About this house rental
Summary:
Welcome to our 4 bed, 2 bath home, which can sleep up to 10 people in our four beds and sofa bed. Not only do we have spacious bedrooms, but our home features a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor patio space, and two cozy living rooms. We're conveniently located in the Guion Creek area of Indianapolis, so we're a quick 10 min drive to Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Airport, and only 15 mins to downtown Indianapolis. From Lucas Oil Stadium, to the Indianapolis Zoo, to White River State Park.
The Space:
Guests will enter the home with a digital door code on the front door. Once inside, you'll be welcomed into the cozy and open living spaces. The queen sleeper sofa and two armchairs make up the living room with a large farmhouse table with two bench seats just behind hit. Through the entrance on the left side of the room is the entrance to the fully-equipped kitchen. Here, you'll find a full-size fridge, microwave, oven, stove and dishwasher!
Just before you enter the kitchen, you'll see a doorway which will take you to the sleeping areas of the home. There are four bedrooms in our home. The master bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The remaining three bathrooms all have a queen bed and ample closet space to store your belongings. There is an additional shared full bathroom in the hallway. There is a second living room towards the back of the house which features a second sleeper sofa!
The backyard is fully-fenced in and has a table and chairs and a charcoal bbq grill available for use!
Guest Access:
The house has a digital combo lock pad. We will provide you with the code upon check-in. Guests will have full and private access to the home.
The Neighborhood:
This is a very quiet and safe residential neighborhood.
Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are readily available, but we recommend driving.
Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

We like to give our guests maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free check-in via a digital door code. Just know that we are only a phone call away if ever the need arises during your stay!

This was not the best VRBO we have done, but it was acceptable given the last-minute nature of dealing with another VRBO cancellation on short notice of a big family/friends trip.
The team was fairly prompt to respond to our problems, and dealt with these situations well. A little more description of the location and amenities would have gone a long way to us understanding the house before we arrived--sizes and locations of bathrooms, etc.
The location was clean, but fairly sparse on amenities like garbage bags, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, etc. There were a few lights out that need fixing--especially in the master bathroom shower. We left some condiments in to-go containers (like you get at a fast food restaurant) so there are basic condiments there for folks.
Overall, a good stay.

We came into town with some family and friends just for the weekend. We had a lot of events to go to, so we were only at the house to sleep and a short time in the morning to make breakfast. Our main contact person was very nice.
At first glance the house seemed tidy. After we started opening the kitchen cabinets to see what we had for cooking we realized many of the cabinets were very dirty inside. The silverware tray was dirty. The knives in the knife block were dirty. Some of the plates had old hard pieces of food of them and the coffee pot had a dark film on it as if it was only rinsed out. We basically had to stay up that night and wash all the dishes, utensils and pans we planned on using in the morning.
The bedrooms were very tidy. The bed sheets looked like they were just put on and very clean. We had plenty of towels that were clean also.
Unfortunately, most of the doors in the house would not shut or open properly. We had to force them to shut and force them open which echoed loudly through the house.
They did have a nice large dinning room table with sturdy bench seats for all of us to eat. Fortunately, we did not have to use the smaller table with the 3 separate chairs as the chairs were very wobbly and would have probably not held our adults.
All in all, I think this house does have potential, but it definitely needs a good cleaning and for sure the doors to be fixed.

We found this property to be in need of major repairs. Both bathroom sinks leaked, mouse droppings under kitchen sink/stove drawer, cooking pots unusable, chairs wobbly and unsafe, smoke detectors chirping/batteries needed replaced. Return exhaust fans very dirty. Concrete entry porch is all broken up and a tripping hazzard. We were very disappointed.

Stayed with a group for a multi-day event held at Eagle Creek Park. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The house was conveniently located to both the park and plenty of stores/restaurants in the area. Downtown was easily accessible as well. Check in/out was easy and the space worked well for our group. One negative was that the internet was a bit spotty (but as we all know these things are occasionally out of the control of the homeowner).

The rental appeared clean and well organized when we got to the house. We stayed for one week. One bedroom's linens were on the bed sideways and another bedroom's sheets were found to contain dirty socks from a previous renter. Also the garbage disposal quit working during the trip and there were ants in the kitchen on the counters.
This is not to say the place was a wreck, it was a very fine and well appointed rental exactly as shown in the photos. The A/C was very good the showers and bathrooms were clean. Just a couple of problems as mentioned. Would definitely recommend the place, the manager was very helpful and we overall had a very good time. Would definitely return. Just need to pay a little more attention to a few details.

My family and I loved this home. It was comfortable, convenient and overall a great place to stay.

Property owners communicated well and clearly. One bedroom had sheets that appeared to be washed but had small amounts of dirt/debris (almost like someone stepped on the sheet to hang something up on the wall). Bathroom was also out of hand soap. Space was adequate and looked newly updated (paint/furniture). Pleased but wished it was a little cleaner.
