Handy central location self contained basement flat

The location was great and we managed to get free on street parking . The communication with the host was excellent. Nice private self contained flat with own private entrance. Also own private back door to the garden area.

Smelt slightly of damp and could do with modernisation but exactly what we expected for such a reasonable rate. A television would be a very handy addition but it was fine without one as we were only staying one night.

Fair. That’s it!

Location and kitchen amenities. Bedroom looks nice.

All kitchen amenities are available but nothing is in good condition! The worst thing, RADIATOR was not working!!! Toilet curtain was too normal; whenever we took a shower, had to mopped the floor.

The bed was comfortable

Very wet mouldy smell in the house. Would have been nice if the back area was cleaned up to sit out there

Okay but foul smell of damp

For the price you pay, it is okay for a night. Spacious property, bed was fine. Had a hair dryer. Close to city centre

Foul smell of damp all throughout property. Black mould spots in bathroom. Steps down to property narrow and steep, very dark as no light and slippy when wet. Not the nicest area. No parking as permit only immediately outside property. Was able to find parking on next street. Noise throughout night from upstairs. Main issue was the damp smell and mould - this really needs sorting if you are charging people to stay here.

Nice flat and very friendly owners

Nice flat everything we needed with extras .... hairdryer , washing machine, shampoo, cleaning items , washing items, Wi-Fi (sometimes it went off but can't be helped as flat in basement and signal sometimes lost)

No TV but not needed as only stayed 1 night

Not sure about this one...

The bed was comfy. Flat in a quiet area on a residential street.

The flat needs some renovating. Especially the kitchen area. The Wi-Fi was quite unreliable, and it kept kicking me out.

Nice apartment for a short stay

The apartment is in a nice location. It's close to the city center. There are essential cooking utensils in the open kitchen for making a simple meal. It's a good sized apartment for two people to stay over a long weekend to explore the city. The owner is very helpful and responsive. I needed assistance with the wifi and the owner helped me out right away. Although the internet connecton didn't work for me, I appreciate the help.

Great little place

It was nice. Looked like the pics, added bonus of outside area. Great for the price and host was responsive and nice to deal with.

The wifi is slow, but it is free. Our 4g worked at the flat so wasn’t too bad but obviously used data.

Unpleasant

Nothing at all. The bedroom was the only place acceptable.

The location of the apartment is in a dark street, the stairs where too high and unsafe. The apartment itself is not inviting to stay. The internet was not reliable. There’s mold in the bathroom. The hot water does not work. It took us half an hour to find out where to turn on the light and to turn on the water heater.

You have a lovely place and would defenatly book again. Thank you for the stay.

Ease of booking. Parking very close to the front. Many things even down to shugar were supplied.

A lite would be good on the steps so a litle safer with luggage. And perhaps a pull out couch so an oder son or daughter could have come as a break.

Good for price

Was surprised with the size of the apartment, very roomy. Very good for price, was clean and had extras like tea, coffee, sugar. Lovely space and good location for university. Access to outside space which was nice, and check in was easy and efficient.

Can hear upstairs neighbours very clearly, but didn't really bother me during my stay. Some things were used and dated, and could do with a TV.

Comfortable, affordable, fab communication from hosts - looking forward to staying again!

Fab location, close to town, the beach and any and all amenities- we walked everywhere on our stay. Quiet road, no noise at all heard!

Some aspects of the property could do with some touch ups, and the stairs down have lights only on the bottom half which was a little scary in the wet weather as they are uneven.

The hosts are wonderful, can't fault them or the flat for what you pay. The only problem is the noise from the upstairs flat. Its like a herd of elephants above you, so left early to go home to sleep. I would love to stay again but you need to sort out the sound proofing.

There was no lights working apart from the bedroom! there was cracks in the roof, the apartment wasn't clean at all! all together was not happy with the stay! tried getting in touch with the owner and they ignored all calls and emails

Good All Rounder Apartment In Central Swansea For Value & Quality

I liked the simplicity of everything required, was catered for. It was well thought out for visitors new and familiar to Swansea. I liked the location central but not by the busy high streets or venues, a short walking distance. I liked the unexpected personal touches such as not needing to pop out to get milk for hot drinks or morning cereal. I liked staying and finding the best value apartment in Swansea.

Not finding the moment to taste the Welsh Cakes that were found on the counter on arrival.
