Our family has been gathering together each summer for a week of fun and memories for over 10 years now. We recently outgrew the house we’ve been renting and needed more space for our growing family. This house was outstanding and we loved the variety of the rooms. So spacious and uniquely themed and named. The swimming was fun though a little warm this time of year. We loved the small cottage for our teens to gather.

This property was amazing. We took a group of graduating High School Students. There was enough space, plenty to do, and a great atmosphere for us to have a great time. The lake area was amazing with great fishing and deep enough to swim. Extremely amazing property. I plan on going back some day!

Rented this beautiful home for a family wedding. It was perfect for all ages. So many amenities for family fun and such gracious and helpful hosts. It was perfect. Would love to go back.

We had a great time! The house was perfect - amazing to have a bathroom with every bedroom. The location was awesome. We had a yoga instructor come one morning and a personal chef come one evening. We enjoyed the water and some local restaurants. The homeowners were super easy to communicate with. The house was clean. The bed are super comfortable. The location, even with the traffic noise, was very quiet and easy to get to. The kitchen it huge. And the finishing details of the house and property were terrific. I would rent again for either work or personal! Thank you so much for a great week.

Great house for families. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a huge plus. Kids playroom was great. We didn't have time to use the bikes or canoes/kayaks, but they were available, which is also nice. Huge kitchen and eating area. All-in-all a great house!

Beautiful new spacious but little details need attention…no dressers/chest of drawers in any bedrooms, 3-4 hangers, no trash containers in bathroom sink area, none at all in 1/2 bath, only 1 set bath towel in some bathrooms, spices in kitchen not labeled , outdoor flag needs light at night, very inconvenient to have to take trash every day to recycle

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house is spacious, modern, with loads of windows. The hosts were very helpful in supplying information that we needed before we arrived, concerning restaurants, etc. He had four vehicles so were grateful for the large circular driveway -- parking for plenty of cars.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the pictures were an accurate reflection of the property. Very clean. All furniture and finishes were high quality. This home was the perfect setting for our annual Thanksgiving getaway. Everyone had their own space and the common areas were spacious. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the property - from the row boat & paddle board to the back porch & fire pit. We had camp fires and s’mores almost every night. The dining room was the perfect size for our Thanksgiving dinner with family. We even had a few brave souls take a pre-dinner cold plunge jump off the dock! Our host was particularly helpful and gracious during and after our stay.

This was our wecond visit to Kolross cottage, which is actually an extremely spacious and well-appointed new home with big spaces and all the amenities. We had two families and three generations present for a delightful Fall weekend. There was plenty of parking and all enjoyed the yard on the lake and cookout, as well as the delightful rear porch. We will go again when we can.

I booked this house for a girls weekend for my birthday. It was my second time staying here and it did not disappoint. What a dream. We enjoyed time on the lake, a sunset cruise and dinner at the Ritz. The house is set up perfectly! We enjoyed the kayaks, the SUP boards, the open lay out with views of the lake. We cant wait to stay again!

The house came with everything we needed. The only drawback is the access to the lake is a little tricky. You need to be an experienced boater to get through the small bridge. However, there is a Marina a minute away that we used when we rented a boat, so it didn’t stop us from having a great time on the lake. Appreciated all extras that came with the house that kept our kids very busy.

There are so many great things about this house from the bunk room and fun room that the kids loved and the large living room and dining room but our favorite part was the dock, the Sandy beach area where we could walk into the lake and all the amazing lake supplies like kayaks and paddleboard that were provided - everyone in our family loved their stay here!

House and property are even more beautiful in person than online photos show. Even tho property listed with Eatonton address, city of Greensboro on other side of bridge has everything you need - from Ace Hardware to Publix - and is only 5 to 10 minutes away from house. We were large group and cooked every meal. Double ovens a HUGE bonus! Never ran short on dishes or silverware. Steve and Lana were EXTREMELY accommodating from the very beginning all the way to the end of our stay. Fishing on the dock was enjoyed by all. Watched sunrise with colors reflecting on lake each morning. Weather was unexpectedly cooler so we Floridians got to take advantage of the fire pit every night. BOOK YOUR STAY WITH THIS HOUSE - you won't be the least bit disappointed.

Let me start by saying that everything about this property was amazing. The house was immaculate, the location and included amenities were perfect! The house had everything we needed from cooking utensils to bandaids :-) . We fished and kayaked around the lake! It was amazing. Check in was seamless and the hosts were very responsive.

We had a masters event here for the week and the space was perfect for our clients. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our guests and the housed flowed perfectly for afternoon and nighttime entertainment. We played cornhole at night and the house flood lights provided great lighting.

The house accommodated our group of 5 couples comfortably, with room for more. The weather wasn’t great during our stay so we spent most of our time inside, the beautiful furnishings made it a treat to be indoors. House appears to be brand new so finishes and furnishings feel fresh and clean. The large kitchen was perfect for many cooks at once. Ample seating in the living area also lent itself to our gathering. The host, Steve, could not have been more pleasant and helpful before and after our stay. If you are looking for super clean, stylish property with lots of king beds, all with ensuite baths, this is the house for you.

Exceptional property, beautiful view, close to town but still with a feel of seclusion. The property has so many unique touches, and “Golden Acres” thought of everyone- from kids to older people. Absolutely wonderful! This house is decorated with very thoughtful details. This house is immaculate in decor and designs. This lake house is perfect. Let’s start first with the owners, they are so sweet and communication is amazing! Now the property, just wow. The house is full of so many surprises. Everything is well designed and gives plenty of space to be together but spread out! The kids bunk Room was perfect. They didn’t come out half the time. My family enjoyed ourselves so much that we are planning to book again next year! Bonus points for the neighbors cat, I’m not a fan of cats but that one won my heart.
