Absolutely so glad for this oasis (dog friendly truly made it the best).

The rooms were not what we expected. We booked a room with only a bed, no bath. Didnt know that when we booked. The people there were very nice as fixing us up with a very nice room. Thanks to the very nice girl that helped us

Great place to stay if hiking or biking in the area
A lot of like minded folks!

It’s a hostel….theres good and bad. Newer property. My only complaint shower and toilet stalls are really small. Showers have a bad mildew smell.

Seems very European (German?). Scandinavian would be better.Trendy. No chair, tiny room, no window. HIVAC has a mind of its own - some trouble turning down overly enthusiastic A/C that blows on you all night from above. Dormatory coed style bath rooms with some lack of privacy. The younger crowd seem to like this? I appreciate the North American motel more. Staff are excellent.

Friendly staff is always wonderful. Also very dog friendly was nice...
power outages that affected morning coffee was inconvienent...

Poor communication

Best place ever. Love this hostel. Clean, Friendly and way over the top service.

Really unique and amazing for the price! Walkable to a lot of shops and restaurants.
4.7
It is a wonderful property with friendly staff, there just happened to be an event yesterday which made the property a little less enjoyable for regular customers.

Perfect spot for a night
4.7
Very nice place overall, only thing I disliked was the all gender bathrooms. Works for single or no kid couples but with kids it wasnt as ideal but doable. Would I stay here again? Yes but without the kiddos, unless there's rooms with private bathrooms. Also not sure if it was advertised but it be nice to know the room didnt have a private bathroom.

The person at the front desk made us feel very welcomed and explained everything since this was our first time visiting a hostel.
4.7
The location is close to various ski resorts and the price to stay there is so affordable. Staffs are very friendly and place is clean. This time a guy stayed in the same room snored a lot so I could not sleep. I got assigned another quiet room!
4.7
GREAT place for dorm-style lodging! And, for family in one room style too. :-)
4.7
Very helpful employees and the location was great

Fun place, great atmosphere, clean rooms, great community kitchen and great amenities.

Amazing experience. Will definitely stay here again and again!
4.7
Awesome first experience at the pad! Everyone was very nice and I'd come back next time I'm in Colorado! Only part that wasn't perfect is the parking lot, but if you come before 5, you'll be fine when it comes to parking!
4.7
I'd do 5 starts, but parking is a bit of a pain -- in fairness NOT just for The Pad, but for Silverthorne in general.
EXCELLENT place to stay, especially if you can do dorm / hostel style lodging!
Been there before, DEFINITELY will go back!

Nice clean hostel with wonderful staff

Fun and funky place! We had a nice stay and it is a good affordable option for a ski break.
4.7
New property. Very well maintained. Rooms are very small but lots of common area. Internet worked great.
My only complaint is that there is limited parking on site and the overflow parking is quite a walk. They say it is only a couple blocks but I felt like it was a half mile away. Not fun in the dark on a very cold night. Because many visitors are coming as singles or couples and staying in the dorm rooms, the amount of cars far exceeds the available surface parking.
If you get to park at the property, do not take your car anywhere or you will be parking offsite.

Quiet, Clean Safe, Excellent Customer Service

First off we had to walk multiple blocks from their extra parking lot because they don’t have much room but they’re bustling at all. Second the room was small which I knew online, but just be warned, in the room we stayed in our sink was a small child sized sink and the bathroom in genderal was lower quality than you would find in a camper.
There was a blizzard that was coming in the weekend we had paid to stay and we found out about it Friday night coming in once we had already driven over 6 hours to get to Denver. Then we still had to drive an hour and half to the hotel. We called them to see if there was any way we could cancel with a 24 hour notice for the 2nd and 3rd night and they said absolutely not. They only do 72 hour notice. Which I never saw on the online booking. Overal absolutely refused to work with me in any way. Pretty awful stay. Will never be staying here again. Not a good value for the money at all. Go elsewhere.

Loved every min and will definitely be back!

The Pad is great!!

Loved the vibe of the place overall. The main hangout and bar area is great. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was great.
I stayed in a dorm bed for my stay. My main criticisms of the place are:
- There is very limited parking on site and their overflow parking is nearly a half mile away.
- There are no curtains for the dorm beds. It's an easy addition to add a sense of privacy.
- The hallway and bathroom lights were on full blast, even in the middle of the night. If you have to use the bathroom it's a struggle to fall back asleep.
- The tray for holding your phone and stuff in the dorm bed is made out of thin metal. Setting down anything without care makes a loud clang (disturbing others sleep).

new facility and hot tube

All great , the shared room was a bit warm and you couldn’t turn down the AC temp

The common kitchen was very convenient.

Very clean, nice people. Right by the mountains!

We had such a great experience at the Pad. We absolutely loved it. The staff was amazing. Dwayne at the bar was awesome. We loved all the different spaces to hang out and the yoga was a bonus. Loved it all. And we are back next month.
4.7
Great spot! Really close to everything and the staff are phenomenal. The private rooms were quiet, and showers were awesome after a day of snowboarding. Hot tub worked well. Only complaint is I wish there was more parking available closer to the spot. The extra parking is like a 10 minute walk which sucks if it's real cold out.
4.7
Immaculate hip hotel. The micro room is tiny but comfortable enough. Price is right. Super friendly, helpful staff. Fun Bar.

Love this place!
4.7
We only stopped in to stay the night because we didn't want to drive anymore but the place was very nice. First time in a hostel. Great common room and dining/bar area. Couldn't use the hot tub because we weren't prepared for that but it looked nice..
4.7
It is suitable for solo travelers. Very comfortable!

I've stayed at one other Hostel before and this one is 10xs better. The lockers are big, there's plenty of showers, sinks, and restrooms in the community bathrooms, and love that there's a kitchen. The staff were all very pleasant. The location is awesome. However, one thing I would recommend is to add curtains to the beds. Gives us more privacy while sleeping.

Nowhere at the reservation appears that is a room without restroom or shower. It is crazy that there is no warning. A hotel room always have a private bath and restroom. Is a room without windows. Completely unacceptable. This reservation was done through EXPEDIA and nothing was explained. At the front desk they are very gentle is not their fault how EXPEDIA manages their publicity. I expecting an answer from EXPEDIA.
