Everything was just perfect: the size of the apartment, the cleanliness, the lady that checked us in, the facilities.
Nothing to complain about
4.0
The apartment is nicely decorated. The air conditioning works well. Nice location and free close parking.
Upon arrival at the apartment we quickly noticed that there was a dish washer packed full of dirty dishes. I told the owner via text and she apologized. When her husband came by, I also told him and I also told him we couldn't find dishwasher detergent. He showed me the dishwasher detergent but didn't say anything about the dirty dishes. The food waste was dried on and simply running the dishes through the dish washer wasn't going to do the trick. They would have to be scrubed by hand. Additionally, there were no sponges or dish cloths. I didn't feel like doing someone else's dirty dishes, so I went out and got paper plates, cups, and utensils.
We also noted that there was laundry in the washing machine. The owner did come and pick this up. Also my sister-in-law, who had taken off her shoes and was wearing white socks, pointed out how black and filthy her socks had gotten within only a few minutes. The floors did not appear to be clean.
None of the doors within the apartment locked. This included the bathroom and bedrooms, and with an apartment for five people, a locking bathroom is needed. We asked for a key but never got one. Once we settled in and started taking showers, we ran out of hot water before everyone got a shower.
Also after the first day we began to notice a very foul odor, like rotten garbage. We couldn't quite identify where it was coming from, but we confirmed it was none of our stuff. It was something pre-existing in the apartment. Maybe it was the dirty dishes? There was a single locked room that we didn't have access to and it may have been coming from there.
There were also smaller inconveniences, like only one key for the front door (for an apartment that can house six people - we were two families staying). The owner did bring us another key, but we were told it was a master key for their apartments so we had to be careful with it.

The apartment is definitely perfect, high-standard. Location is super nice, close to supermarkets and to the train station. Visiting Cinque-Terre was super easy. There is also a park and a bay close to it.

Friendly, helpful owners. They live upstairs and quickly brought us an extra knife when we requested it. Location was convenient for Cinque Terra and there was a nice park for kids across the street. Apartment was nicely decorated.
The kitchen was well stocked with plates and pots & pans but needed more cutlery. Master bed was not very comfortable.

Alessandro and his wife are extremely friendly and helpful. The communication was very easy and our entire stay went smoothly.
The flat is super modern and well equipped.
The location is fine, 10min from one train station going to the Cinque Terre, and few steps from supermarkets. Lots of free parking options right there. Super convenient.
Walls are super thin so we can hear the neighbours conversations and cars/dogs/ people in the street.

Wonderful reception from owner, welcoming and incredibly helpful.

Amazing hospitality from the owners. The place is clean, cozy. It is close to grocery and pharmacy (we went to both during our stay). There is a nice park right in front of the apartment. It is fully furnished so you can cook and wash clothes (which is a key for those who will spend a great time at the beaches in Cinque Terre :) ). We spent around 10 min by feet from La Spenzia Migliarina station, which is quite close.
I just loved everything. For those who will spend most of the days in Cinque Terre, consider something: you need to take the train, you will spend almost 6 euros one-way. You might consider this too much per day (12 euros), however, I would prefer to stay in a nice place, quiet and clean then in one of the places at CT (noisy and not so clean). But, of course, it will depends on your priorities.
