a private terrace and pool which was stunning. The main pool area is beautiful as well. The breakfast buffet has a wide assortment. The minor negatives are; the hallways are very dark at night and the hallway carpets were really dirty.

Hotel room was clean and big enough . Service not the best ..very slow and had to keep looking for someone if I needed something in the pool area …foof for breakfast was ok could have more of a variety and should allow to bring food up to your own room without asking ..

For a supposedly 5 star experience this Hotel fell short on many levels. Check in total chaos - no system - in fact I stood for at least 10 minutes while staff stared at computer screens no acknowledgement of my presence - this was at 7pm to then discover my room was not ready. “Will be ready within the hour” luggage left in luggage room with a guy somewhat dour in demeanour and that was the start of a downhill experience.
Returned to check in to find out exactly when the room would be ready (since apparently check in opens at 3pm..)
Room now mysteriously available - apart from being new I was surprised there were no USB ports to charge phone and still relying on adaptors and plugs.
Shower good but water escaped as door seal inadequate -
Lots noise corridor outside.
Comfy bed.
Complimentary bottle water.
Let’s go eat-
Downstairs in the buffet restaurant chaos again-
There’s a queue at the reception desk and a rather person less individual checking room cards- she neither says hello good evening or any other form of greeting “room” she shouts and types into her computer -
Now have to wait to go to a table - queue no 2
Next arrives a rather tired looking lady wearing a headset. She doesn’t say hello either and whisks me off to a table but I tell her I would like to eat outside - I am sure she rolled her eyes in displeasure and quickly cleared a table and off she went - no bon appetite here - she’s worth watching for her interaction with other guests -
In all avoid

Grounds and hotel were immaculate, if the maids couldnt make up your room first thing they made sure to come back later so always spotless. Only small gripe, pillows weren't that comfy. Otherwise 5☆

What a hotel! Top service, presentation and location. Faultless.

New hotel, still smells of painting. The rooms are nice but nothing more. Toilets in the pool were horribly dirty and the food of the dinner buffet was horrible. Seems they are not ready to serve guests yet. Definitely not worth the super high price I paid for 2 nights (about 900€)
