Caddy Corner is a beautiful home that overlooks the 9th green of the Manzanita Links golf course. Glancing out any of the windows you can catch golfers starting their game. From any of the back windows, you can see the duck pond on the golf course or the distant view of the Pacific Ocean.
Upon entering this home, you will find a living room with a river rock fireplace (presto logs only) that will be a great spot to curl up with a good book and feel the stress of day-to-day life melt away. A modern kitchen with granite counters lets the cook in your group have fun preparing the meals for the group. A trestle dining table will be able to accommodate the entire group. There is a den that leads you to the back deck and provides a place for someone to sleep with the hide-a-bed couch. You will also find the main bedroom with a sliding glass door to the back patio and the main bathroom with dual sinks and a Jacuzzi tub on the entry level. Walking up the stairs you will find a bedroom, a family room with a wet bar, a bunk room for four, and a full bathroom.
Whichever room you are in you will have a view of the golf course. The two-car garage is a great spot for your beach toys: bikes, kayaks, surfboards, golf bags, and any other beach fun gear you bring with you. When you step out of the den or the main bedroom you will find yourself on the big patio that will be the perfect spot for your family BBQs and outdoor lounging. You will find that the beach is only three blocks away and it is terrific for long walks, kite flying, and windsurfing.

Nice, large dining table and comfortable living room
4.0 / 10.0
It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. No sidewalks, but very walkable. Lots of wildlife: we saw chipmunks, rabbits, raccoon, and elk. Easy walk to the beach.
Kitchen is an odd layout: two sinks and very little counter space. Most of the island (other than the small sink area) is bar height, so not good workspace.
House wasn’t very clean. Lots of dust and cobwebs and the garage is covered in sand. Bed linens were not organized and tucked into weird places, no where near where you would want them (pillows are in different room than cases, linens for hide-a-bed and futon were in different room from the actual bed). Pillows are old and stained. Hide-a-bed was so uncomfortable it wasn’t useable, even for a child. Garage “shower” has drywall, instead of waterproof surround so is moldy. It also doesn't have a drain basin and sends water across the garage floor.
Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

2nd time staying in this home. It’s a great value. Very functional, good beach access without breaking the bank. It’s always been clean and well kept. We will come again.

The property was not as advertised. The house was in disrepair. Carpets with filthy. Toilet seat broken. Garbage was left on front lawn. Towels left in dryer were damp. House has not been updates and really should not be rented. We left early because of the house conditions. I've requested a refund from VRBO on this. Please address.

This place is great! Highly recommend, would book again! It was clean, well-stocked kitchen wise (toaster, toaster oven, microwave, stove, two sinks, plates/bowls, etc) and has plenty of space for lounging and playing games.
We have three kids, so extra blankets and towels go a long way for us and we appreciated that there was an abundance of these and plenty of spaces to sleep comfortably. The kids were greeted each morning by a few bunnies outside, nibbling on the vegetation, which is always a plus! Fun to watch the golfers if we wanted.
There is a shower in the garage to help wash sandy feet – love this and an amazing soaking tub of the main suite!
Conservatively, I’d say this is a 3 city-block walk to the beach. Very easy and doable. You can walk in almost all directions and end up somewhere fun -the beach, the campground or the main strip of Manzanita. Location is excellent.
One update to the house I would make is adding window coverings to the main rooms- kitchen/dining/living on the main floor – feel a bit exposed at night when the sun sets early and all the lights are on for dinner even with bushes/trees. All of the bedrooms have appropriate window coverings.

Walk right across the street and golf or just a couple blocks and on the beach. The town is very nice.

The home itself is very nice. The bed mattresses were a little hard for our taste. We were offered a late check out for an additional cost which did not go well. We were locked out after 10 but had paid until 2 pm.

Nice to watch the golfers. Although the patio was sappy and lots of ants. But overall it was a lovely stay

It was a great house for our needs. We loved how peaceful it was. Manzanita is a great little town.

2 min walk to the beach, 5 min to town. Fun watching golfers, bunnies and deer. Outdoor grill was unexpected bonus, some beach toys, board games and cleanliness made a for a great family vacation. Our only minor gripes are already being addressed by host like slow shower drain, dusty ceiling fan, couple stained (but washed) pillows. Would definitely go back!

