The water in the are has a natural Sulphur smell due to the high mineral content in the water. We test the waters for safety on a routine to ensure it is safe to drink. Although, it is safe it may be unpleasant to drink due to the scent and sometimes discoloration caused by the minerals. So we suggest our guests to also bring extra water.

My family and I spent the weekend at this cabin; it was amazing. The cabin is well-maintained and has everything you need. It is very private; I did not see or hear any neighbours. I really recommend this place.

The cabin was very cozy and it was the perfect place for us to spend this Xmas. I will recommend it to anyone who wants a private, quiet homey retreat. So I understand that we have no control of what nature throws at us. LOL. That storm was pretty brutal. We made the very best of everything and it was lovely. However, the hot tub was a huge disappointment for us as we had planned on spending most of our time in it. I do have to mention this only because it was one of the main reasons we chose this place for our Xmas retreat. I’m sure part of the reason for the price of the cabin is because of the use of the hot tub. We also paid an extra $125.00 to have the hot tub ready for our arrival. We were told to keep the hose running into it as there was a leak in the tub. This only worked for a couple of hours until it froze. The fireplace in the upper bedroom was also not working. This we found out after we tried to turn it on. Apparently, it was known that it didn’t work. You may also want to look into the electrical in the home as we had a few issues with the breakers popping and there is one whole wall behind the sofa that the electrical outlets didn’t work which included the light for the staircase. I don’t think it is a lot to ask that I receive a substantial discount. At the end of the day, it was a lovely place to spend our time but the hot tub issue and the not working fireplace upstairs was a big disappointment for us Respectfully, Ann

We enjoyed our stay! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed! We loved the tex mex theme! We did have issues with the hot tub, we were unable to use it due to a leak, but the host and property manager were helpful and responded to us promptly. Beautiful spot! We would certainly return! Thanks for having us!!
