Comfortable room near the autobahn

Good room, good lighting and many power sockets. Good instructions to get the key from an external key box. Right off the autobahn - not in Bad Honnef. Quite a basic hotel but comfortable.

Their restaurant isn't open for dinner but a 5-10 minute walk to excellent Martynas restaurant.

Für eine Nacht vollkommen in Ordnung

Die Größe des Doppelzimmers.

Die direkte Lage an der Autobahn. Wir hatten ein Zimmer nach hinten raus, aber es war schon ziemlich laut. Mich hat es persönlich nicht gestört. Aber für Menschen, die Ruhe brauchen, eher weniger geeignet. Die Parkplatzsituation ist auch etwas schwierig. Wir hatten einen riesen Reisebus da, der natürlich viel Platz weg genommen hat. Aber man arrangiert sich.

Comfortable room but no restaurant.

Good room, lots of sockets and USBs

Their restaurant is closed! When I booked it showed it was open - but it wasn't! Why wasn't I told? I chose this because of the on-site restaurant. It is in the edge of an industrial estate. I walked about 10 minutes to a good restaurant, Martynas.

Würde ich wieder buchen!

Alles einfach, gut und zweckmäßig. Gute Heizung. Guter Perlator am Waschbecken. Kühlschrank. Schön eingerichtet (wie dargestellt) Hilfsbereite, freundliche Mitarbeiter. Ich hatte ohne Frühstück gebucht.

Die Parkplatz Einfahrt hat leider ein paar unangenehme Schlaglöcher. Gardinen/Vorhänge waren teilweise aus der Schiene, das wertet leider das schöne Zimmer etwas ab.

Freundlich

Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig an der A3 und an einer gut befahrbaren Straße, den Verkehr nimmt man im Zimmer aber nicht wahr! Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, die Möbel machen einen neuen Eindruck und das Bett/die Matratze ließ einen ordentlichen Schlaf zu! Herauszuheben ist das freundliche Personal im Hotelservice und beim Frühstück! Das Frühstück scheint zwar auf den ersten Blick teuer, erfüllt aber alle Erwartungen! Rundum gut und gerne wieder! Trotz des geschlossenen Restaurant ist eine kulinarische Versorgung gesichert! Mit dem Restaurant „Dachsbau“ wird auch hier voll gepunktet, Service freundlich und Essen gut!

Kein Hotel im Sinne des Begriffes Hotel, sondern eine Pension. War zum ersten und letzten Mal da.

Die Dinge, die mir gefallen haben, sind schnell niedergeschrieben: Die Frühstücksdame war sehr nett und der Portier ebenfalls. Freier Parkplatz direkt am Haus und alles in der Gegend schnell erreichbar, da das Haus direkt an der Autobahn gelegen ist. Mein Zimmer war gut schallisoliert, sodass ich vom Verkehr nichts mitbekommen habe.

Kaum WLAN-Verbindung im Zimmer. Arbeiten mit dem Laptop war unmöglich, da die Verbindung immer weg war. Der Fernseher ist von der Grundlautstärke so laut eingestellt, dass man erst einmal von Lautstärke 52 auf 20 runter muss, damit es angenehm wird, zudem waren die Fernsehprogramme ein Lottospiel. Mal da, mal nicht da (SAT-Empfang). Zur Krönung war der Fernseher an der oberen Kante im Bild beschädigt. In der Dusche kam nur schwach Wasser raus. Zwar kann man den Duschkopf verstellen, aber das ist ohne positive Wirkung. Es waren rostige Duschwandhalter an den Wänden. Die Deckenlampe im Bad war defekt, lediglich die am Waschbecken funktionierte. Der Boden im Zimmer war in den Ecken mit Staub bedeckt, so als hätte man schnell durchgefegt aber die Ecken vergessen. Am Anreisetag dauerte es lange, nachdem die Heizung erst einmal eingeschaltet werden musste, bis sich Wärme im Raum entwickelte. Da sollte das Haus vorheizen! Feuermelder im Zimmer und Flur fehlten!

Prima voor als je op doorreis bent.

Het hotel ligt op 1 minuut van de snelweg. Fijn als je op doorreis bent. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk.

Helaas was er geen mogelijkheid om te dineren en te ontbijten, maar het personeel gaf ons enkele alternatieven die prima waren.

Lovely little place for overnight stay.

Location, warm welcome, cleanliness, comfortable, lovely breakfast.

Noise from motorway but I live in country side and I am not used to it. The convenient location definitely surpassed a little bit of noise.

Very good

This was our one night stay on a very long travel through the Europe. The hotel is very close to the motorway A3, so convenient for quick next day start. The breakfast buffet had number of products to choose from.

Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room and the floor standing fan was not enough to cool the room. However, it was extremely hot summer day.

Very good

It was better than expected. We only stayed for a night rest whilst travelling in Europe. Comfortable beds, clean, spacious room, the windows facing the back of the hotel, so minimal noise from the nearby motorway.

The pillows were too soft, but I understand this is a personal preference.

perfect for an easy highway stop

the staff I dealt with were lovely! the location for travelling along that highway are perfect for a comfortable easy stop. I didn’t try the food but it smelt good and the people I saw leaving from eating looked happy

Pleasant

- uncomplicated check-in and check-out - there's a fridge in the room - good WiFi signal - clean enough (except the shower) - shops aren't too far away - heated towel rack in the bathroom - renovated rooms (again except the shower)

- black hairs in the shower and I'm not black-haired😏 - no water boiler - stayed 4 nights and the room didn't get cleaned once... wouldn't be a problem, if it was communicated and would reflect in the price. - feels more like a Motel than a hotel - located right next to the highway and a busy crossroad with no sidewalks - low water pressure in the shower

Wonderful restaurant and staff 5 *

We were very very disappointed about the fact there was no breakfast available even at extra price as there was no mention of this when we booked. There were no staff to do breakfast at this time of year as on holiday to provide breakfast. We would have been quite happy if there had been tea and coffee making facilities in the room as we expected at this price so we could at least have had a hot drink before going down to a recommended cafe in the town

Easy parking, nice size room. Restaurant has improved (stayed here before) Staff helpful and jolly.

Food selection was OK. Bread rolls and eggs were lovely. Maybe a larger selection of cereals and yoghurt.

Breakfast tea should be served in a proper T-Pot, not hot water in a cup with T-bag. The restaurant also served tea with T-bag in a cup of hot water. Sorry , but I don't like tea served like this.

Great hospitality and nice hotel to stay

We were welcomed by the Canadian owner whilst he had waited for us because we were coming in late at night. He was super friendly and offered us more then we payed for. The room was nice and we all slept really good. The breakfast was really good and tasteful. We were positively surprised by the hospitality of this family hotel. I would recommend this hotel, especially when you are on your way and need a place to stay for the night. The highway is very close by which makes this hotel a perfect place to rest when you are traveling. It’s also close to some big cities and of course the Rhine.