Location- located on the 9th hole of the golf course. Easy walk in to town. The driveway is very, very steep. If you’ll be out late make sure and turn the outside lights on before you leave. There is no motion sensor lighting which leaves you using your phone flash light to walk up the path to the door and key in the door code.
Kitchen has all the pots, pans, dishes and such that you would need.
Bathroom - the main bathroom has a nice deep soaking tub, plenty of linens and provisions were provided. A full length mirror would be nice to have somewhere in the house.
Utility - washer and dryer worked efficiently. It was really nice to come home after a week of vacation with clean clothes.
Bedrooms- plenty of space in the bedrooms. The main bedroom has a very hard queen bed. We ended up sleeping upstairs after the first night because it was just too hard. We referred to it as the Flinstone bed.
Communication - TERRIBLE! I’ve actually waited two weeks to submit a review, hoping they would follow through with what they “say” they’ll do. So…we asked about an earlier check in, said they would let us know. DID NOT. TV did not work, asked for help. NO RESPONSE. I left my expensive hair dryer and curling iron in the bathroom cupboard, contacted them immediately with a CC for the $25 fee to send it to me. 2 weeks later and contacting them every day all I get is “PLEASE BE PATIENT, WE’RE WORKING ON IT”. I have no faith in them.

We loved our stay at this house right on the golf course. The first hole is right by the house. It is a short block away from the beach. Beautiful little town. We would stay again for sure. The check in was very easy and they were good at sending messages to check in and out easily. The only complaint I have is that if you had a question or problem is hard to get a hold of anyone. They eventually answered but it took 12 hours or more to get a response. And they did make sure to take care of everything. Just Glad we didn’t have any trouble getting in or any real issues.

Love the location and proximity to the golf course. Would be much improved if they would do some pruning with the trees so they could take better advantage of all the great views of the golfers and golf course

Every Vrbo, I have checked out at 11, but this one is 10am! It was a great property but that extra hour makes a big difference which big families. Also for the price !

We had a great stay at Caddy Corner. It is in a great location close to the beach which was why we picked it. The pictures make it look like the walk to the beach is longer than it is, but it was quick walk for us even with a bunch of young kids (maybe 5-7 minutes). The neighborhood is quiet. We did not have any problems with early morning noise from the golf course. The kitchen was well-stocked, but small. There is a coal bbq outside, but it is for owner use only. It was comfortable to relax in the family room downstairs. There are some board games and puzzles, but if you have young kids, it would be best to bring some of your own toys. The large dining table is perfect for large groups. The master bedroom with master bath are downstairs. There is another room downstairs with a pull out bed from the sofa which was not very comfortable. Upstairs, you have a bedroom with a large bed. There is another room with 2 bunk beds well-suited for 4 kids. There is a futon in the family room that you can use. We were a party of 4 adults and 5 kids and we felt like we had plenty of space.

The house is very comfortable, pleasant, well equipped and and great place to play hide and seek with a 5-year-old. Hard to find at night! No street lights or lights on the house, until we finally found it and turned them on ourselves. Short walk to fabulous Nahelem Bay beach—very wide and shallow for a long way out.

It was a lovely home. Great place to sleep and hangout. It was rainy and we didn't mind staying inside for long stretches.

This craftsman home looks and feels like it was built or remodeled last year. About 200 yards and you are at the beach, 50 yards and you are at the first tee of Manzanita Links, 10 minute walk to town. 2.5 baths and 5 different rooms to sleep in, wow. There were 4 bikes when we were there. 3 of them rideable. Gears and brakes met the minimum. Would recommend that they only be ridden on flat ground with plenty of room to stop. Advise bringing a tire pump since the one there seemed to be faulty. Again this is a classy place for those who want to have a very comfortable place to relax or entertain. Everything from lighting to bathrooms were nice. We will be back - worth the price.

Only 1/2 mile walk to town and if you don’t want to go all the way, there are exits to the beach nearby. House is in a quiet neighborhood and outdoor sitting area excellent. Beds are comfy, plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen is a one person space and living room furniture could use an update as cushions are getting a bit saggy.

Please streamline paperwork. Received paperwork after paying for home rental. I like to read ahead before paying. Notified of COVID/-19 paperwork on route as well. I like to have things done prior to leaving. Can’t say I was more pleased for the money spent than staying at a motel.

We enjoyed this house. Listing is accurate. Kitchen is well-stocked (but no spices, salt, or sugar, presumably due to pandemic precautions). Drip coffee maker, burr grinder, and "vesuvius-style" stove-top espresso maker. We bought excellent beans at the Manzanita Coffee Company.
In the main living area, you have great views of the golf course, and the golfers have good views of you, so keep this in mind. Bedrooms are private. Easy walk to beach; short drive to "downtown". Would gladly stay here again.
