This upstairs apartment is in the middle of it all! Duck Island is a unique part of Tremont, with easy access to Ohio City and Downtown Cleveland. You can walk, bike and scooter to all of the most exciting Cleveland restaurants, bars, and venues. If you love the outdoors, you'll have amazing access to an extensive trail system, parks and sandy beaches.
This upstairs apartment was recently renovated. It was furnished with high end furniture and stylish decor.
This beautiful private apartment was newly renovated to be stylish, clean and most importantly, comfortable. It is on the entire 2nd floor of a duplex, with a private entrance. The master bedroom is huge, featuring a walk in closet, king size bed and TV. The second bedroom has a full size bed and armoire. Enjoy cooking in the clean modern kitchen with brand new stainless appliances, and eat at the butcher block dining table. There is an ensuite washer and dryer outside of the bathroom for your convenience.

Property is in a great location with great restaurants nearby. Went to Cleveland for a weekend of football and was not disappointed. Great access to downtown and the game.

The property was exactly as represented. The location was ideal for visiting Progressive Rate Field, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the West Side Market, and the many other Cleveland attractions. The property was well maintained and very clean. The Host was exceptionally responsive and genuinely interested in assuring our stay was pleasant and met our expectations.

We took a family vacation to explore Cleveland, with our 3 and 5 year old. This place had all the space we needed to be comfortable, was walking distance to so many great restaurants and city sites, including the famous West Side Market. The condo was also very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Mark was very friendly and helpful through the entire process and checked in occasionally and provided some recommendations for our family. We had a fabulous trip and would stay here again!

We loved being able to walk to West Side Market (about 8 minute walk). We picked up ingredients for several meals there and it was lovely.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The beds were nice. Nice and well stocked kitchen with utensils for cooking. The stairs to the apartment is fairly steep so be aware of that if you have mobility issues.
We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely come back if we would be in the area.

Our stay at the Duck Island Getaway was amazing. The VRBO was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was safe, welcoming and within walking distance to many great restaurants, shops, West Side Market and is a short drive to downtown. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay and we will certainly stay here again when we come back to Cleveland.

We loved this property. The living room was perfect for our family of three. The front bedroom was spacious and the second bedroom was great for our teenage son. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We took a Lyft to downtown and it was a ten minute drive.

Very pleased with the cleanliness, size and layout. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do and see. It was a girls getaway trip from Chicago to check out the Rock n Roll hall of Fame & Cleveland's neighborhoods. Would stay here again!!

Highly recommend this property. Super clean and great location to Ohio City for walking to West Side Market and local restaurants and breweries. RTA is very close to take train into downtown.
Host was very responsive to questions I had before our trip.

My mother and I needed a nice place to stay for one night while in town for an appointment. We were very pleased with this nice apartment. The host was quick to reply to any questions we had prior to us arriving. Everything about this place was warm and inviting! We will definitely stay here again, if it is available, the next time we are in the area .

My husband, two teenage sons and I stayed here. We were in town for a volleyball tournament at Huntington Convention Center. Perfect location as it was a 8 minute drive!
Duck Island Getaway was clean and had many comforts of home! Neighborhood was safe and many options for dinner!
So glad we made the choice to stay here and not a hotel! We would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay with our toddler! The apartment is in a great location - we walked to dinner every night. The apartment is very toddler friendly and the neighborhood is quiet so we didn’t have to worry about noise. We easily could’ve walked downtown or to a Cavs or Guardians game. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Cleveland!

This was the perfect location for our first visit to Cleveland. We enjoyed exploring the Tremont neighborhood which had lots of options for drinks and dining within walking distance. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. It had everything we needed plus some. We also took a quick train ride to Progressive field to catch a Guardians game and enjoyed a sunset walk home over the Hope Memorial Bridge. We would definitely stay here again if back in Cleveland!

My wife and I gifted our adult daughter, a Guardians and Brewers fan, with a trip to Cleveland for the weekend series. We wanted to stay within walking distance of Progressive Field and we could not have chosen a more perfect location than Duck Island Getaway. Tucked in Ohio City where you are within minutes of wonderful breweries, restaurants and the West Side Market, this place puts you in the perfect place to enjoy this developing area of Cleveland. We did not want to rent a car and this unit is a couple of blocks from the Rapid Transit train station that runs from the airport. Very easy to walk to the unit.
Our host, Mark, was easy to reach and super prompt to respond. He kindly offered to allow us to drop off our luggage so we could explore Ohio City before our check-in time. This unit is very nicely furnished with everything we needed. We did not need to go out for any basic necessity, and we were treated with some chocolates on the table and coffee, cream and sugar for mornings. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Mark and his wife were perfect hosts and available for any questions. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it to all.

We only stayed one night but we’ll be back! The rooms are much larger than they appear in the photos. Impeccably clean - even the fridge! Very nicely decorated with new color palette. Quiet area. Nicely stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, coffee maker, etc. COMFY beds! And nice darker curtains so we night owls are nice and happy when we’re not ready to see the sunlight until we’re ready to! Tons of room for clothes and suitcases.
Addressing what others have said about the stairs - they’re a little narrow and a little steep but not at all what I was expecting when I read the reviews. I probably wouldn’t have noticed had I not read about it. The stairs are typical for the time period with lots of character with them, the railing, and very cool exposed brick in the unit.
Loved that there were a couple of other areas for our teenage daughter to do her hair and put on her makeup without hogging the bathroom.
Cleveland water was fine - we didn’t need to purchase water bottles or a filtered water pitcher.
Owner was very responsive and friendly.
We’re all looking forward to returning. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Cleveland in general has really upped their game since the last time we’ve been here which was about 15 years ago.

Clean and neat. Good supply of basic kitchen/bathroom supplies. Close to the city but in a quiet residential area. Worked out quite well as a family (2 adults, 2 young children). Hosts were attentive and made us feel welcome.

Mark is an awesome host. Everything was new and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed including spices, coffee and creamer.

Fantastic stay!
Great stay at this location. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Mark went above and beyond and offered suggestions on things to do, places to visit, etc. He responded quickly when asking questions. The place is great. Very clean and well appointed. The beds are super comfortable; I especially appreciate this because you never know what you’re going to get in a rental. It’s in a great and safe location close to downtown and places to eat and drink. Highly recommend!
