The Private Cabana is a perfect getaway for couples, traveling buddies, solo adventurers, and for people in town for business. You will have the cottage completely to yourself with electronic access and check-in. Enjoy lovely views of trees and trails of the Pogonip hills from your room or the newly developed outdoor patio. My husband and I stayed here for one night after staying in a few different hotels and were so happy with the change of pace with an easy check-in, our own little patio, and a beautiful view. Close to downtown Santa Cruz and the wharf in a nice neighborhood. We would stay here again!

The cabana was clean and even had a little patio out back to just unwind and relax after a long drive. There was a kitty that welcomed us on the patio which was a treat, we enjoy our cats and dogs so it was a nice treat. Super quiet neighborhood, got a great nights sleep and would recommend for anyone.

It was a very nice room. Hudson was a very sweet dog. The view was decent, better than most hotels. When I was planning my stay, the forecast was normal for Santa Cruz, even the day before I went, the forecast was 67. However the actual high was over 80, which with the western facing windows meant this room was very warm. It would be nice to have an AC unit available for these warm days, but I knew there was no AC before booking.

We had a wonderful weekend visit to Santa Cruz to attend a friend's wedding. Jono was easy to communicate with and everything was as described. The bed was very comfortable! We'd stay here again.

My friend and I had a very pleasant stay here on our way down the California coast. The room was clean, well stocked with, and the large bed was very comfortable. The balcony view was very nice as well. Highly recommend!

This space was perfect for my stay. I visited to do a few day hikes in the Redwood forests and the proximity of this location was nice. Check-in was easy and the place was perfect for my needs. I was a short drive from downtown and some quality restaurants. I would recommend staying here and would love to stay here again in the future.

The rental was comfortable with a nice view from the patio. It has a nice, big bed and basic amenities (body wash, soap, coffee, fridge, microwave, hair dryer). The hosts were great at communicating, and the check in and parking were convenient. It was great for our purposes of having a home base while we spent most of our time out enjoying the city. Not very big, but we considered it a good value and would stay here again.

Door lock was not programmed before my arrival, was left outside in the rain for 20 minutes calling the owner until I gave up and knocked on the front door. All the windows were left open in the room and so it was freezing when we got there. Shower door was too small --> water all over the bathroom floor Balcony was great for morning breakfast Bed was comfy and big

We loved this quiet spot in central Santa Cruz. Tiny but perfect for a couple of days. Jono was very gracious and accommodating. Deck with view is a nice bonus!

My wife and I came in on a one night visit. A little bit of trouble with the entry process, but Jono was super quick at responding and fixing the issue. Clean and spacious bathroom, comfy bed, and the private patio was excellent. Not sure I would stay here for a longer period than a weekend, only because there was no dresser to put away my clothes. I prefer not to live out of my suitcase on trips. For a short trip, I would stay here again.

Great cabana with large bed and nice mile walk to downtown through great neighborhood. The veranda is the best - morning, afternoon or evening! Overlooking the river valley with a glass of wine or coffee was fantastic and just set a pace for relaxation!

Not what we expected. Description should be more detailed...as in it is in a neighborhood and not walking distance to the pier or local attractions for seniors as we are. No a/c...We left after first night

The bed was very cozy and comfortable. The shower was like a tsunami. The towels were plush. Everything was very clean and well organized. The deck looking over the mountain while the sun sets was a very nice bonus.

This was a perfect spot to stay-and the parking spot is right in front It was private while being right next to the hosts house -there was a patio just for the little room that was lovely and private—and even though I was warned I might see their dogs, I was hopping to see them and didn’t….I love dogs and left my two at home❤️ It was clean and had the small things that make accommodations better—a Keurig and pods little creamers and sugar A little fridge Soap in the shower and a hair dryer Oh the shower is great—lots of light and lots of water pressure and stayed really hot for my ridiculously long shower!!! A little ironing board and iron were available And the bed was so big and comfy!!!! I would definitely recommend it and definitely stay again!!!!

The room was clean and the deck was lovely. We liked that it was in a quiet residential neighborhood. Host provided a fast charger for our electric car which made the visit really easy. Would stay there again for sure.

This host is exceptionally easy to work with and very responsive. The cabana is clean and cozy. The bed is very comfortable and we really enjoyed the slate patio. The unit is attached the host’s private home, but very private. We had a small plumbing problem and the host took care of it immediately. Overall, a very relaxing stay. I would give it 10 stars if possible!

A lovely surprise in the middle of the neighborhood. Check in was easy and the view was gorgeous! The bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in! Close to downtown Santa Cruz and the beach, this is a wonderful stay for travelers!
