Forgoing convention, this house feels more akin to a sun-soaked colonial house featuring high ceilings, reinforced hurricane-proof windows, marble floors, and wood finishes throughout. The main house is over 7,000 sqft, features 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a home office, 4 full and 1 half bathrooms, and a front landscaped backyard. This home also generously includes an 80-foot water frontage deep water dock in front of majestic mangroves, an outdoor pool, and 15 15-person river jet therapy hot tub. There is nothing like this house in San Juan or the metro area. Only protected waterfront boating access residences on the entire north coast of Puerto Rico
Enter into an expansive second-floor colonial parlor floor that houses an open kitchen and spacious living/dining area, one of the home office spaces, a hot desk office set up, and the guest bedroom. This floor is truly a sight to behold, with varied ceiling heights spanning from 11 feet to a rare 22.5 feet. White walls house surrounding a courtyard with a recently renovated modern hurricane-proof glass roof allowing the sunkissed Caribbean sun to drip inside the heart of the home. The western-facing sunset-soaked kitchen gazes out onto the mangroves with one of the best views of the house. The kitchen is outfitted with the finest finishes and Wolf Range, an oven with a Subzero Fridge, and a generous pantry with access directly to the garden. Enjoy dinners in the separate dining and movies in the living room, or enjoy your meals al fresco on the 400 sqft deck off the kitchen that overlooks the waterfront.
The first floor hosts a luxurious master suite with a light-filled and grand main bedroom, a full bathroom featuring a double separate glass shower, his and hers bathroom sinks, and a generous walk-in closet. This floor also features the second bedroom with a full en-suite bathroom and walking closet.
This floor also features a courtyard as the heart of the house, with a fully equipped kitchenette looking out to the pool with an option of opening the sliding doors to fully enjoy an open-air hosting space that overlooks the pool and receives added light from the roof glass.
Outside you'll enjoy state-of-the-art outdoor spa facilities with an outdoor pool with steps directly into the heart of the house as well as a renovated teak sauna and a 15 people hot tub that turns into a river jet swimming pool. Unlike any property in the metro area, the house is also equipped with a private dock on the back with direct access to the marina and Carolina bay directly into the ocean. Currently Set up as a Surf Chalet, there is a world-class off-shore surf break 6 minutes by Jet Ski, and direct access to 9 miles of beachfront.
The house is equipped with water filters on all floors and a backup water tank with double filters that provides the entire house with pristine water for drinking and washing. There are independent AC systems in every room. This house comes with Tesla solar panels and backup energy, allowing the house to operate entirely off the grid in case of emergencies. This home is additionally fiber ready to work from home at speed light and has a state-of-the-art alarm system.
Located 10 minutes from the international San Juan airport in a quiet gated community and only 15 to 20 minutes from Downtown San Juan, this house is a one-of-a-kind experience in Puerto Rico.
