The Storybook Nook is a small, fairytale themed, secluded cabin, featuring storybook style interior architecture. Perfect for a romantic getaway, writer's retreat, two friends, or a solo traveler looking to unwind in serene nature. Nestled on its own plateau on a hillside in the woods, this home aims to create the feeling that you have stumbled onto an enchanted cottage in the forest. Despite the private feel, you are located only a mile from The Village and the Lake Arrowhead Brewery. 7 minutes from Sky Park/ Santa’s Village! ::Please note:: 36 steps from driveway to cabin. Upstairs bedroom ceiling height 6’. Bathroom is downstairs from bedroom. Two doorbell cameras, one at each entrance.

Charming, quiet, peaceful, nicely decorated little gem in the woods. The right amount of theming without being "kitsch". Extra touches like, a phonograph, games, books, make a quiet getaway relaxing.

Absolutely magical stay at this fairytale cabin! If you’re looking for every little detail to have charm & whimsy this is the place to go. Also, impeccably clean, pet friendly and has everything you need for a comfortable stay! We were not expecting heavy snow during our visit and came completely unprepared. Owners were communicative throughout our stay and did not hesitate to help us get to our new lodging safely!

Our stay was perfect! My daughter and I wanted a quiet peaceful getaway to relax and work on some craft projects. This was the perfect spot! The photos don't do it justice. The house is tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood close to the Village. The hidden gems of fairytale decor are spread out indoors and outdoors. We enjoyed our stay so much and got a couple of days of beautiful hiking weather as well asa couple of snow days! Lydia responded quickly to messages and David came by to clear the snow before we left. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Great little cottage, private and tucked away in the mountainside, yet within close proximity to the shops and restaurants at Arrowhead Village. We visited a week after a snowstorm, so there was a nice snowy setting. The driveway, walkway, and stairs were all cleared of snow and ice before we arrived. We truly appreciated all the cohesive thematic details that certainly made it feel like we were in a storybook.

Everything nook and cranny of this home was uniquely curated. From the amazing shower curtain, the acorn knobs, the fireplace, and wood trim, it was so very special. A very quiet location yet just a mile from the village, this is an ideal hideaway for a couple. Everything was absolutely perfect. Toasty warm, comfy bed, and stunning views of the moon through the trees. Our favorite cabin to date!

Really enjoyed this cabin! The size is perfect for one young couple and a small dog. The kitchen was perfectly stocked to cook our thanksgiving meal (cottage pie). Lydia was very responsive and kind. And the location was secluded enough for privacy/quiet while still being in range for some last minute food shopping.

My wife and I absolutely loved this beautiful little cottage. It is, by far, the most charming and romantic vrbo in which we have stayed. The home is tucked away and feels very private. There are cute gnomes, cute faces and fairy like homes to find as you explore the property. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, unique and romantic get away.

Loved everything about this place. So many little details. Feels secluded which is what I was looking for. Super close to town though. Only issue was shower didn’t work at first. Had to find the water heater and gas to stove was shut off.

We absolutely loved this small, magical cottage! It is soooo cute! It comes with just about everything you’d need and even had extras like snacks and coffee. Lots of little details, all around, to make it feel magical like fairy homes sprinkled around the yard and gorgeous hobbit-like additions everywhere; from the hardware in the bathrooms to the wood furniture/railings/counters. And the best part is it’s quiet and secluded. We had the best time watching the snow fall and playing games. We didn’t really like the long staircase when loading and unloading, but honestly, that’s the only negative thing about this cottage. It’s amazing! We will be back!

Lydia's house really has to be seen to be appreciated. The photos are great, but there are hundreds of little details on the property and inside the house that really make the fairy tale experience immersive. On top of that, the sheer level of craftsmanship (especially woodwork) in the construction is really jaw-dropping. Made for a wonderful, memorable first trip for this new couple. Lydia was responsive, place was very clean, every need well considered and provided for, bed was comfortable. Overall excellent experience, and highly recommend for travelers to Lake Arrowhead. If you've over six feet tall, just be mindful of the low clearance in the bedroom.

Great little cabin for a mountain getaway. Amazing attention to detail in the décor. Perfectly located near the village for shopping and dining. Have coffee on the deck with the squirrels while breathing the fresh mountain air. I could not recommend this cabin more!

Lydia thank you so much. We enjoyed our stay very much! We appreciate the time,effort and hard work you put in to make storybook a fantastic cabin to experience. The only tricky part was finding it lol. We really had to pay attention to the address on the tree, we thought the cabin would be visible from the road and we had a little trouble with the lock box trying to figure how it's a latch opening. Other than that, I would highly recommend this special little gem, thanks so much again. Pete & Mercedes
